Everyone but lady at the admissions department was wonderful. She was rude, acted like she was mad at the world n hateful. She also broke protocol. I had to return to facility after being told that I didn't have approval from insurance. I went home, wife showed me confirmation of approval, went back to hospital, when showed the letter, she put identification bracelet on with out confirming name or birthday. Again, on this encounter she was rude, cold, confrontational.
Dr Matthew’s was so skilled and proficient in doing my debridement surgery on 12/7! The nursing staff was super-accommodating. The tended to my every need and let me know in word and deed that while I was there, I was their primary concern. I was apprehensive about receiving gas anesthesia , but the nurse who administered it assured me that all would be well. I breathed deeply before surgery and woke up quietly and fully conscious in recovery! What a beautiful experience! 5 stars to the staff who made this so enjoyable!!!!
I arrived for my appointments at 9:00 am. My apt at the lab was for 9:30 and ct @10:00. I stood at the front desk where you walk in door until 9:40. There were 2 women at the desk, one was working with someone. The other just watched her. She never acknowledged that I was there. I stood there 40 minutes. Finally I said something. Then I had to wait another 10 minutes before I got to the room where they ask you all the financial questions. I was late to both appointments. I showed up 30 minutes early. This is inexcusable.
I had never visited Jefferson Memorial before but had to go there for pre op tests as my orthopedic surgeon has scheduled me for surgery there. I was so nervous because not only had it been many years since I had surgery and I was a mess going in. As I walked through the front doors I was greeted by the ladies at the front desk. They cheerfully explained everything that I would be doing and calmed my nerves instantly. The ladies at the registration desk were amazing and I was guided to everywhere I needed to be. Everyone from the lab, x-ray and Craig who performed my ekg and explained things so well, were so amazing and calmed my fears. My surgical nurse Tammy was also amazing and answered my question and explained and reassured me that I was in great hands. I also received a call from nurse Kim who was so nice and reassuring and helpful. Each and every one of you all have no idea what you helped me through. I have been terrified for years putting off this surgery and walking into new territory. I am having a total knee replacement and I prayed for God to open doors and for reassurance and He gave me just that through the wonderful staff at Jefferson Memorial. Thank you so much and for also reassuring me that my doctor and his amazing staff (Rachael ) were just Amazing!!!
7 of the BEST DOCTORS I've ever had - and I've had a few - have been young and older VA doctors. Their commitment is exceptional.
My experience with the physical therapy services at this medical center was outstanding. The therapists were knowledgeable, attentive, and tailored the treatment plan to my specific needs, ensuring that I made progress with each session. The quality of care I received significantly contributed to my recovery, and I couldn't be more grateful for their expertise. Moreover, the value for the comprehensive and personalized therapy sessions was truly worth every penny. I would highly recommend this medical center to anyone in need of excellent physical therapy services.
Everything went pretty smoothly. I didn’t like that the doctor had three of us booked for a colonoscopy at the same time, so I had to wait about 3 1/2 hours. I was the last one. I was told to be at the hospital at 7 AM, and it was 1030 by the time they were rolling me back for the surgery. However, everyone from check in to the nurses, anesthesiologist and doctor were wonderful. Very informative and kind, and they took great care of me.
I am extremely happy with the care I receive at Jefferson Memorial. The staff is very kind, courteous, and caring. They make me feel comfortable and welcome. Plus I have never had a wait for a scheduled appt. Not used to this level of quality care and concern having moved to the area a little over a year ago from the Chicago area. They are wonderful!
I got absolutely no where after being released from the hospital Sunday, November 12, 2023. I went to the ER for a lot of pain which I knew I had pancreatitis. They did labs and a CT on me and told me my pancreas looked okay but it looked like I either had air pockets or a small bowel obstruction. Then they admitted me into the hospital for observation. After 24 hours the nurse practitioner said they would like to do an X-ray to make sure it wasn’t the cause but then released me saying I didn’t need an X-ray. I am still in pain and I have seen my MD. I would have liked to had a peace of mind about my small bowel instead of telling me that it could be the cause, admitting me and then telling me nothing and no further tests.
The entire staff was nice and friendly but I left worried and still in pain and that isn’t okay.
Dr. Leon Tan, MD Neurology, was very unprofessional and did not make us feel like we were getting any professional advice for what we came in for. His comments and remarks were unbelievable and left my wife very upset. It definitely felt like instead of him helping our issue we had to prove and convince him of our sons issue. Which he still didn't seem to believe. My wife left there without any recommendations or help for our sons condition. 0 stars but google recommends atleast 1.
My son just had ACL surgery and we were recommended NOT to take aspirin after surgery stating that individuals under 20 should not be taking aspirin, my child is huge one and to prevent blot clots at a low dose is fine two. Upper Chesapeake should consider who they are staffing and what their staffs education level actually is and what they inform the families. As a former CNA and medical assistant this definitely has me questioning the professional of the hospital. Besides the fact that they were confused on the insurance paper work. This place really should be shut down due to the lack of professionalism!
Our surgeon was great but ALL my experiences with Upper have been below par.
Besides the fact I know someone who almost lost his life over a blood clot from Upper Chesapeake.
I gave birth to both of my children here. The actual birthing experience is fine to great, that’s why the 2 stars. The recovering unit is terrible. I was promised all throughout my pregnancy I would be getting a single private room, by the time I was ready to give birth that floor was still well under way in construction. I absolutely hated sharing a room the first time, had I known I would again I wouldn’t have chosen valley medical. The whole concept of sharing a room with a stranger after something so intimate as giving birth is beyond me. I had given birth alone as my husband was with my daughter and we don’t have family here that could take care of her. So after I had given birth I really just wanted to see them and to see my daughter but they where denied from visiting me due to a 1 visitor rule, but my room mate was visited by husband, mother, mother in law, friend and then husband again and all in rotation constantly. But my toddler daughter and husband couldn’t come visit me once. I’m all for a rule but only if it is common sense. My neighbor had a total of 8 visits by people, and I couldn’t have 2 people come at once, does that make sense as to protect from covid if that’s the fear. When I expressed this to the nurse she said “it’s time your daughter learn she is no longer the only priority for you” delightful comfort.
Tried calling in to set up an appointment and the operator was rude. But other than that been trying to set up a neurology appointment for over a year now. They keep saying they are calling me, but I have not received any calls. Other VA departments never have a problem calling. But, overall this VA facility and department is one of the worst health facilities I have ever experienced. I would recommend just never even trying because it's like a 1/100 chance you'll be seen or even hear from someone. (Exclusive to only neurology department) Need to hire some new people who care for others
Five weeks ago I came to the Lighthouse medical center with a lot of pain in my feet and back. This pain impaired a lot of my activities, including my sleep. The neuropathy treatment did improved the quality of my life. Most of the activities that I wouldn’t even attempt before I’m able to do after a few short weeks. The treatment is amazing it works.

