We have enjoyed all levels of British Swim School. We have had a great experience with Sarah and Angie. Our 3 year old has had a great time at the Seahorse level and our almost 5 year old has worked her way through many levels all the way to Turtle 2. They are confident and safe in the water!
My 14 year old has never been a natural swimmer, but we've been coming here for 4.5 months now, and the progress is amazing! It's about survival in the water first, and technique second. They keep it light and work with the kids at their own pace. We've mostly been with Sarah and Pedro as teachers, and the classes are private or semi private. The teachers are all great and all have their own strengths. The price isn't crazy for Manhattan - like $65 for a 30 minute class.
We started with the British Swim School to improve our little one’s water survival skills and to help our older son with stroke development. They both love the lessons and have come on in leaps and bounds over the last few months. The teachers are super kind and make the lessons really fun for the kids at all levels. And Rollian is an incredible coordinator, super friendly and helpful with any and all questions. I would definitely recommend, especially if you can find times when the classes are small - the kids learn so much when it’s one or two per teacher.
We’ve been attending the British Swim School since our son was 6 months old. Working with Miss Paris as his favorite instructor he quickly excelled from tadpole to Swimboree and he’s almost a seahorse (just needs to work on his listening ears). We look forward to class every week knowing that he is in great hands with Paris and at the British Swim School.
The staff and instructors are wonderful. They do everything within their power to make the parents and the children feel comfortable.

Khai and I loved everything about the program! Starting with the location, it is always clean and safe /the staff is very friendly and helpful / the instructors are very knowledgeable and they are very sweet with the kids. I definitely felt comfortable leaving my baby in their hands and we will come back soon!! That’s for sure :) because of you Khai is not afraid to the water and she always enjoys the pool. Thank you for everything. See you soon!
Absolutely fantastic program with exceptional staff. My son has had other swim lessons before, but never responded as quickly as he did to his first lesson with British Swim School. Couch Devone has been a particular delight, patience of a saint with skills to match. He makes each lesson fun with an ability to progress skills efficiently. I couldn’t recommend them more!
