Think you’re being a good parent by taking your child to this hospital? Think again.
They will take your child away - charge you with false allegations that will result you in being torn away from your babies as they place your child with known child abuse people and say that the best thing for your child is to commit suicide. Absolutely disgusting. Deserves to be torn down brick by brick.
Also in the Netflix doc did you notice how they were charging the insurance company for the disorder they claimed wasn’t real? The disorder that they said the mom was making up? The lie they used for the basis for their whole terrible actions??
After being in the medical field over 20 years, I never knew such evil existed after watching Take Care of Maya!!! The movie speaks for itself!! Absolutely terrible 😢 I hope ALL the families find justice, peace, and win!! Lord please place the right people into the positions to help these families. I hope the doctors, nurses, and Judges stop being numb to the patients request. Also, stop playing God!! We come to you for help not to assume something because you don't understand it completely!! 😪 It's obvious when the wrong people are placed into positions of power!! Lord, please give those fighting today strength to keep going.
I wish I could give zero stars. My fiancé has had the worst pain for weeks and we went to John Hopkins - because it’s nationally known and we felt lucky to have it in our backyard. Our experience was a literal nightmare. We waited 20 hours at Bayview and then the next day 15 hours in city Hopkins!!! Just to receive no help. The staff is young, inexperienced and rude at Bayview. At Hopkins in city- all the staff was rude and lazy! Just asking someone for a blanket or a simple question- I got so much attitude and disrespect. It was appalling!!! I also watched an old lady trying to fix her chair and she almost fell!!!! I watched three nurses watch her and none helped her, so I did!!! Just absolutely unprofessional and none of the workers I had contact with should be working in the medical field. The nurses wouldn’t even explain our blood work. When I asked three different nurses for help to explain or how much longer it would be (after 12 hours of just waiting) they allllll said “let me find out, I’ll be right back” AND NOT ONE CAME BACK!! Worst hospital ever. And I paid $35 to park and got rotten old food! Do not go here!!!

I applied for many job positions; at this hospital in which I can honestly say I have no experience in the hospital profession; but noticed that some job positions don't require much experience. I just find it odd that every job position, I applied for that didn't require much experience I automatically receive; between 1 -3 days later; an automated message stating I didn't qualify and another candidate who had more experience was chosen. Since, I don't work in the HR department I can't automatically accuse any one of overlooking my applications and qualifications. Instead, I have a strong assumption that my applications are not being fully reviewed based on, the automated messages I received at a rapidly. I have applied to many positions, that again don't require minimum to none experience and still was not accepted. I have applied for over 20 job positions and was not selected for many positions I applied to; some positions I knew was a toss up based on the qualifications that is required. Despite, those particular jobs, I still should have received a different automated message for the positions I did qualify for. The point of me applying to John Hopkins, was due to my Mother having a surgical procedure at John hospital; and wanting to gain insight about the nature of the medical field. I will still continue to apply for a few more jobs; but if the rejection continues it simply wasn't meant to be.
I had my initial appointment with Dr. G. The appointment was almost 90 minutes and she listened carefully to my history. I left feeling hopeful and with a plan to get to the root of my health concerns.
Best med check place I've ever been to! The dr here is just WOW!!! My son broke his ankle at school today. You guys took such great care of us! I really can't thank the staff, The Dr, and Reggie enough!!! Thank you all for being such a caring team!
1 star is generous, and only because I cannot give 0. Writing this while I’m on my 10+ hour of waiting. Got to the ER at 0030. Not a single recognizable face amongst the patients or staff now.
After not being able to get blood from my vein at two other locations, Tony was able to get my blood on his first try and I definitely could tell he has great experience and I was very happy with his service, Thank you!
Thanks to the staff at Agile Occupational Medicine I was able to get employee drug testing done in a timely manner and received results within the time frame they gave us. I will definitely be sending other staff members here!
I had to go here to get a drug test done for my DOT drug test. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Staff was great and helpful with any questions I had. I will definitely recommend to friends and family!
Adult braces is not covered by the insurance. Over the age of 20 is the cut off age. i have been trying for years....years trying to find a place that offers braces and accepts my insurance, now i cant even get them because im over the age requirement. There should be special or rare occasion or request where it should be covered.
My wife and I welcomed our first child with John Hopskins and we were treated exceptionally. Our stay lasted 6 days.