When Covid first came out we went here to get tested and received a bill from their lab service for over $900.00 I wrote the lab and said everyone else in Yuma is testing for free so I’m not paying this bill and I got a reply that said we’re sorry yo shouldn’t have been billed.
They do a great job at Lighthouse Medical Center. My neuropathy is significantly better after two weeks of treatment! I love that they do not use prescription drugs and everything is natural and modern in terms of treatment modalities. The staff is great and treats me like I am family. I really appreciate them. They helped with my knee pain as well, and that's not even what I came here for. You should really consider them for your nerve damage, neuropathy, or knee pain issues!
Went for follow-up MRI - chose Jefferson because their machine is bigger than my regular imaging hospital. Registration was quick, got taken back to get IV access done and was only in waiting area about 10 minutes when they took me back to MRI. Mike and Erica made me very comfortable in a situation that does cause me a little anxiety. There was a question on the order that caused a delay but Erica let me know what was going on. All in all it was a great experience with a bigger machine, a cool breeze blowing in the machine, and my choice of music in the earplugs! This is my 3rd time here and was definitely the best!!!
I came here for my nerve pain issues. The medical staff took their time with me and explained everything to me about what was wrong and how they would treat it. The staff here treats me like I am family and even set up Broward transportation services for me so that my family did not have to bring me to my appointments. Being an older retired grandmother, I try not to burden my family with having to take me everywhere. I am thankful to Lighthouse Medical Team for being helpful and taking good care of me. The Doctors, Nurses, and staff are top notch! Do not hesitate to call them for help with neuropathy or nerve pain issues. You will be happy you did.
I am currently being treated for Peripheral Neuropathy at Lighthouse Medical Center and have been extremely pleased with my experience. The facility is state of the art with all the necessary equipment for effective treatment. I find all the staff to be professional and courteous. As a Registered Nurse, I definitely feel comfortable recommending Lighthouse Medical Center.
I recently was hospitalized at UC and I'm grateful to them for their excellent care. From Er with Dr. Davis n team, Unit 1W nurses, drs, techs and staff were so gracious and kind. The Dialysis team Kim, Steve and Christina I am eternally grateful for taking time to figure out what treatment was best for me. The paramedics team that took me their are my heroes, they saved my life. I want to thank them. I pray God bless all of you , Davita, UC for helping me in my time of need. God bless everyone of you.
Absolutely an awful experience!! Took our 81-year-old mother there for chest pains. Said she had a heart attack. Kept her in there for 5 days. Didn't do a catheterization sent her home. Only to have her seen two weeks later by someone who actually
cared enough!! She had the catheterization done thanks to this doctor and found that she had 100% blockage in one artery and 70 - 80% in the other and had stents put in... Those doctors there, are only there for a paycheck. They don't care about the patients. They don't do what they need to do. How can you send someone home that you said had a heart attack who has the same pain they did that brought them there to begin with... HORRIBLE facility!!!
Worst ER experience of my life. I arrived roughly at 3AM with emergent abdominal pain. Took me 4 hours to be seen by an actual doctor and to receive pain medication. While this was going on, the entire nursing staff in the early morning was extremely rude to my wife and I. The blonde nurse (Morgan) kept yelling at my wife telling her that she is only one person and can do so much. I'm talking literal yelling while I'm in dire pain.

