Beautiful church, wonderful service
I came here by chance since I was close by to check out the Gateway Arch! Next time, I'll attend a mass here for sure.
Nice church with lots of colonial art. This place is just minutes away from the airport, so it's worth visiting if you happen to be flying to or out of Tucson
It might not be so ancient as the European churches. However, the number of mosaic pieces is incredible. The work that was done 100 years old is unbelievably gorgeous...You feel like you are a part of this huge masterpiece. Just emotions. ❤️❤️❤️
It’s a beautiful Church in Tucson. There’s a lot of history and it’s worth the drive to go see this Church. It’s a historic Spanish Catholic mission that was finished in 1797. It doesn’t take too long to walk through.
There’s also a nice gift shop that you can visit on the way out.
I am so glad I came to visit. Incredibly beautiful church and well maintained, rich with so much history. Love the Moorish touches. The outside garden is also lovely and the gift shop was great. Incredible architecture and details. Burrito was also nice and filling.
Go here! Not religious, but did find a place to write the name of a deceased loved one for a prayer which was really neat. Just so beautiful and amazing place. Go down to the museum downstairs, very cool!
A beautiful and historic Catholic Church in the United States. This was my first visit since the major renovations. I was happy to see that it was not reccovated and kept is traditional fixtures and design. There is dedicated parking for Mass but please be careful, St. Louis is not safe. St. Louis, King of France, Ora pro nobis.
We hopped on a basic trolley tour of St. Louis, and boy were we delighted that this was a stop along the way (the only stop where we deboarded). Over 40 million mosaic tiles painstakingly installed over 40 years - I think that my mouth was open the entire time. It's best to visit outside of the worship schedule so that you can tour the entire interior.
I immediately felt the spirit of the lord as my daughter and I walked in we dipped a finger in the holy water I blessed my daughter and we proceeded to the front to pray donate then light a candle as we stood in awe!! Centuries old church and the power we felt was truly overwhelming. I beat cancer in a single dad and without gods favor I would not be here so this experience was what I needed as currently my life is financially in ruin but faith gets me through. I left feeling empowered. Thank you father.
This place is worth the short drive 15 minute drive south of Tucson. The main hall is very impressive. We were able to sign the guest book and even lighted a candle. I brough5 my mother in her wheelchair and there were several areas on the grounds that were wheelchair accessible.
When in Tucson, this is a must. The details inside the church are absolutely beautiful. They have a gift center where you can buy different size bottles for holy water, and outside the church, they have food vendors selling fried bread and other food. On the side of the church, they have a hill that you can walk around. It's short and sweet.
Religious or not, everyone should visit here at least once. It is stunning. It takes your breath away when you step inside. It feels like you're stepping into a Cathedral Basilica in Italy.
Quoted from the visitors guide-
“… unique design combines architecture of Romanesque style on the exterior with a wondrous Byzantine style interior.
In the narthe (vestibule) the mosaics depict the life of Saint Louis IX, King of France…
“…one of the largest collections of mosaics in the world, created by 20 different artists and covering 83,000 square feet. The installation, containing 41.5 million pieces of glass tessare employing over 7,000 colors, began in 1912 and was completed in 1988 by the Ravenna Mosaic Co….Pope John Paul Il designated the Cathedral of St. Louis a Basilica in 1997.”

Make sure to go downstairs to the mosaic museum.

Absolutely outstanding and breathtaking.
A must see.
Beautiful homily – and community.
Perfect way to start a day.
Daily Mass.
Multiple weekend Masses.
Wow the view alone is outstanding. Just takes your breath away.
The church is beautiful from the outside. The stained glass windows are beautiful .
So many old gravestones.

This place is so beautiful. I bring friends from out of town all the time even if they’re not Catholic. You most likely won’t get service up there. But the drive is amazing and it’s super close to Denver. If you would like to buy a candle that you can light in the chapel, you do need to go inside of the Gift shop. The candles are five dollars for a smaller one. You can also pay a dollar to light a tea light candle inside the chapel as well. But the chapel is down below by the entry to the stairs of the statue.