Nearly every member of the staff seemed to truly believe in the work they were doing and it instilled confidence in my wife and I.

The student nurses were very helpful and what they may have lacked in experience they made up for in drive and enthusiasm!

Two of the nurses, who helped my wife in labour, even visited us the next day to congratulate us and check up on the status of our child.

It did get busy for the nurses the last few days and we would love to have seen more lactation specialists on staff available to help us but after this incredible experience I will certainly encourage my wife and other parents to include John Hospkins in future family planning.
My first visit at DCIM was wonderful and by far the best doctor's visit I've had in my life. It was great to sit down with Dr. G to discuss my history and I felt extremely comfortable talking with her about my symptoms and expectations for working with DCIM. I highly recommend this practice and approach to medicine- looking forward to my continued journey with DCIM!
I came to do my physical for my CDL A for truck driving and I paid $150 just to have bad service. The medical assistant that helped me had super bad attitude. I am hard of hearing and the lady didn't understand me when doing the vision test and she marked that I didn't pass it. I've had no problem with my vision and never worn glasses. I told the lady to please not give me attitude but she didn't listen. It's very unprofessional treating a patient with a disability like that. Never again will I go there.
I agree with other negative reviews. Denial and non coverage of necessary medical treatment and medications is a common issue. Finding doctors who even take Molina is hard too. It’s not the best, but unfortunately my son and I are stuck with it! Sad!
Literally the worst! Why offer insurance for minors if not 1 doctor that is listed on your website doesn’t take Molina? Called Molina 5 times today to find a new pediatrician and was told that every doctor that the gentleman called me for was not in network anymore. The worst insurance company for children!
We had a very nice experience here. Dr Kuwera and staff took perfect care of our toddler. He was competent, thorough and friendly-explaining everything as he went. It’s a large hospital, but with many helpful staff stations throughout, it’s easy enough to find your way around. Must register before entering, which ensures safety. Very thankful for wonderful healthcare.
I work with a providers office and they are the most unprofessional hard to reach confusing company. I was just verifying insurance and the girl HUNG UP ON ME TWICE!
This has to be the worst place I ever attended. There is no second opinion allowed on their diagnosis even when there is medical proof ( ultra sound or mri) that contradicts their opinion. There is mis representation of their doctor stating he is a specialist when in fact checking his credentials indicates otherwise ( family practice). They will eyeball a diagnosis and their opinion is the only thing that matters. This place is thirsty for business. Times must be hard
Dr. Gemechisa is absolutely AMAZING! She has really helped me to figure out what my body has been going through, and what it needs to thrive. I’m noticing physical improvements, but I am also experiencing mental, emotional and spiritual shifts as well. I just want to be well, and I’m so grateful to her for helping me to do that!
I’ll come back to review after I compare to My Choice (which we love) as they are now taking this over. I do like that they are nationwide so my mom may be more apt to move out of state with me now! Do you have one in North Carolina?
I had a really good experience here! Samantha Rocha PA was excellent! She answered ALL of my concerns and was very attentive. I can’t believe how good she was! I always had weight problems but never did she shamed me. Instead she believed in me and pushed me to be better! Now I’m in the best shape of my life thanks to her! My fiancé can’t believe my transformation! Front desk and medical assistants were also very nice. Now I know where to go if I ever need a clinic. 5 star!!!!
It was my first visit, so will have to wait and see how the treatment goes, but Dr G was fantastic. She’s a great listener and took my issues seriously. I’m cautiously optimistic about getting better with her help!
I just love the people at this Dr office… the front staff was wonderful, polite and very helpful, the Dr assistant was also sweet and kind and Dr. Samantha was the best she listened and was very attentive just wonderful and let’s not forget Tony the lab tech he is very skilled didn’t feel no pain when he drew my blood… we should really support this office ..
My mother in law has been battling stage 4 cancer and we have been frequent guests. The hospital is a bit outdated. The staff seem tired and overworked. However that does not hinder this being one of the best medical research hospitals in the world.
I was first introduced to DCIM by a friend who had said that Dr. Dsouza changed her life. I was a skeptic of integrative medicine at the time, but figured I would open a new window and try it out. Well, in a short window of time, I have come to swear by the work Dr. Dsouza does for her patients. I have less anxiety, sleep better, feel healthier, have lost weight, and even have better-appearing skin.

