SUSHI HON

Good place, good sushi, 45 minutes past the time we were told to pick it up, but they were hospitable and very apologetic. Short staff, dining room was busy so takeout was tough for them. I’d order again.

Tried this place for the first time today and wasn’t disappointed. Really good quality rolls, and my crab salad was dope. Spring rolls were lit 🔥 Try it!!!!

Had a great dinner with the family! What a great selection to appease sushi and not sushi eaters alike. My absolute favourite thing was the seared butter fish sashimi.
Service was adequate but the restaurant was also very busy so they did the best they could.

Everything you’d expect but not more.

I think this place has the potential to be an outstanding jewel. Everything was fresh and good, but needs just a little push to make it a memorable dining experience.

It's good, but not amazing - I'm probably spoiled by all the amazing sushi in Toronto though. Objectively Sushi Hon was a nice experience and the sushi was decent quality. We went at 8:20 last night, and they close at 9PM, so we were very grateful that they welcomed us with open arms. The service was efficient (probably because they wanted us to hurry!) and the environment is very nice.

We ordered a sushi boat, sashimi platter, and a roll. Yes - we were hungry! I thought that the salmon sashimi was fresh and tasted great, but didn't like some of the others - for example, the white tuna and snapper. Those tasted a bit frozen. I also enjoyed the roll we got (something with scallop) which was good value for the price.

Overall I'd recommend Hon for sushi in Collingwood. I'd imagine you can do a lot worse.

Service was slow, ambiance was fair, we got a California roll and a mango roll shrimp tempura and shrimp tempura roll, the rolls were well constructed and everything tastes fresh and the mango roll was my favorite

A friend recommended this restaurant to me so my partner and I came here tonight for dinner and the sushi was incredible. Even the rolls that my partner ordered (that I thought I wouldn’t like), I actually loved! The New York roll was my favourite!! The mango was subtle but added a unique flavour. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful and the sushi is fresh and plated beautifully. The artwork and cherry blossom tree stole my heart. Can’t wait to come back for more! I’m already looking at the menu again to plan what to get next time. This is my new favourite sushi spot!!
