This was a short stop for us in Creemore; it was easy to find with some free residential street parking. It didn't cost anything but we only spent a few minutes there checking out the small jail house with three cells. I would recommend stopping by if you are visiting and in the neighborhood if you are interested.
Neat little place to see in Creemore. North America's smallest jail. Went on Saturday and was able to go inside the jail. There is a historic log house on the same property that has a story of its history.

Stopped here as part of our ladies day out riding with our all-female motorcycle group, WindSisters. Unfortunately, they were closed and we couldn't go in. 🫤
This jail is really quite small/cute! Don't allocate too much time if you are visiting Creemore - 30 minutes is all you need to walk through and take photos if you like. There is a library next door with lots of walking tour information if you are interested.
Creemore Jail is the smallest jail of North America. Creemore town is really beautiful and a great way to explore this on the way to the blue mountains if you are coming from toronto.
There is free roadside parking and a quick thing to visit this place.
There is small park beside this- its easy and you have a quick walk.
Rest its should and easy trip.

Neat jail. Claims to be the smallest jail in North America but I think the one in Port Dalhousie is smaller. Cute building with a bright red door. There is a history plaque just outside the building which gives you some information on the jail.
Wish it was open to the public so we could see what the cells are like. It’s located right beside another historical site the Creemore Log Cabin so you can see two historical buildings in one go.