Finally, I get morphine and they do a CT scan and diagnose me with appendicitis. I get scheduled for surgery 5 hours later and arrive for surgery which went well. Late at night, a nurse who is responsible for checking in on me let me know that the hospital policy is that my wife has to leave as they don't allow spouses of of the opposite sex to stay the night. What kind of policy is that? I have WORKED at over half a dozen hospital systems and that is not the norm and is downright rude and disrespectful. You are all lucky that I am not suing this place. Would rate 0/5 stars if I could. If you are dying, don't come here.
This Hospital has corrupted Doctors like Dr Kelsey and R.N Romell Department EPS that work with the San Jose Police Department and neglected my 16 year old Son Autistic, developmental delay, Seizure disorder my Son was brought in By the San Jose Police Department due that he was in a psychiatric severe crisis that’s could’ve been preventable if the San Jose Police department would’ve help him instead they also neglect him and was taken to juvenile hall where doesn’t belong the Juvenal staff call me at 7:54 pm and told me that they reject my Son due to the crisis condition that he was and was sent to EPS to get a psychiatric Evaluation when they told be he was sent there I went there it took me 10 min to get there when I got there to witness that my Son was left alone in the car the corrupted police came out from the EPS it didn’t seem he was never taken of of the car to get evaluated plus a psychiatric evaluation doesn’t take 10-15 min and if would’ve gone evaluated he should’ve been place on a 51/50 due that he was making come from to hurt him self so he should’ve gone admitted to the EPS I have everything on a video and a police officer lying to me that my Son was inside the EPS unit when it wasn’t true because I witnessed my Son in the police car and I have a video where they lying to me so I know this doctor Kelsey shouldn’t be a Doctor we don’t need fake or clown Doctors caring for our kids our love ones is not far what my Son had to go through just because a stupid Dr, neglected to care treat my Son my Son was send to juvenile hall the staff there new he didn’t get the evaluation they don’t know what to do with him due to his mental crisis he was in he was there since 9pm 9/25/23 until the Morning I a Provation officer help him they new he wasn’t okay they Psychiatric Doctor from the juvenile hall place him on a 51/50 and was sent out to Valley medical center Emergency room to get medical evaluated and Psychiatric evaluation they admitted him. We’re terrified he didn’t have to go through all this now his here at the Pediatrics ICU.
Hopefully someone touches there heart and see and investigate so we make sure they revoked Dr Kelsey License.
Don't bother making an appointment, they'll get to you when they get to you...

