Manzou Bakery

I love this bakery as their cakes are delicious but not too sweet. I ordered the strawberry shortcake in the "snowberries" style and our group loved it. The strawberries were fresh, the cake was soft and the cream had just the right amount of sweetness.

Service is great and straightforward. On another occasion, we had to cancel our cake for an event because of COVID-19 and they were understanding and gave us a full refund.

You need to order ahead of time but I did it a day in advance online and it was easy. Pick up spot is really random, but just follow Google Maps and you'll be fine.

I was able to place an order the day before. I got the black sesame cake. It was a hit, "not too sweet" as my family would say. The ultimate compliment from an Asian family! Pick up was easy. I would definitely return and try their other cakes. Perhaps I'll get their cake cups so sample the different flavours. Support your local bakery and check this place out! It's really fantastic!

tasty cakes and the cake cups are equally as good and a great alternative!!! the reviews are right when it says the cakes are not too sweet and light and airy! also GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! there was an issue where my card was charged twice for an order and the shop reached out to me before i even noticed. they issued a full refund right away after everything was cleared up. super happy with the service and the cakes

We got their 6” Black Sesame Cake. This Cake was SUPER pretty, the Daisies Design totally elevated the look of this Cake, it had Sponge Cake layers that were a bit on the dry side, but the Black Sesame Cream was RICH, had an amazing Black Sesame flavour, and silky smooth! Overall, still a delicious Black Sesame Cake that we enjoyed a lot!

Ordered a cake a while back and wanted to try manzou for so long!And so worth the wait too!

The strawberry cake was so beautifully presented with rosettes all over and the cream was light, airy and super smooth! And not too sweet either! They were definitely parent approved for that alone too!

Also had the 9 cake cups to try all the other flavours and every single one of them did. It disappoint!

Service was great! Ordered the cake online and no issues on picking up. Everything processed properly and efficiently! They also made the recommendations on how to store until being consumed, which is usually a given but always a nice touch!

Definitely recommend them for your next celebration!

We absolutely loved their black sesame cake! The cake was super fluffy and it wasn’t too sweet! My family really enjoyed it :)

Additionally, while some say the location is quite hidden, we didn’t have trouble finding the store at all! We followed google maps and was quickly able to locate the store because of their large white sign.

I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Manzou Bakery is one of the cutest bakeries around! Their cakes and cake cups are so cute and very flavourful, with just enough sweetness that doesn't overpower the palate. I strongly recommend their black sesame, as the flavour is very strong and pronounced, unlike other patisseries and bakeries. Definitely a hidden gem!