Needless to say, I went from a skeptic to an advocate in a matter of two months. In fact, I tell just about everyone I talk to about Dr. Dsouza and DCIM and have referred multiple people to start their process to their best life
I've been working with Dr. Dsouza for about 6 months now and have seen a noticeable difference in my overall health and well-being. She's helped me improve in a number of areas I felt stuck, including gastrointestinal issues, energy levels, acne flare-ups, pain relief, and stress levels. 10/10 would recommend family and friends visit DCIM!!
"Dr. Dsouza is kind, patient, and understanding. I always look forward to our appointments knowing that she will help me address any issues and improve my health within the constraints and barriers I may have in my daily life. I am healthier and happier in her care."
I came in tonight been here total of 45min. Was work related i took a test seen doctor. Sara Torres was very nice as well as the doctor. Overall good experience.
My first appointment was so great. I have been struggling with my overall health for about 2 years. After seeing several doctors I finally found DCIM and can already tell that they are listening and taking the time to understand my concerns. I can't wait to get my lab work done and for my follow up appointment!
What a terrible experience! I got there at 9:36 am never got seen I walked out after 5 please don’t waste your time on this place I learned my lesson they don’t want to see you in person they tried to do telehealth but I wanted to be seeing in person well it never happened as they charged me $100 dollars test me for COVID after I had told them I had tested myself the day before I guess they didn’t believe me or they just want to charge $100!
I think this is a scam.the insurance company denies you if medication that is needed to even walk.a preventative from getting surgery prior authorization is a crock.hiw did the doctor call prior to meeting their patients and seeing their health issues.they couldnt even find a dentist that I could see for my abscess.i wish I didn't have them as my insurance .I am looking to get away from them .besides no place hardly takes the government insurances because they can't spike the bill
Terrible experience. Their regime did not solve my problem, they lost my lab, then I'm told I have to start the process all over again. It is amazing they can fail at each step and do nothing but bilk you for several more appointments.
My experience with them has been awesome. Recently had total knee replacement surgery and my case manager went about a beyond. Calling to make sure I had everything I needed and also kept in contact with me for other medical issues that I had. I have nothing bad to say about they.
Worst experience ever i had a appointment and still waited almost 2 hours and I went early to do paper work !! If I wanted to wait that long I would have went to my primary care physician!!! Never again
The place was ok once in a while they get patients slow
I got Molina from Market place and it showed my PCP was covered & bought high dollar policy. When time came for yearly checkup, I called my PCP & they told me call Molina to change your PCP and I did that but Molina told me to tell PCP to call provider help Desk. Then got call from PCP to call Molina to change provider after they called help desk. Until know unresolved. I been calling both side for past 7 weeks but no outcome and Yes Molina insurance must be investigate.

I would give 0 stars if I could, and now it is too late to change providers. The online portal is out of date, with 99% of the providers listed not accepting Molina. Even the primary care doctor on my card had not been in Network for years. They sent me a PDF of doctors that was out of date as well. I had to go to a CVS minute clinic.

And that response below????? Why don't they fix the problems??, there are a few hundred complaints here. They also lost a pretty big class action lawsuit here in Texas as well. Do NOT get insurance with this company.