Update: So they replied to my review as you can see stating "A clinic manager will be reaching out to you in the next two days so we can discuss your experience further." Yeah, that never happened so don't be fooled that their response indicates that it was a rare isolated incident. Historical this place is packed at least every time I've been in there (three times) and I've always had to wait an extended period of time despite having an appointment. Typical medical industry standards, profits over people...
If I could give this hospital zero stars, I would. Can't get a reasonable appointment for ANY department. No one answers the line, no one knows the correct transfer number, and don't even think about showing up to the emergency room. By the time you get seen, the doctor you want/need to see will be gone. Trust me everyone is there to just collect a check including the nurses/doctors. Veterans listen to me and listen well, Google some information and call around to see if you qualify for community care coverage and get with a civilian doctor asap! These people DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.
Thank you to the Manager, Brooke, for the quick and professional service. It’s so nice to be helped in such a positive manner. Grateful for this local medical facility! Will be back!
This place is truly a disgrace to the medical field. People should be able to go to the ER or wherever is need and be treated respectfully and with bedside manners. Whether they look like they have money or not. While waiting with a friend for over 3 hours, a nurse came to us and complain about our conversation being held, when we expressed our frustrations that she is here for abdominal pain and has not even been asked the level of pain, the nurse replied "Well, you can go back and wait in the waiting room?" That is completely disrespectful and we didn't see the nurse again. I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone and fear if I am in situation that requires a hospital visit that I may have to go there.
This was my first visit to a VA facility. After so much bad press about VA medical care, I was mentally prepared for a nightmare. Frankly, I was stunned by the friendly and helpful people, from the contractors controlling traffic and access, to the check in personnel, to the nurse and doctor. I came back a couple days later for a hearing assessment, and was again blown away, leading me to believe that customer service is a characteristic and not an accident. I wandered into the wrong location for the appointment, and a random employee asked if I needed help, then walked me all the way to the correct building and office. Usually when you go to a large facility, you run into someone who wants to make your day a little harder, but not at this Center. Even if navigating DC streets is challenging, this will remain my go-to VA facility.
Lighthouse Medical Center is top notch! They treat you like family and do not force prescription drugs down your throat. I received umbilical tissue injections for my neck and lumbar spine after years of pain and inflammation. I've had multiple surgeries on my neck and back. I am now able to fish on my boat and do the things I used to enjoy but were unable to do because of my stiffness and discomfort. Dr. Jason, John, Pham, and Liz have been phenomenal. They are very knowledgeable and professional. All questions and concerns were answered prior to any treatment being done. I felt comfortable and cared for during my treatments and therapy appointments. Its one of the best decisions of my life!
Never gave my medication tried to not give me my discharge papers, called my name for a urine sample and when I came up , someone there was getting frustrated with them but I didn’t say anything to the lady I just asked if she called my name she rolled her eyes at me and said “yeah, you can wait” which is like okay if some other patient is giving you an attitude what does that have to do with me? The doctor that saw me there left home and didn’t put down the antibiotics and other medication he said he was going to give me. It took them four hours to even give me Tylenol even though they told me at window #3 they next time I get called they were going to give me it but nope I had to keep asking until someone told me to go to window #9 for it.
After a wretched stomach virus from a bad salad I ended up taking my very first (and hopefully last) trip to the ER a few days ago. Although it was a frightening experience, I felt reasured that I would be taken care of well after speaking with PA-C Michael James Lewis. He has a calm and pleasant bedside manner and communicated well which was quite comforting in such a stressful situation. I cannot recall my nurses names, but all except for one were attentive and communicated well. I hope to never return to the ER, but if I need to I hope I'm lucky enough to be treated by Michael and those nurses again. I deducted a star because I was not told prior to discharge that I could receive a voucher for Lyft. Had I been told I could have avoided an hour wait for my friend to come from work to pick me up.
Terrible hospital. The Dr’s do not care about the patients, we were told lies as we were waiting regarding a referral being sent to hospice care. My grandmother was supposed to be leaving by ambulance at 5pm. They changed the time to 7pm, it is now 9pm. I finally go out to check with the secretary, as no one has come back to check on us and no one is around see what is going on and apparently the transport picked up the wrong patient, so we will be waiting who knows how much longer. They took the IV out of my grandmother, had her sit up on the edge of the bed to be ready and that was at 5pm. Not one person has come back to check in since 7pm. I have hit the nurse button 2 times now for help to sit her back in the bed and no one has responded. Do not recommend this ridiculous hospital…..side note: so many patients in the ER waiting room, while there were so many open rooms and nurses just hanging around.
Support staff don’t care about you and the doctors are so busy they don’t care either. Went in for a checkup because this is my primary care and the doctor straight up told me he didn’t have time for me if I didn’t have any pressing problems because he was late to a shift in the ER. When I *do* receive care it’s usually good care, but good luck actually getting any doctors attention or time to help.
I've been seeing Dr. Kuder (yes he has a PhD) since 2015. Today is August 2, 2023.

