Don’t know what’s happened
last year we would have given this place five stars. It was very very good arguable best dumplings on offer in melbourne region.
Now very average, filling a little dry, dumpling wrapper wasn’t cooked enough and was dry in parts. The only reason i gave them two stars was the chicken soup was Ok.
Also the place was a bit smelly and grotty
Disappointed

We ordered 2 main dishes and special rice takeaway. The total (in shop) was $63.30 but through uber eats the total was $82.... The $63.30 total is highly overpriced for the amount of food we received and the quality of the meal was well below average. For this kind of money I would be expecting fancy restaurant quality! Will not be ordering again since their prices are far too inflated for what it is!
(Ps. My partner ordered without me knowing the cost, if I knew I would have made her cancel it!)

My husband and I had lunch here. We enjoyed the dumpling dish. But the pork dish was very salty. The rice was very hard. The red bean pancake was not what we expected. We thought it should be pan fried, not deep fried. We probably won't come back. .

My family and I had been going here for years. In the last year or so we noticed the quality was not the same. We tried to give them another chance today…Today was the worst of it. The dumplings were so dry and chewy with hard pieces you couldn’t swallow… the fried rice tasted old - as if it was from the day before and tasteless. The honey chicken was so dry and didn’t look or taste like your standard honey chicken. The Shanghai noodles aren’t the same anymore either. I’m so sad that this place has gone down hill in terms of quality and taste but they put their prices up which makes no sense. I wish they would bring it back to how it was years ago. We won’t be coming back.

Really below average meals. The wonton soup was terrible had to drown it in vinegar to make it taste like anything, the dumplings are not flavourful at all and are really chewy. The fried pork buns came out still raw on the inside so they re-cooked a new plate for us but I wish I just asked for a refund cos the second plate was still terrible and inedible in my opinion. Way overpriced for the quality! My partner actually threw up everything he ate when we got home.

I ordered on Ubereats. I specifically asked for the wontons not to be overcooked. The order came 40mins later, overcooked with the soup. Shouldn’t it be common sense to separate the wontons to the soup? It was inedible! The Xiao long bao’s were terrible too! It wasn’t juicy and the meat tastes grainy! Wouldn’t recommend! You’re better off buying supermarket frozen dumplings. So disappointing. Sorry but not worth the money! Will never order from here again.