Update: I called and told them to find me a female primary care near me since I could not find one in the portal or PDF they sent. They gave me a new "female" doctor and I went to an appointment. A male doctor walked in, that was the doctor they gave me. The clinic was in a run down strip mall in a shifty neighborhood. The doctor seemed nice enough, and after conducting some tests determined I needed to see 3 specialists. They cannot find me specialists within the network (they only found one). His staff is using the same outdated online portal probably to try and find the specialists.

The email Molina provides below is useless, I tried it and have not heard back. I have now gone on to report them to the Texas State Insurance department. Hopefully they can help or find a way for me to pay cash and Molina to reimburse me for the visits and any follow up.

New Update: They sent me a letter saying that one of their advocates reached out and said she was unable to connect with me. Leticia LIED. We spoke alright and she kept cutting me off and was yelling at me, and I said I don't think you are the right person I should be speaking with. She said she was. She then went on to continue to not listen to me, then she hung up on me. A week later she left a message to see if I could see different doctors that were not the specialty I needed, I was very specific that I did not need to see the kind of doctors she suggested. So I didn't even bother to return her call.

I wrote to Molina at the given email they give here and explained what happened and never heard back.
This is the worst insurance I’ve ever been on! Especially their transportation! access to care the transportation line is the absolute worst! Access to care are by far the rudest transportation line I’ve ever dealt with. I had to miss my dentist appointment because they couldn’t come up with a transportation company to take me although in the past they came up with someone a day prior but recently they got so ridiculously strict that instead of taking care of that issue they told me to reschedule my appointment and go another day! Unbelievable! I told the dentist office that and they unfortunately couldn’t reschedule me and no other dentists take dentaquest through molina and not only did it cost me a dentist appointment but I was finally able to see a better primary care physician but they told me the transportation company they assigned me to “is booked and your ride was rejected” although I’m on Medicaid! I couldn’t believe it! So I told them because they were booked I had no choice but to cancel but after I was told that they were booked they said “oh we are not booked but now you canceled and it’s too late” although they told me they were booked is why I canceled in the first place, they ended up telling me something different at the drop of a hat making me feel guilty and I lost my appointment to my dentist and my primary care that I desperately needed because of access to care and they even had the nerve to tell me just because of that, the company couldn’t take me anymore when THEY are the ones that turned down my ride and said they were booked! they were rude and hostile and couldn’t even say they were sorry and have no manners! And they only transport you to local doctors when no local providers take my insurance and the only ones that are in network are a little farther but they won’t take you?! What a joke! I’ll be switching back to United healthcare because at least their customer service is better and they don’t turn down rides like access does because I can honestly say I am burned out on the rude customer service and abuse from molina/access to care..
The worst insurance ever! My pain management Dr. Called in my monthly meds only for the pharmacist to advise me Molina only pays for 10 days of medication! Craziest s&!+ I’ve ever heard. So out of my pocket for prescriptions cost while I’m on social security!!! This has to be illegal to give substandard @$$ coverage. I’ll certainly be looking for another provider. Also I’m having heart conditions that word me to see a cardiologist guess what can’t find one through Molina! Guess I have to pray I don’t drop dead! Molina should be ashamed!! MOLINA SHOULD Be INVESTIGATED AND RAN OUT OF BUSINESS, LIKE YESTERDAY!
I used Dr. Borges' chiropractic care connected with Pinnacle and am disappointed and frustrated. I went in for a chiropractic adjustment and my insurance covers spinal manipulations. In my 3 appointments, I had a couple physical therapy exercises, some light massages with a tool and a chiropractic adjustment. After my 3rd appointment, I received the bill for my 1st and 2nd visits, the first of which was 2 months prior and was charged hundreds of dollars. When I've used exercises, massages or extra services in addition to the spinal manipulations at other chiropractors, I haven't been charged extra but at this office, I was charged hundreds of dollars more. If I had received the bill in a timely manner after my first appointment, I would not have returned. In each appointment, I asked about the cost and payment but was told I'd be contacted. Why couldn't I see the bill up front?