He did have bad clerical staff. That person was let go. Yes his CNA staff have to multitask now and then. Newly hired staff are better prepared.

I, as a client, am responsible for my body and my health. Dr. Kuder and I work carefully together on referrals, prescriptions and I am completely grateful for Dr. Kuder's bedside manor and staff. I might suggest when you have an appointment bring a calendar you can write on.
Honesty is their best policy. The staff and service here is great. The results exceeded my expectations for such a short period of time I am very pleased with the outcome of my results the staff went over and beyond to resolve my issues. Hopefully I would never have to do this again but if I did this would be my go-to spot they offer a variety of solutions for your overall issues. Best of all there is no pressure if you decide to wait.
It's a VA hospital. Not sure what else to expect at this point in dealing with the VA healthcare system. You have to fight super hard just to be seen and get the necessary care. And, if you are lucky enough to get seen, you need a specific follow-up appointment or you will not be seen again. Except for the dental clinic (which is horrible in all aspects of administration and care), the doctors, nurses, and lab techs are pretty good and some are even great. It's the administration, front desk employees, and dental clinic that make this facility (and other VA care centers) a nightmare sometimes. You need everyone who works at the VA to have a desire to serve veterans, not just some of the doctors. The doctor's attitudes mostly seem good and they seem willing to help veterans, but what good is that when the road to seeing an actual doctor is met with everyone else trying to get you out of the system and trying to deny us care or make sure we don't care that we veterans desperately need?
I have an extensive background in healthcare, healthcare administration, and referral management and from the outside in it really looks like the support staff at this facility are either overworked, under motivated, or under educated. It doesn't take 20 days to place a network referral. I shouldn't have to micro manage you via weekly phone calls to ensure my semi-acute referral is placed. Everyone is "in line" here. There is no triage when it comes to care beyond the facility.