They are currently doing construction but there are no issues getting into the building. During the week there’s only one staff working and during the weekend there’s a couple more which makes it faster. We definitely recommend buying a candle and then going and lighting in the chapel. There’s so many things to see. If you’re willing to do the stairs it’s definitely a hike, you want to make sure that you take some water with you and wear good shoes. But the view is amazing. And of course, the statue at the top is worth it as well. This is just one of those places that you have to come and see there’s nothing that can describe in words. A little piece of Heaven on heart.
Super helpful staff
Here are a couple of photos of when my little family and I went. They are friendly, lovely gift shop, and delicious fry bread sold outside. Support locally run business. It's free but they do ask for donations so make sure you take some cash.
What a gem on the Potomac.
So thrilled our overnight mentioned St. Ignatius
Beautiful Place. Not sure why they made took my Grand-mother in laws placement down and told the family they were making everyone take theirs down, however if you walk the path they most certainly did not take them all down. Other than that I love the view and the feeling of being there.
Nice to see this historic site. The church is preserved and the cemetery is full of Charles County history. The statue walk of Jesus' crucification and resurrection was beautiful! It would have been nice to have a few benches scattered about.
This is a well preserved historical church building. My husband and I stopped in here on our way to the gateway arch and the sanctuary is beautiful. This was a nice quiet place to pray and reflect in the middle of a busy city.
We stopped hereon our cross country drive. It was absolutely beautiful and the people we so kind! There are locals making fresh food on the ground and the architecture is breathtaking! Highly recommended stop.
This is one of the most beautiful cathedral we've seen around the world. It has the most beautiful mosaic that rivals those in France and UK. In fact it's the largest collection of mosaic in the world. Building the church took 7 years, but the mosaic work took 76 years. If you visit St. Louis, this is a site that you should not miss. It's literally jaw-dropping. Amazing!
Absolutely incredible/beautiful church. While I am not overly religious, I was in all of his beauty. Very clean and highly polished marble large wooden pews, huge vaulted ceilings, filled with gorgeous mosaics. They have on display the chair that the pope sat in on a visit. As well as a rare 14th century choir book on display. Regardless of your religious affiliations if you have the chance to stop by and see this basilica, it is well worth your time.
Incredibly preserved church. It is the only original building left on the St Louis waterfront and is still an active church.
Beautiful! We were not able to go inside due to a service that was being held. However, we heard the music and enjoyed it. The gift shop has some nice items and fair prices. The locals set up and made delicious fry bread.
A massive and impressive cathedral that combines both Eastern and Western European architectural styles. As impressive as the exterior is, the interior is on a whole other level. Just seeing pictures of the interior was enough for me to want to visit. I wasn't aware though that the designs and artwork on the walls/ceilings were mosaics and not paintings. That made it all the more impressive just thinking of all the effort it took to finish it. There are free tours that occur throughout the day and we were fortunate enough to catch one. This is recommended as you are able to go to a few places that are inaccesible if not on the tour. There is also a small museum in the basement.
Been twice in the last 2 weeks..something about this drive, and the visiting the gift shop. Feel a great sense of peace and inner joy. Definitely recommend this for your loved ones or just a day trip with you favorite person.
This church has so much history. They are our favorite spot to watch the sunset. It has the perfect view. You must read the information boards posted around the property, they are very interesting! There is a beautiful gazebo and hidden statue near the parking, and the most beautiful cemetery. A must visit.
Lovely church with historical interest in a spectacular setting on a hill overlooking the river.
Beautiful, welcoming church. Attended for Easter Vigil while visiting Baltimore. Seems like a lovely community.
I was in town visiting family, and I attended an awards ceremony for the church basketball teams. It was an awesome event, and well put together. I met the priest of the church , he came by an Introduce himself to me. The parents were very warm and friendly. The food was delicious, and the hoodies the child received were very nice👍🏾. I must say the town residents of New Hope are an amazing group ofpeople. If you're ever in that neck of the woods, stop by any of their restaurants for a delicious meal 😋 .
Beautiful pilgrimage experience. Grotto, rosary garden, stations of the cross, Divine Mercy statue and the 10 commandments all gave me a sense of renewed faith. It was like a Catholic buffet! All you should eat!
A wonderful church and community. Have only been to mass when visiting but loved
the 1/29/23 homily and the energy of the choir. Peace be with this parish.
This is beautiful in the inside
Such a great Catholic Church in a perfect location for Boston College students. From the priests, gorgeous architectural design, stained glass windows, it was perfect for a wedding. Our couple (both were BC students) chose to get married here in December, it was perfect for the snowy dreamy day.
Great town mark for New Orleans. This church building is the center of the main colonial city square in NOLA. It’s the reference of the city growth and beginning during colonial times and further expansion. You can enter freely (voluntary contributions are encouraged) and the inside provides great reference of the economic wealth back in the times. Surrounding this cathedral you can find several shops and active areas to center your expeditions to get to know the city better.