When I called the office with questions on my invoice, I was asked to pay more than was on my bill but my bill doesn't have a due date so why were they trying to charge me more? So I called the phone number of Pinnacle on my bill to play phone tag and be told I'd be contacted immediately. A week later without news, I called again to have someone answer the phone with "stop calling this number" so I said, "this is the phone number on my medical bill" to which the person responded "I don't care. Never call me again." I called a short while later and left a voice mail. It's been a few business days and I haven't heard back even though their outgoing message says they'll reach out within 24 hours.

When I called Dr. Borges' office asking if I can have only the chiropractic spinal manipulation adjustment without the exercise or massages in the future, I was told that's not an option so I won't be returning.
Came to this location for a work injury. I received fast and efficient service. Annette Garica was very kind, helpful and informative. Thank you for the great doctor's visit.
Possibly worse Insurance company, they charge $2k every month yet they won't approve $100 medication. We missed many chances for tests and it could have fatal.
Don't fall for this insurance, their customer care is customer phone disconnect machine. You will need at least few hours to get correct answer. But still don't expect solution. Their answer doesn't mean you will be able to resolve your issues.
Its better without insurance than live with Molina insurance.
Went to the Urgent care today. It took THREE HOURS to be seen. By the time the doctor saw me it was a quick 10 minute consultation. Advised meds would be sent to pharmacy only to find out meds were NEVER sent in and now Pinnacles is closed for the day. Waiting another night to get meds. WORST URGENT CARE!!!
I wouldn’t even go back to this insurance if it was my last resort. I have called 4 times in October to try to cancel my insurance, was given multiple wrong phone numbers to call, was still charged for the month after i was told by 2 different people that i wouldn’t, and was given yet another phone number to call. Whatever you do, do NOT waste your time or money with this company
Molina company Access to Care uses 4 Wheels a medical transportation contractor whose drivers are physically and verbally abusive to seniors. When you complain to Molina they send the same drivers from 4 wheels who now retaliates for the patient complaining which is illegal. Molina is waiting until someone from 4 wheels murder a patient, or patients, before they fix this horrendous torment and abuse of the elderly. If you care about your love ones stay away from Molina and their affiliates or you will regret it severely, if not having to plan a funeral. This company treat the care of patients as a handout charity. Like we are a burden to them, even though they themselves makes Billions. This is the reason why Molina and their affiliates disrespect patients and treat them worst than animals. Patients who give more than one stars lives in Highland Park. Google Molina parent company and you will see that they are being paid 16.3 Billions per year to abuse, disrespect and ill treat all of us.
I'm very upset right now...Molina told me they were going to cover two procedures I had done in August 2021. I had those done in Marquette. After more than a year, I now get a bill from the UP Medical Group stating that Molina had pulled the payment back because it was out of network. But they knew this when I spoke with them and Molina said they were going to pay it, well they aren't! And now I'm stuck with a big bill that I thought it was already paid and covered...This is ridiculous, I live in a rural area where they don't have this type of specialist (liver specialist) I believe is time for me to start looking for another healthcare provider.
They need to pay attention seeing patients in a timely manner. I’ve been here 1hr 15mins & yet to be seen by a provider.
I highly recommend this location in Plano. My entire appointment may have taken 30 minutes from the time I walked the door until I left the facility. I saw Posha G.T. and Marissa was the Medical Assistant.
Birth are very kind and efficient. Posha went the extra mile to check prices for my prescription since I was a cash paying patient and she saved me $1400. That brought me to tears and she even gave me kleenex to wipe away my happy tears. Yaw'l are the best!
Hands down to order insurance I've ever had. I have yet to have them actually cover something. They screwed up the plan I signed up for and then changed the name of the plan after the fact. Luckily I have screenshots of everything. Now my primary care doesn't accept it because it's so bad. Might as well have thrown my money away.
My experience here wasn't awful. I went in for a pre-employment drug screen, physical, etc. Arrived on a Tuesday morning around 8:50am and was out the door by 11am or so. This pre-employment process always takes 1.5-3 hours everywhere I have ever gone, so I am not sure why the reviews here are so intense, this is normal. Facility was clean and staff was friendly enough. Not sure why it is being reviewed so badly.
So before I went in and paid my co-pay of $50 I told the receptionist about my previous history ingrown toenail situation and having them removed so I'd except her to tell the doctor that story. Unfortunately after I checked in, and paid my co-pay my doctor told me that she was never informed about my history and that if she'd knew ahead a time she would've referred me to a foot doctor. The front desk work people do mot know how to do their job.
DO NOT COME HERE FOR DRUG TEST
I could not speak for other services. But I came for the urine drug screen only because it's the closest location with availability. Yes, they're open 24 hours and accept walk-in. BUT, what they don't tell you is that the wait could be HOURS for a drug screen. Since they offer other services, such as physical/ health screenings, which could take up to 30 minutes each person, if there are 3-4 people ahead you, that'd be a minimal 2 hours wait.
Please save your time and go to an actual Quest Diagnostic site with an appointment!
Do not go here. It took 3.5 hours to get a drug test and physical done. Staff members are curt and incredibly rude. The receptionist misplaced a form I filled out (with very sensitive information on it) and directed me to just fill out my name on the new form she printed out for me, only to tell me later to fill out the rest. I was walking in and out repeatedly bc they don’t allow you to wait in the waiting area, and forgot to have me sign additional forms. Never coming back here again.
Over the course of two days Molina has disconnected me 7 times. I’ve been placed on hold for over 3 hours, I’ve been on this current call for 44 minutes. Several times I have called Molina and received a voice response saying they are closed; being closed at 2:00 PM is strange. At this time Molina is refusing to fill a prescription. Molina actually has the power to override a doctors order, what insurance code permits this? I was just disconnected again.