You're at risk of miscarriage and need to see an OB for specialized care? You'll have to wait, I have 25 physical therapy referrals to write first.
The receptionist in office 210 has the worst customer service. First one, no one else, first time. Walk in say good morning, and she response with did you read the sign. The sign says fill out the form and wait to be called. Waited for 10min someone else comes in and they go straight to her and she signs them in. What! That was rude and inconsiderate, when she had seen us standing there. She talked to her like if she knew her. If they are playing favorites just make those people their appointments first. No reason for me to wake up early.
Cavier Thomas in the VA travel office did a fabulous job helping me with the travel arrangement. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was reimbursed for traveling from Maryland to the Washington DC VA. She took the initiative to herself to one was responsible for signing off on the travel voucher. She solved the problem and followed up with me days later with a notification phone call. Pay Raise immediately!!

I attended the emergency room on July 14, 2023. My experience dealing with the entire staff was nothing short of phenomenal. The emergency room staff to include the police officers, security, nurses, intake, and doctors were friendly, engaging, and informative of their procedures. Although the emergency room and urgent care was filled to capacity, the staff kept a positive attitude and continually informed the patients about what was happening with their care. Secondly, two pharmacists came to the emergency room on separate occasions to inform me personally about the status of my medication and how they could help me with my needs. It has been over 40 years since visiting the hospital with my Dad and the attitudes and work ethic is second to none. Kudos Washington, D.C. VA Medical Center.
I get to the VA. It had been some months since I had been to the VA, but I remembered being able to park fairly easily. Drove to the parking garage, it was packed to the brim. No parking available for anyone who needs the handicap access lane. Drove around the parking lots hoping to find something fast.

Mind you, I arrived to the VA 40 minutes before my appointment.

I finally gave up and asked one of the parking lot attendants where I could park where there is an access lane for my van's ramp. They said just take it to the valet. I had completely forgotten the valet parking was a thing here.

So I drove it up, and waited another 25 minutes to get parked. I'm already 5 minutes late for my appointment.

I get to the basement, then turn to my phone because Driving Rehabilitation is not marked, and GC210 isn't labelled either. There are no signs for either of these. I did not know that it was the same location as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

A nice lady saw me in the hallway, and asked me if I needed help, I said I'm trying to find driving rehabilitation. She said follow me that's my department. (pay attention to that bit)

SO I wait in line for another 10-minutes. Finally I make it to the window and the 'gentleman' behind the window says something confusing.... didn't quite get what he was saying at first.

He said "Hi, oh I tried to call you".
He doesn't have my name yet, or reason for my visit or know anything about me other than I'm an amputee in a wheelchair at first glance.
Me: "I'm here for driving rehabilitation".
Him: "Yes Sir I tried to call you to cancel your appointment (fires off name of person I'm supposed to see rapidly) won't be in . I tried to call you but you didn't answer."

Me: "Funny, the only call I've had from the VA is the one to confirm my appointment for today".
Him: -insert disingenuous apology so he can dismiss me so he can get to the next person in line-
Me: "OK then"
Him: "She should reach out to you in the next couple of weeks to reschedule when she's back in the office".

Thing is, I have no missed calls, no blocked calls, no texts, and no voicemails, and no emails from anyone from the VA, except the one call around 3PM 2 days before my appointment, which was the automated system asking me to confirm my appointment, which I did.

It seems to me that an OIG complaint is in order.

