The food was absolutely delicious ! The place is kind of small and doesn’t look fancy but with what you will get, it’s absolute worth it. The prices are very reasonable, you have diner combo available for 2. The quantity were a bit too much for what I like to eat but I got a too go with the rest. Definitely a place you have to try if you are around !

A Delightful Fusion of Flavors at Thai Elephant Restaurant on Queen Street, Canada

My recent visit to Thai Elephant Restaurant on Queen Street in Canada left me absolutely thrilled, especially after trying their Curry Pad Thai. This hidden gem of a restaurant is a true haven for Thai cuisine enthusiasts like me, offering an array of authentic dishes that capture the essence of Thai flavors.

The Curry Pad Thai at Thai Elephant Restaurant is a delightful twist on the traditional Pad Thai dish. The combination of fragrant curry and the classic rice noodles creates a harmonious blend of flavors that truly tantalize the taste buds. The dish is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat, and the use of fresh ingredients is evident in every bite.

The presentation of the Curry Pad Thai was a visual delight as well. The vibrant colors of the vegetables, the succulent shrimp, and the aromatic curry sauce came together to create a stunning plate that made my mouth water before even taking a bite. Each ingredient was expertly cooked, ensuring that the flavors remained distinct yet melded beautifully.

The service at Thai Elephant Restaurant was exceptional. The staff members were welcoming, attentive, and eager to accommodate any special requests or dietary preferences. They took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations, which added to the overall enjoyable dining experience.

The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and tasteful decor that reflects Thai culture. Whether you're looking for a casual meal with friends or a romantic dinner for two, Thai Elephant Restaurant provides the perfect setting to enjoy their delectable cuisine.

In addition to their Curry Pad Thai, Thai Elephant Restaurant offers a wide selection of other Thai dishes that are equally outstanding. From their aromatic curries to their flavorful stir-fries, every item on the menu showcases the chef's expertise and passion for Thai cuisine.

If you're in the Queen Street area and craving authentic Thai flavors, I highly recommend visiting Thai Elephant Restaurant. Their Curry Pad Thai, along with their attentive service and inviting ambiance, will undoubtedly leave you with a memorable dining experience. Prepare yourself for a culinary journey that will transport your taste buds to the vibrant streets of Thailand!

Staff here is very friendly. I was craving for mango sticky rice so I ordered it and a tom yum soup aside. The tom yum soup is good, but I was a bit confused about the mango sticky rice 😭 they use mango which supposed to be in salad in my mango sticky rice!! Like, the rice and coconut sauce is good, but the mango was disappointing. Maybe I will try some other item in their menu next time then.

Always an amazing meal here... Great service, fast and friendly... Both dine-in and take-out are delicious!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff and owner who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with traditional Thai decor that added to the overall dining experience.

The menu was extensive, offering a wide range of dishes that cater to all tastes and preferences. I was pleased to see that the menu included vegetarian options, as well as a selection of gluten-free dishes. I decided to try the green curry and it was fantastic! The spices were perfectly balanced and the vegetables were cooked to perfection.

The service was top-notch, with my drinks constantly being refilled and my plates being promptly cleared. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. I also appreciated the restaurant's commitment to sustainability, with eco-friendly packaging used for takeout orders.

In conclusion, I had an excellent dining experience at the Thai Elephant Restaurant on Queen Street West in Toronto. Pretty dingy looking place but the food was great.
The shrimp crackers for appetizers are a huge portion and were tasty.
The Thai basil fried rice, curry pad Thai and the panang curry were all delicious.
We had the sticky mango rice for dessert and were really surprised by the size of the portion! It was a bit wierd with brown rice but tasted pretty good.
The place is a small hole in the wall but the food was surprisingly good.

We were craving for Thai food and it was late night and saw this place open and took a chance. Had no expectations of the food

The place does look a bit dingy (wish they could make it look more inviting) but you will be surprised by the food.

Firstly good portion sizes and value for money and the server was friendly and helpful.

We loved the green Thai curry with the rice and the pad Thai and the spring rolls and the tofu and the egg plants.
The restaurant made chilli oil was one of the best we have had to date. It was freshly made on the day we dined at the restaurant. (Not for the faint hearted 😄😄).

The menu seemed extensive. Drinks were limited. Desserts were about 5/6 on the menu.

They do take credit card.

Would def return.

Parking around the restaurant is next to impossible esp during peak hour and one may have to park a little further and walk down.

I did notice the restaurant had tons of orders for pick up so it surely must be popular with people living around this area and probably speaks about the food too!