The Molina CEO makes over 19 million dollars per year. Maybe the Board should pay him what he is actually worth and invest the difference in a phone system and employee education. The biggest problem with the health industry is paying CEO’s such insane salaries.

10:30. I’m on hold again!
After a 42 minute hold, I was transferred to a supervisor named Lynn. I asked Lynn for a number for the USA. Lynn gave me the normal toll free number which rings in India and disconnected the call. There is no respect or support with this company.

I spent 48 minutes on the phone, only to get disconnected again. The absolute minimum amount of customer service doesn’t exist at Silac.
Keeping one star because their facilities seemed clean and well maintained.

The NP was very professional and polite. So an easy second star for her professionalism.

Cost, even out of pocket was acceptable. Not cheap, not overly expensive. They did credit me a portion of the initial charge because audio wasn't needed. 3 stars.

Timing was horrible.
Appointment at 930 am for routine physical. Showed up 20 minutes early at 910. Filled out required paperwork by 925.
Wasn't called back until after 10, and sat in room for 30 minutes waiting on doctor or NP for physical.

After 30 minutes a medical assistant came in to ask for additional information on a form. It is now an hour past my appointment time.

I did not end up leaving the facility until after 1100.

If I was on the clock and getting the appointment paid for by a company I probably wouldn't care. Not the best facility for personal medical care though.
Awful! Awful! Awful! Receptionist says 45min to 1 hour wait, it ended up being almost 4 hours and a huge waste of time. They weren't even that busy and people that came after me had already been seen and left. The doctor was fine no complaints, but the same can't be said about everyone else. Blows my mind how a place can be so inefficient. Wish I could have gone somewhere else but my insurance says this is the only place I'm covered. Funny because everytime I hear a politician against universal healthcare say it will take away the freedom of choice.
BEWARE - THIS IS THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER!! DO NOT PURCHASE MOLINA INSURANCE. Molina Insurance deserves a negative rating I/O 1 star. Please do your research and read other reviews- everything people are saying is accurate. Here is just a few things I have experienced:
1. CS is beyond TERRIBLE. The hold time to reach a rep is ridiculously long. More than once, I’ve been on hold for over an hour. I’m assuming their CS is not based in the USA (be prepared). We have all had experience w/foreign based CS centers and this is no different- possibly one of the worst. Reps that at (most) times can be hard to understand (and who in turn have trouble understanding you), repeatedly being asked for same information and yet they repeat said info. incorrectly, reps are not knowledgeable and don’t even seem to know how to find information. The list is long, but be prepared for the robotic, scripted, unfeeling, very repetitive, beyond frustrating conversations. And know that you will need to call back and go through the same thing w/another rep just to confirm what you have been told (if you actually got an answer to your question) because you CAN NOT TRUST you have been given correct/reliable info.
2. WEBSITE INFO. NOT ACCURATE - As stated by other reviewers, the list of Providers on their website is NOT accurate. MOST of the listed Providers I called DID NOT ACCEPT MOLINA. Some said they never did!!
3. VERY FEW PROVIDERS ACCEPT MOLINA INSURANCE
4. Billing - I honestly can’t speak on billing. But here is part of the problem - I have been unable to pursue further medical help do to lack of reliable information from CS and website and lack of providers who accept Molina Insurance. My billing has been basic PCP.
I strongly advise anyone NOT TO GET MOLINA INSURANCE.
I had a pleasant experience at the Metroplex Medical Centre downtown dallas site today. Nora & Daisy were amazing they took great care of me. The front desk staff were also great and i appreciate their assistance, wish I remembered their names as well!
If I could leave less then a one star, I would leave a negative 5 stars. I get charged for my monthly premium twice 2 months in a row. I get emails telling me that my autopay has been canceled with no other information, and now I get an email saying my coverage has been terminated due to member request. I NEVER ASKED TO CANCEL MY PLAN. When I try to call them and ask why this happened, I can not get past the freaking automated message that asks for my member id number. It just keeps saying "I am sorry, I did not understand. Please enter your member id number" over and over and over! It is frustrating!