If I'm wrong about this, you can look me up by name and clear things up for me.
This clinic has been the best medical experience. The staff from front to back are thorough, caring, and knowledgeable. They enjoy their work and make the healing process something to look forward to. Rarely do you find a complete office of people that are cooperative and pleasant. I have a number of doctors and several I dread, but I am amazed at the clean, friendly, and experienced process that I encounter at The Lighthouse. I also am grateful for how they honor your time by staying on schedule and ensuring short wait times. I would recommend them to anyone suffering from nerve issues.
Everyone has been so friendly, helpful, and informative since my first visit. I had tingling in both feet and feelings of hot and cold sensations as if my feet were freezing and /or walking on hot coals. I had to wear socks to bed at night. In just two months of treatments, I already feel 90% improved. The office visit treatments have been relaxing and I look forward to my appointments.
My home treatments have been easy to follow and I find them enjoyable.
My review is not based on a personal visit to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Sadly, my brother passed away at the ER there. I wanted to offer my sincerest thanks to nurse "Jennifer" in the ER on the day of 6/27/23. I live in Florida and had to be notified of the horrific news by her. He did not die instantly and she remained in communication with me the entire time. His spouse, Kim, stated that if it had not been for nurse "Jennifer, " she would not have been able to stay vertical that day. Jennifer was the calm during a terrible storm. She showed compassion and was so thoughtful and steady. Please acknowledge and appreciate employees like her. Her job cannot be easy. Thank you Jennifer Becker
I always have an excellent experience when I go for my appointments and surgeries… I agree the ER can be though at times, with very long wait times, but my experiences with the ER in past few years have been quite good and attentive. The nurses and doctors take exceptional care of me. I feel very safe in their hands. My prime medical doctors are Dr. Jing Wang Chiang in gynecological oncology and Dr. Christopher Elliott, in urology….they are the best and I honestly love them. I would not go to any other specialized doctors except them. I have my life because of them…( no joke)—a good quality of life—and I am eternally grateful!!! These pics reflect my quality of life… I am a high-stage, chronic cancer patient and have lived longer than anyone expected! ❤️🙏🥹
Dr. Busseniers and her team provide an old school approach to a stress free environment in a medical office tucked away in the middle of Washington DC. She explains a procedure in layperson's terms and helps reduce the anxiety you might feel when referred to her office. She is also happy to chat about her horse and dog Charlie. I highly recommend her practice.

My first time at Fortuna Med Group was a 5 star. The support staff was really good and spent the time with me as needed. Steven Kuder also took the time to perform an initial work up on me and he was VERY thorough. I am a happy patient there.
They have the worst accounting system. They don’t bill your insurance for 2 years then say you owe the money. Then you pay with credit card and then they say you didn’t pay. The only reason there of business is Dr. Kooter other than that people wouldn’t come there.
Third terrible experience I’ve had in the ER at Santa Clara Valley Medical! It’s consistently filthy, triage nurses are short and rude and lack empathy’, it’s an epicenter for crackheads, and transients. That’s just the truth! Last night 09/14 the triage nurse nonchalantly told me that “this just happens and it’s kind of known for that”, when I complained about a male who clearly was under the influence of a drug of some sort and harassing people. I had to ask for security assistance 3 times before anyone took it seriously. I arrived at ER at 9pm and still had not seen a doctor at 5:30am 09/15. I checked in twice to inquire about an ETA to see the doctor and was directed to have my vitals retaken so that “they would know I’m still here”. I gave up and went home despite the discomfort I had felt in my chest/ which is usually a high priority at ALL hospitals! I actually felt better leaving, as the chaos of filth of the ER was draining and left me feeling yucky. I went back today 09/15 at 3pm, and saw a lady who had been there the same timeframe I previously was just leaving. Had I stayed, my total time there would have been from 9pm 09/14 - 3pm 09/15 which in my opinion is unacceptable given the reason I went. The staff doesn’t care and it’s obvious they are there for a check only, including security. There were a handful of staff that showed empathy and appeared to love what they do, however the overall experience each time is trash! The lack of awareness, empathy, cleanliness, and professionalism is beyond ridiculous! This place is a dump and caters to criminals, crackheads, and transients! Good luck if this is your only option! Their ER should be fined and OSHA definitely should get involved. So much contamination spread in the Livy due to their failure to clean properly. Sad terrible shameful! Never ever returning I don’t care if it’s the closet ER in range! I will drive further for cleanliness, and professionals that care!
I’ve had three FNAs here, and she is amazing. I had one at GT hospital which was a terrible experience.
It is nice place, very clean, it is for children only.
Very professional at what they do.
And yes they have wheel chair service.
UPDATE: The office manager came out to speak with us & explain the challenges the clinic is facing with COVID testing. Thank you very much for taking the extra time! Revised the star count.