Their interfaith New Year's Eve prayer service is a wonderful way to bring in the new year.
An exciting experience. Come and join.
We've photographed weddings at the Old Cathedral for over 13 years and love it. The rich history and beauty make it an easy choice for our couples and the staff are always easy to work with.
A beautiful place for prayer, and the home of a great patroness of Colorado.

I love making small pilgrimages up here every so often to pray and reflect. Here’s a basic itinerary you can use!

Typically, I will start by praying a Divine Mercy Chaplet as I walk down to the fountains that have the miraculous water. I drink the water and say a prayer to enter into Jesus’ Thirst. Then, I will pray the stations of the cross up to the Jesus statue. After some silence at the top, I will pray a rosary on the way back down the stairs and end with a prayer in the Chapel. If you can attend Mass while here, even better.

Be sure to check out the gift shop and learn the history of Mother Cabrini and this holy site.
When I lived in Chestnut Hill, I used to worship here, as a grand daughter of Jesuit educated man and an Argentine, I always felt very close to the Jesuits, they are the best and most educated and prepared priests in the world.
Really good mass
Very BEAUTIFUL and GREAT priest, super nice.

In absolute awe of this place. It was always in my to do list. As you go up the steps there are stories on crosses. People make. Rosses made out of stone. When you reach the top, there is the statue of Jesus. There is water so one can take hone some. Lots of benches going up the stairs help as many people need to rest.
If you speak the language, and dress as we always did in Mass... a lot in this church keeps itself up as a good as an 1880 graveyard keeps itself, and I should know!. Look at this Church,⛪️ this is as fine as Chessboard. Especially if you're Italiano or Sicilian, or live it such as I. If that's the case, the second that you open the front door, it's checkmate... what a Mass.

Beautiful church in DC
My daughter got married at this church a month ago. My older son was married there and my husband and I as we are all BC Grads. The church is beautiful and the clergy give great sermons. I love to attend the masses there. I was so disappointed in the staff that helped plan the wedding. Carol Russo, wedding planner, would not talk to me or return calls or emails. She was very abrupt and so rude. She would only speak to the bride; however, I was paying the fees and my daughter and I planned the mass together for her wedding. The music director, Allyn McCourt, made communication almost impossible. He would not return emails. My daughter had to email him several times before he would write back or she would have to call him to see if he received her emails. The cantor I hired called me to say that Allyn McCourt did not return her 3 or 4 emails she sent him to connect and talk about the music since it was about 2-3 weeks before the wedding. The lack of communication with this staff made our stress level increase and caused great anxiety. They were so unprofessional! They were not friendly at all and when planning a wedding, you want to surround yourself with kind, friendly and reassuring people. The trumpeter I hired had to cancel due to a family emergency, so Allyn had a trumpeter. During the wedding mass the trumpeter and violist, Allyn McCourt, played so loud when the cantor was singing that we couldn't hear a word she sang. She has the most beautiful voice and the guests could not hear one word she sang! I was holding back tears!!! Since there was no communication, it was such a disappointment that the trumpeter played throughout the mass and didn't give our cantor an opportunity to be heard by our guests!!! I contacted Allyn after the wedding to talk to him, but he never returned my emails. Such a disappointing experience with this staff! They were definitely not there for us when we needed them! If you plan to get married in this church, you better make sure they communicate and are friendly with you throughout the planning so you won't be disappointed the way we were!!!!
My first time visiting and I was not disappointed. The views are beautiful from here where you can see gorgeous rolling hills with the plains and downtown Denver, DTC and chatfield lake. There are 390 steps from the parking lot to the statue. Definitely worth it! There is also a small chapel, museum, gift shop, and a couple small gardens. Not far into the mountain and it's definitely worth a visit!
Beautiful and inclusive community. Fantastic priests, staff, and music.
I am moving to Yardley and today I attended my first mass at St. Ignatius with my kids. We are all looking forward to be part of this community! God bless!
Serene and peaceful. It is such a great day when you get to go up the stairs and enjoy the view. Perfect for prayers and some bible reading. The stairs are not too bad. I took three small breaks because I hate the stairs. It took me about 12 minutes to get to the top with the breaks.
Our Lady of the Sign is a very welcoming church that celebrates a wonderful Divine Liturgy! Father Kane has spent decades serving South Florida and is a Good Shepherd and tremendous Priest. Highly recommended!!
Historic chapel. Beautiful service. Very friendly and helpful parishioners.
Been my Third week straight coming here and I loved!!
Cool Fathers always preaching relatable real life things and great perspective as well!
Father Bill Waters surprised me by remembering my country of origin and Names , shows how far his kindness and care goes! God bless our Church St Ignatius and each one of us reading this, see you next Sunday 10Am 😊🙏🏽

