Wonderful museum, very educational with a wide variety of exhibits. We particularly loved the replica VOC ship that they have. This museum also has wonderful amenities for disabled guests, everything is accessible via lift, they have accessible toilets and even on the replica ship it is possible to access one of the decks via lift. It's also got a lovely gift shop and cafe. We had a wonderful afternoon here.

A very nice museum with an indoor and outdoor area. Once you enter the museum there is a big area in the middle where you can relax and have a coffee or start exploring the museum.

The indoor area features wings where one is mainly for kids with the Whale and Doris. Doris is a small indoor playground with ships and puzzles and more that kids can play with. A good place to take the kid to in between the exhibitions to make sure she doesn’t get bored.
The outdoor area features three ships where the VOC ship is definitely the highlight. Our 3yo did not get bored while walking around so we were happy bout that.

The temporary exhibition Food for Thought we had to skip through since it’s definitely not 3yo appropriate.

Beautiful experience. Very interesting. The ship outside Is very funny in particolar for young people. In the last floor there was a beautiful exposition on the food that i really appreciated. The Museum Is a bit confusing since some room are empty and sometimes Is difficult to understand the correct direction you have to take to enter in the "correct room". Very recommended!

Very interesting experience, building is amazing by itself. The large replica ship is fully accessible and many interesting artworks inside. Definitely worth a visit.