DONT CHOOSE MOLINA EVER! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER CHOOSE THEM AGAIN
I was patient with them! It took 11 days to get back my lab samples results! I visited the clinic because I saw tapeworm in my stool. They took stool samples and they just printed white paper and reported negative results! Terrible clinic! Never again!
Terrible service. The preventive services should be 100% covered. However I still got many bills. I called multiple times, each call took a long waiting time and was referred to different places, and I need to repeat same information again and again, and nobody really solved the problem. So far, my well-visit bills from last year are still alive and are going to be forwarded to collection office. To mention that, my family doctor is in the network. Try your best to avoid this one. Very frustrated.
I scheduled an appointment online for a COVID TEST via their appointment scheduling soft wear; SOLV @ 11 PM. I was called the next morning @ 8:30 am to say that my noon time slot for my noon appointment that day was not available. I was offered a 3 pm slot. I arrived at 2:45 and waited until 5:45pm to be told that they ran out of Covid Tests. In my thinking, they could have told me that much earlier in the day just by counting the patients that were in their office and checking that against the number of available Covid Tests. I could tell that the receptionist was new by the lack of knowledge about : if my Medicare paid for the Covid Test, if I could see a P.A. and get a flu shot also and if I could get any medication form the P.A.for the awful cold I had. (Note: there was no MD on site). To answer these questions the receptionist had to call her Manager who was at another location. I was then asked to call my insurance company and check their benefits and was then told that the P.A. could not write any prescriptions for me. ( I needed an antibiotic, steroid shot and and inhaler according to their P.A.). Where was I supposed to go get my needed medications now?? I left VERY frustrated about their disorganization, the receptionists and managers knowledge of basic questions and the inability of the P.A. to provide care to me. I would NOT recommend going to the Plano location of Metroplex Medical Centre.
When I was in the hospital last fall, it was very difficult to speak to a real person at Molina. Even the hospital case manager had a difficult time communicating with Molina. It was a very frustrating experience for me. Even though I only had the insurance from 9/1/2021 through 12/31/2021, I was happy to find a different insurance in the Marketplace. Would not recommend it to anyone. For a few weeks, Molina put my account “on hold” because they said I was behind on paying my premium, so I paid another month to reinstate my insurance. In the beginning of January, I received a reimbursement for the extra payment I made.
So yesterday morning 1/18/22 I called to see if they were doing Covid testing and the lady I spoke to said yes they were till noon. Well I showed up about 845am and around 1015 a woman walked up to me and asked if I was there for Covid testing, i advised her my son needed to be tested as he’s been showing Covid symptoms. She then states that they were NOT doing testing and that I would have to return the following day. I said ma’am We’ve been waiting in line for over an hour now and when I called earlier I was advised that you guys were in fact doing Covid testing, she again said no not today. I asked why it’s not updated on the website, she didn’t give me an answer and just shrugged her shoulders. I then asked why they weren’t doing testing today and her response was exactly this “because it’s an inconvenience for us today”
I said wow that’s your reason? She never apologized and just walked away. The crazy part is 5 cars in front of me the person got tested, I witnessed and watched the whole thing! Very unprofessional for an office and person to treat a patient this way, especially during this horrible pandemic we are going thru!