Beautiful, historic Italian-American Church. Stay for cappuccino and donuts!
Warm, welcoming congregation. Wonderful priest and office staff.
Lovely place to visit. We got a tour from a person who was there helping maintenance. There are benches you can sit on and watch the river boats go by. Take binoculars lots to see.

Serene place sacred to the memory of those who labored on the Maryland mission. Beautiful needlepoint on the kneelers in the Church. St. Thomas Manor house is rich in history and well with planning a visit and tour.
Amazing parish in Yardley. They have two priests who say Mass daily and regular confession available! It seems like they always have seminarians, too!

I attended many noon masses at Holy Rosary on my lunch break and was very grateful I was able to do so.
This is my favorite church in Boston. Even though it’s not in Boston LOL. The congregation is really nice, and the clergy are very humble.

I visited for a baptism I was photographing. Gorgeous church and great hospitality
Very beautiful, majestic church. The stain glass painting were heavenly divine. The church mass was very inspiring and uplifting. I went there for my daughter's freshman orientation mass and I left there feeling secure with where my daughter will be attending.
Great Sunday 12 pm mass
LOVE this Church. God is the correct path🙏
This has been my parish since I was a little girl. It is like home. I love coming to worship here. Fr. Andy is a great pastor and teacher. All are welcome here.
Outstanding Church! The 4 pm Mass on Saturday's by Father Gonzalo is wonderful. It truly is a hidden gem! Everyone is so welcoming at the Church. My family met a 100 year old lady who has been a member of the church for over 70 years...truly inspirational. The Holy Spirit is truly at this Church.

Beautiful space for worship and a strong sense of community among the parishioners. Very welcoming to visitors (they even give out coupons for free espressos if it is your first time attending Mass there!)
First time I came with my boyfriend to your services as he resides in coconut creek. I believe we had an Italian priest at the 9:30 mass who made the readings and gospel understanding and brought light in today's difficult times. We will be joint again on Fathers Day!
i enjoy going to church las milpas. texas.
St. Ignatius Church has one of the latest Masses in the city on Sundays at 6 p.m. The chapel of Grace on the lower level is very intimate, where it is easy for me to gain humility, wisdom and more peace.

We, four brothers and one's wife, portuguese, came to a nephew marriage and discovered the only Saturday Mass in Baltimore, a singel Mass, a cheerful priest. Thank you, we became much satisfied after.
A family away from a family. You know, you are with family when they ask about your little person when not seeing her or remembering it's the other parent wknd. They welcomed my family with open arms & that was 4 years ago & still going strong!
Everyone here was very loving and welcoming to my family. Faithful ness
I grew up in this church and I love the Byzantine Catholic liturgy. Our Lady of The Sign is a wonderful place to pray and I encourage everyone to check this church out.
Church is a place to see God love this church
The music is excellent and the spirt of community is strong. There are ministries/outreach programs that serve the immediate community and beyond. Although many people come from outside the Mt. Vernon neighborhood, the commitment from parishioners is present and palpable.
This is a beautiful church. the children's mass is particularly wonderful. There is a strong community in this parish and a lot of meaningful service.
