Ajanta Indian Restaurant

My partner and I love the food from this restaurant, we always get the food delivered. Tonight we tried their chicken Vindaloo for the first time. Although my partner is Indian and I grew up with spicy Indian food, we literally couldn’t eat the Vindaloo due to it being so RIDICULOUSLY HOT! I wouldn’t recommend anyone trying it. In saying that, all other dishes we’ve had from this restaurant were authentic and tasty.

Tonight I got takeaway from Uber eats I have had curry from this restaurant on many occasions tonight’s order was a butter chicken medium spice, lamb vindaloo , rice & nann , the butter chicken was not medium spice at all , my wife could not eat it , it was far to spicy , I’m a vindaloo lover and can handle spicy food but this was way too spicy to the point I felt sick eating it as my stomach was on fire , no taste but a spicy burn , I understand Vindaloo is a hot curry but this was silly , I suggest the chef learns how to monitor spice levels in his curry’s , waste of money and will not order from here again

Dined in on a Friday night, the service and food were fantastic, the fish tikka and Malabar prawn is a must try. Bitter chicken was a bit sweet than my liking, but the kids loved it. The butter and garlic naan was done extremely well.

First time visit and will definitely visit again and again!
Service was great, food was great! Lovely place, nice and clean also! The waiter was ontop of all the dishes and checked up to make sure everything was ok. Cant believe i have taken this long to eat at Ajanta but better late than never!

Ordered from Ajanta on uber eats many times and this was the first time in person. Ordered several naan to take home. Internal decor is a bit drab and the floors were sticky so wouldn't recommend dining in. Aside from that the food is always high quality, hot delicious and fresh. Best Indian food in all of Cranbourne. Highly recommended!

I never dine in here. However Ordered heaps of take away and every time the food was very good. The quality of the food and service didn't change with the time as per my experience. They also deliver to my home in Clyde North for very reasonable charge a while ago.

Lovely little place on our doorstep, the lamb bhuna never fails to deliver. Great staff, great service, amazing food. The aroma drifts around town and just sucks you in. Can't wait to return.