Despite posted hours stating they open at 8 AM, drive-through COVID testing doesn't begin until 9 AM. Would have been nice to know that so the 5 cars sitting out here wouldn't have wasted an hour!
Unprofessional environment, almost like a call center turned outpatient facility. Unprofessional employees. If you were sent here by a lawyer, run, and find another one.
While I liked the doctor, his staff is extremely Unprofessional and rude. The first visit started out ok, until they took me into a little room to clean my wound. When I walked in, there was a surgical table with Sutures and gauze with blood all over it, just sitting there. The nurse then proceeds to grab a pack of gauze off that table, to use on me. I said, hey, That is not ok. She said , it is fine. No gloves either. Now, I am refused my meds, that keep me alive and breathing, because my truck is broke down and cant get to the office. I have been talked down to and met with nothing but attitude. Do not Recommend!!
Dr Kuder and most of the staff are amazing. Yes, the wait time is long but that is because they do not rush the patient care like an assembly line. They make you feel like family, loved and cared for. They remember you and your family. They were there for our family during our most difficult time and I wouldn’t trust mine, my husbands or my children’s care with anyone else. They all have a heart of gold and we are blessed to have found them.
First, this clinic doesn't have a doctor. Stephen Kuder is a Nurse Practioner, and a very good one. The office is only a little over a year old and it does need work. The staff has always been nice to me. The negatives are that you will spend at least two hours there each time. While Mr Kuder is very friendly and caring, he needs to be mindful of the folks who are waiting patiently to be seen, sometimes up to an hour.
Dr. Propper is an !!!INCREDIBLE!!! doctor one of a kind individual, his whole staff pretty much is !!!AWESOME!!!. My names David and I had the BMAC Procedure done with Dr. Propper and after living with EXTREME BACK PAIN for about 4yrs now all it took was 1 visit with this man and now my life has changed COMPLETELY. He takes his time to really figure out where your pain is coming from and elimanates it like a magician pretty much. I couldnt be any happier with his work and I HIGHLY recommend anybody and everybody to go see him if you have any pain anywhere in your body. I will GRATEFULLY thank this man for the rest of my life for REALLY CARING about his patients and focusing on eliminating the pain from beggening to end. I have 2 rods and 8 screws in my back from a bad accident from the past and I feel so great now I can actually do things with my son I never imagined I can do. Thank you sooooo much Dr. Propper for changing my life...
The most deceitful medical center I ever dealt with. They say they take your insurance and then want you to pay an exorbitant out of pocket bill. They are not In GHI network. I rather pay an attorney than pay them.
I have worked with Dr. Busseniers since 1990 when we were both working at Georgetown University Hospital. She directed the Endocrine Cytopathology conferences there and enthusiastically instructed us on the fine points of thyroid cytopathology. For the last 9 years, I have been lucky enough to in the same office as Dr. Busseniers. She provides on-site cytopathology readings so that the patients on whom I perform ultrasound guided aspirations can have the piece of mind of knowing that enough material was obtained. Often because of her expertise, I am even able to provide a preliminary diagnosis. Dr. Busseniers has an excellent grasp of cytopathology and is up-to-date on the latest molecular tests available. That combination makes her a great asset for the care of my patients. I highly recommend Dr. Busseniers as a resource for physicians performing fine needle biopsies who need someone with impeccable skills to interpret their specimens!
"I have been working with Dr. Anne Busseniers, from Metropolitan Fine Needle
Aspiration, for many years. Her professionalism, advanced skills, patient care,
and knowledge are truly exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend
her for all biopsies, including but certainly not limited to thyroid biopsies. Given her expertise and experience from performing over 1,000 procedures per year, I am sure you will be extremely satisfied with the immediate results and exceptional care that you are given."
