The worst experience of my life, no compassion terrible customer service absolutely terrible a year into this procedure with money upfront the monument of my dear mother still not up she has put emotionally stress on my whole family and still till today she has not put up the monument lies lies lies from beginning to end Never do business with them. I will make sure that everybody is aware of what a terrible terrible company that says and the customer service horrible never never used them. You’ll be duped.

My mother passed last year and I was referred to S. Greenbaum Monuments by a rabbi who said that he used them for his family members and highly recommended them. From my first call to Meyer Greenbaum, I was struck by his warmth, sensitivity and desire to work with me to create the exact monument that I wanted. He was a pleasure to work with and his prices were very fair for the beautiful work that he did. Both my father's and brother's graves were quite blackened over the years and when I mentioned this to him he said he could acid wash them to improve how they looked. I was amazed when he sent me the photos after he completed the cleaning since they looked like they were just made. Aside from the excellence of his work, Mr. Greenbaum makes you feel that he truly cares about you and your family. He understands how important it is that their final resting place is marked with a stone that shows the respect and love felt by their family. I highly recommend them and want to thank Mr. Greenbaum for being there for me at a very difficult time.
Great company, good quality, very responsive. I had some frictions with them over a mistake they made with my mother’s monument. Robin Cohen worked patiently with me to correct it. They take pride in their work.

SI Monuments are so great, they take a very stressful and sorrowful time and provide the patience and guidance to make the process of picking a headstone that is both personal and beautiful for your loved one. Karen is a wonderful, caring person that truly listens to her clients. Several years ago when my father passed away, wanted a specific thing etched into his stone and it came out just as we asked.
Last month I visited the cemetery and saw that my grandparents headstone was soiled with something and I immediately called to see if they provide cleaning services. They did and within 2 weeks it was like new! So happy with all their services, you need to use them when that time comes, and they will be there for you!

They did a wonderful job in cleaning the gravestone. It was important to me that it would get done before the upcoming holiday and they made sure to accomplish my request with the short time I gave them. Definitely recommend them.,

Thank you to Julie and her crew at Bushwick Monuments. My Mom recently joined my long departed Dad in Heaven, and I needed the headstone updated. Bushwick Monuments updated the headstone so seamlessly that it looks brand new and not like it had been in place since 1978. And an originally stated time line of 16-18 weeks, only took approximately 2 1/2 months.

The Cruz Family concurs with many other dissatisfied customers regarding Michael’s lack of empathy, condescending attitude & overall rudeness. It is our opinion that the delays & below standard services are attributed to his laissez-faire attitude. COVID destroyed our family; Supreme showed NO empathy. After waiting close to one year for our stone, a $250 billing discrepancy on a 15 day old outstanding bill led to a collection letter threatening to remove the stone from the gravesite. This “family” owned business gets a ZERO rating in all categories especially “humanity”!

Joe and Susan were amazing!!! I needed to have my grandfather’s name added to an existing stone and they made a sad process very easy. Both of them spoke about my grandfather as he was part of their family and showed great empathy. Both were nothing but professional and exceptional to work with. Meyer Greenbaum was truly wonderful to work with during a very challenging time. His compassion combines with his professionalism, understanding that while this is a difficult thing to do, the process must be respected. Above all, he is a real mensch. I highly recommend S. We recommend Staten Island Monuments for its excellent monumental services. Robert guided us in selecting stones, walked through various design elements and even personalization. His expertise and knowledge are priceless. With enough patience, like a teacher, Robert clarified all our questions satisfactorily. The monument is beautiful. However, I experienced very poor customer service repeatedly. And that is the truth. Even then, I recommend Staten Island Monuments. Thank you, Staten Island Monuments.
My siblings and I initial experience when ordering the headstone for my father was great. On the contact my fathers headstone was to be completed on or around the time of October 2, 2021. My siblings and I were beyond happy with that date because my fathers birthday is. In late October. October came around and shipments were backed up and they told us a few more weeks, fair enough we didn’t complain and just waited. Today the headstone comes in and is incomplete. We asked and paid for a picture which is on the contract and the picture is not on the headstone. They did not even call to explain the picture would be missing. When we called the response we got was “This was the one headstone the boss did not preview beforehand the picture will be on by Christmas” we are heartbroken to go there and see it is incomplete and wish we would have known that beforehand going there and seeing it today and wish it could be done sooner since we have been waiting since the summer.
It was pleasure working with Julie, she was patient and understanding with the delay caused from the mail. Thank you, for keeping me in loop, and addressing all the concerns. Bushwick Monuments, did a great job on the engraving.

Mr Greenbaum was professional yet sympathetic, he has a superior knowledge of this business and is not pushy. The monument was ready even before our deadline. It was a superb job and we are so proud of it.

The entire process was exceptional. Fern walked me through each step of the selection process and answered every question I had with care. I was very satisfied with the results.
We found this as we were exiting the metro. This is interesting to see if you are in the area.
Buying a headstone is not a purchase anyone looks forward to. However, dealing with Supreme can help ease the situation. I purchased a stone for my mom years ago and when my dad passed this year there was an issue with adding the inscription. Supreme (the company owner and Susan) was wonderful and took care of everything to our satisfaction! I would highly recommend this company!

I can't give enough praise to Staten Island Monuments for the wonderful job they did preparing my husband's monument. A very special thank you to Sean who worked with me during this difficult process & who helped make an unbearable time more bearable. I thought I would have to travel out to Long Island to order the monument since my husband is buried out there. This would have been such a hardship for me. Then I saw your add in the Staten Island Advance. What caught my eye was that you service the tri-state area. So very happy with my decision. My son & I went to St. Charles cemetery in Farmingdale on Sunday to visit my husband's grave & see the monument for the first time. It's absolutely beautiful. I couldn't be happier. My son said you did a phenomenal job.

It's absolutely great to walk Into a family owned business and actually experience customer service something in my opinion Brooklyn is lacking. My mother and I dealt with Michael who was just honest about everything and not trying to upsell us. You know buying a headstone is not something you wanna do but he made it a great experience. Recently contacted Them, after Over 40 years since I used/needed their service, they were more then helpful, friendly and courteous. Side note, my Head stone and engraving are just beautiful as they were 40+ years ago when I buried my Mother. GREAT Work, Great Service.

My husband's family has used Greenbaum Monuments for generations. Mr. Greenbaum was pleasant, helpful, and easy to deal with during a difficult time. He communicated with the cemetery for us, saving us added stress. He really knows all the details of what has to be done and his quoted price was fair and accurate. We communicated by e-mail, phone, and fax with made things easier. (Of course if someone wants to go to see him personally in Brooklyn they can.) We were very satisfied with the stone and the "set" each time we needed a monument.
Great service, price, and timing. My grandmother's and uncle's etchings look exactly like their pictures. The dominoes on top are perfect. They were even kind enough to gift me and install a vase which really makes the stone stand out. Thank you!