Worst year of coverage. Enrolled in March, autopay, and received late notices. Re-signed up for auto pay 3 time in 5 months. Then asked for audit because I kept getting different balances. It took 5 MONTHS to get a review, never actually a debit/credit audit. My account was suspended several times during review. Their excuse of new billing system has been used for more than 5 years according to my pharmacy.
Stay away from MOLINA. Nothing but headache. And I have heard several similar accounts.
Did the video conference then had a covid test same day (within 1/2 hour). It all went smoothly. The doctor seemed quite knowledgeable. Would certainly use them again.
Update: Even though I am on Medicare, Pinnacle is still trying to charge me for the covid test. I called Medicare and they said they are not supposed to be charging me anything and not to pay the bill. It sounds like Pinnacle is doing a money grab!!
UPDATE: 1 MONTH LATER. Still NO phone call or e-mail response. Today in US mail I received a form letter stating my "grievance" was "under review". ALL I WANTED WAS A PHONE CALL OR E-MAIL AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR THAT. Seriously poor customer service. My coverage just started January 1 and I am already experiencing what numerous others here have said. Molina "assigned" a PCP to me and when I selected my actual PCP (from THEIR list) it said the choice would not be "effective" until February. What? Tried calling... horrible experience. Only part of website without glitches is payment center...gee, go figure. Wondering if any previous reviewers ever received follow-up after the formulaic response of "e-mail member services"?? UPDATE "We strive to take care of our members and want to help resolve your issue." E-mailed 12 days ago... NO RESPONSE.
Just spent an hour in line to get a Covid test done, only to be told that I had to pay $75. According to their website, they will bill the insurance whether you do the drive-up or get an appointment. The nurse told me that the only time they bill insurance is if I make an appointment and actually see the doctor. I am super disappointed as i have been exposed to someone that is positive and I have an immunocompromised wife at home. The earliest I can get an appointment is almost a week away. Call and ask questions before going here.
No doubt calling the general Molina Customer service line is a frustrating experience. Typically, you can wait 30-45 mins before reaching a live person. However, today, I was pleased to receive a call from
Melissa, in their grievance department. She was very pleasant and helpful. She said that she would deal with my issue, and then gave me her contact phone number and said that she would call me, when she finds the answer to my question. Well done. Good service. I still believe Molina needs to invest in better customer service, but I will give credit where credit due.
I went in to update the medical part of CDL and I was outta there in about an hour. The documents are digital as are the printouts, making for an smoother process. Thanks for bringing you're A-game to the table!
This place is the worst Medical facility I have ever been to. Medical attention is artificial and wait times are never 30 minutes, minimum wait for a urine test is 1 hr. And careful with the tatted red head at the front desk (bad hair dye) this person should not deal with patients at all. She is beyond rude and always angry, comes through as a mean malicious person . I spent two hours here with no medical attention just a vague consultation!! It's a dirty facility and and once again medical attention is artificial, bare, no real care for the patients in other words it's not really a medical facility it's a business that collects insurance money!!!! SAD!!!
