Beautiful church with cute garden in the heart of D.C.

The groom and bride were absolutely cute and the priest cracked a few jokes along the way and was very inclusive and respectful to the family and other religions that attended. But, all and all it was a great Catholic wedding and very cozy church!

Incredibly beautiful cathedral. Cantor was wonderful and priest gave a pointed homily. Always appreciated the use and consistent alterservers.
I attended mass there a few times last year. My cousin attends regularly. It was very traditional and beautiful. BTW Bible has scientific accuracy like round Earth and jet stream and the hydrologic cycle and much more!

The Cathedral was beautiful! I went to see a wedding. It was unseasonably warm, so they used fans to help us feel cooler. The acoustics made it difficult to hear speakers and the priest at times.
Very conducive place to nurture my spirituality. So peaceful & beautiful inside -out.

New priest from Cameroon is an anti- gay zealot and devastated our best friend’s wedding with his unscripted riffing about how marriage should only be between “natural born men” and “natural born women”. When people in the audience started crying he preached even more. Ultimately the wedding went 40 minutes over schedule and the bride and groom had to apologize at the reception. This was not the Christian values they wanted to represent at their matrimony!!!

Whenever my soul needs peace I come here to sit and refresh. I love it here it really is peaceful.

Great Saturday night mass time, but I believe they've cancelled all masses on Weekends but one.....7:30 Sunday morning.

The church building is really beautiful. I went for Sunday mass and I loved the singing and the homily.
One of the most welcoming, spiritual churches I have ever belonged to. I love being a member of the Cathedral community. Every one should have the opportunity to experience the caring and love of this family.
St. Augustine has been my church home since the early 1980's. It's always inspiring to hear the FANTASTIC gospel choir, see the diversity amongst the congregation, and get a spiritual nourishing like no other!!!
Mother Church of African American Catholics in DC. Been a member since the 90's. Gospel Mass Sundays at 12:30pm is absolutely soul stirring. Pastor Pat Smith is a stirring presence. Mass is streamed on YouTube. Choir is world renowned. Worth the visit!

I went to see Handel's Messiah and the building was beautiful.
I was introduced to their Gospel Choir when I was a student at Georgetown 30 years ago. I visited the church and I have always found it to be warm and welcoming. The sermons are thought provoking and the prayers address what is happening in the world in a meaningful way. The church has navigated the pandemic in a responsible way. Recently an individual experienced a medical crisis, and the love and care expressed by everyone present was what true Christianity looks like.
I love this beautiful church. They have an amazing choir like I’ve never heard. This church is a must attend.
Beautiful little Catholic church in Englishtown, NJ.
Went to the candlelit Mass and goodness, it was absolutely beautiful. I usually do not likke going to such a late Mass on Sunday, but if I'm ever in the area again I would do my best to come back for it. If you never have been I highly reccomend as it was stunning and reverent.

I'm glad I went to that church, I felt peace and God's grace. To me this is not just a church, is my home, a house where i can cry and my father carries me in his arm. God is always present

This church is in the heart of DC, very beautiful, reverent, traditional architecture. I went to the Saturday evening Mass after the March for Life, and the church was quite full of visitors like myself. The priest was very welcoming, had a very clear, orthodox homily. The inside of the church in the beauty of the liturgy makes it easy to praise God while at the church

I attended Easter Sunday 2021 Mass at this splendid church. The interior is spectacular and the Mass was incredibly beautiful.
The Cathedral is a towering structure in Portland. The Cathedral was build in the 1860s and serves as an example of Gothic Revival. You can develop an appreciation for the sheer size of the building during a walk on the grounds. Note the many windows, which I found to be interesting.

Decent funeral service I attended there
The best Roman Catholic church in Washington DC if you ask me. This is strictly based on the congregation, which is inclusive and welcoming, and not at all on the architecture, location, or any other attribute of this church. Race, creed/denomination, sexual orientation, citizenship status ... none of that should matter anywhere and, here at St. Martin's, it really doesn't. You will be welcome for who you are.
Daily Mass is at 7:30am MWF, service is different than what I'm used to, the priest is the only one who gives the Eucharist in the morning daily Mass and the wafer is the only option. It's a beautiful quaint church, the pews actually have seat cushions!

I'm a member, was married here, and have been attending for years. Why a 4 star instead of 5? Well the building has its limits and this review reflects that. It only has one bathroom, the confessional (western side of the building) is not clearly marked, there is no place for screaming babies/kids, and the building has "old building" issues. What I love about Immaculate is that it is a beautiful old church and has parking (for now) on the next block at 8th and O St NW. It is conveniently located near a metro station (Mt. Vernon).
The traditional Latin Mass at 9 am was beautiful, very well attended and the priest's sermon was strong. Relic of Blessed Karl of Austria awesome! If ever in DC will go again!
Lovely, modern Catholic church. Had noon day masses too. Large amount of parking in the lot.

Visited today for the first time, attended Easter morning Mass with some family members. We usually attend a smaller Church quite far away from where Little flower is.
Getting through the neighborhood was a little confusing, thank goodness for GPS. The parking lot was large and accommodated many cars, sometimes in the Bethesda area you are stuck to street parking and fighting over where to put your vehicle. Thankfully this was not the case even on Easter Sunday.
The music chosen was appropriate and it seems like they have some good musicians employed. I sat near the musicians but I feel if I sat anywhere else I might recommend upgrading the sound system. I did have some difficulty understanding the homily which also lens to my possible sound system upgrade recommendation.
I really appreciated the youthfulness of the parish. There were lots of families with small children. Any fussing from my children or the crunching of goldfish crackers was not out of the ordinary for the regular parishioners. Thankfully no one was offended like some churches I've attended.
If this wasn't so far away from me I'd consider joining the parish. We had a wonderful time.

9AM mass has a traditional choir and noon mass has a contemporary African American gospel choir. Community is king and all are welcome. Your pick. You can't go wrong.
This is a church in the middle of englishtown they're great priest here they also have a 7 p.m. Mass on Saturdays which makes it very convenient if you have plans for Saturday and you still would like to attend Mass on a Saturday night. I enjoy the homilies from all of the priests.
Father Monsignor Mosley just informed me that The 730 mass may be cancelled if attendance is not improved over the next 2 months

Enriching service
Former parish, it has various communities french, spanish, english to worship God daily. It has a spacious event venue to create memories for your celebration. Although parking is limited, it still the right place to pray and worship God.
OMG. This is a must stop. Noon Mass. Bring your singing voice. Leave behind Catholic issues. Enjoy the community. Visited from California. If I were closer, this would be my Sunday every Sunday.
Pimmit attended a concert of the Apollo Orchestra. The music series is a wonderful Ministry
come here to pray and be spiritual with my faith. Church service is not crowded when I go at 8am.

I attended a wedding here, it's a stunning cathedral consisting of two large areas. The interior is spacious, clean and beautiful. The parking outside is ample, with two entrances. A lovely place to host and attend a wedding!

Beautiful church with an open and amazing head priest. The church offers services in French among other ways they support diversity. The music program at the church is very talented with a lovely Christmas concert among other events. Unfortunately, it's not close to our house or in the best of neighborhoods, but otherwise a wonderful Catholic Church.
