I was really Happy with the raodbike and the support! Thanks to the friendly staff! That made my day!
Riding across the golden gate Bridge, to the viewpoint, to Sausalito and back, through the heights into downtown. Lots of fun!

Great bikes and service, but not being able to insure the bikes in a city like this (huge crime rate) sucks big time.
Our electric bike got snatched on Fisherman's wharf area, while locked with the provided lock. Got charged the full amount of the bike (helmets, lock and parts), with zero leniency. So resulted in expense bike trip, where rental fee wasn't even returned... come on, that's the least you can do.
Service by employees in making us being able to return to the shop, was awesome. But doesn’t make up for it.

The restaurant was closed for the season. The convenience store was open. The young lady there is really nice.
The men's bathroom near the parking lot was closed. The one at the restaurant location had a very bad odor. Old urine smell. It has not been cleaned well. Got a choking feeling when I entered. Whoever getting paid to keep it clean, should refund their fees .
The views are spectacular. National Airport was sooooo close. The airplanes were a sight to see landing and taking off. The Marina has wonderful decking platforms.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, had an electrical bike which lasted for a day the prices are Standard.
They provide helmets, also have drop-off locations to different areas.

It was a really great way to see Central Park, and for us the only practical way in half a day (the park is huge).
We were part of small group bike tour run by this shop. One guide and about 10 people on the bikes. The guide was good, enthusiastic, full of info and kept the group together.
The pace was good, took us over 2 hrs to circle most of the park with several stop places to take photos and get some information from the guide.
It did not go without glitches, broken bike and a small accident at the end which was no fault of the company. The park is full of people and you need to be careful and make sure that you know where you are going.
Overall, it was a great fun.

Used to rent a couple of bikes to cycle around Central Park, bikes were good and it was very close for pick up and drop off. Only disappointment was that there were no bike locks available (when the price included one) which meant we couldn't lock the bikes up and explore on foot, so we had to take the bikes with us, you would have thought they would have had a lock for every bike?

Enjoyed a great ride through the park. The bikes were ok and certainly well used, but we didn't have any issues. Location was conveniently located near South entrance of park. Got a great deal through Groupon. Only downside is bikes didn't come with locks which limited ability to get off and explore the inner trails where you can't ride. Overall a great experience.

Super fun! I went on a 2 hour horseback ride and loved it. Our guide April was personable, informative, and great. Was nervous at first but all staff made it inviting and fun. Definitely recommend it’s a must if you are in the area.

Fantastic adventure - if you like whitewater rafting and you just beginning this place is for you. They instruct you and take good care of you!

Friendly staff, reasonable prices and great bikes to cycle around San Francisco. Would highly recommend!

Yesterday we had a group of 20 on the river with whitewater challengers. Most of the group were first timers. A few of us are regulars yearly. This company has this system down to a science. The staff, the equipment, the knowledge, the environment are all top notch and it makes for an amazing experience. We highly recommend this company and look forward to the trip event!

This was such a great experience! It was my husbands 30th birthday and jay made our rafting trip so enjoyable and kept us updated on the history of the river, rocks, and terrain! Highly recommended!!!!

We booked the inflatable kayaks, and it was by far some of the most fun we’ve had in the area. I would 110% recommend that trip! Thank you so much to our four guides.Having such experienced and fun guides made the trip as exciting as it was. Awesome work guys, and thank you so much again for the best river day👍🏼

The staff really made the experience top notch. Vibrant, full of energy and cheesy dad-esque jokes, they really made everyone comfortable and at ease. Super helpful with answering any questions/concerns with professional knowledge. The rafting experience was amazing, beautiful views and exciting thrills traversing the whitewater rapids. Wife and I were very happy with the decision, my teenage daughter even admitted to enjoying the experience. That's a rare gem!

We had a great family day rafting on the Colorado River. Glenwood Adventure are a highly professional, exceptionally well organised, well equipped with kit for loan, hire and sale. We went on a Grade 2 route and for the afternoon the children (aged 8 & 10) went in 1 & 2- man "duckies" down the rapids. A fantastic experience! We saw 3 bald eagle, a mule deer on the river bank and plenty of turkey vultures overhead. An enthusiastic and engaging guide - thank you Claire!

My family and I had an absolutely fantastic two-hour horseback riding experience with our guide, Taylor. From the moment we started, it was clear that Taylor's expertise and passion for horses made the adventure even more enjoyable. Her friendly demeanor and clear instructions put everyone at ease, whether they were experienced riders or beginners like me. The ride itself was breathtaking, taking us through picturesque trails and beautiful landscapes.
Taylor's deep knowledge of the horses and the area added an educational element to the experience. She shared interesting tidbits about the local wildlife, history, and horsemanship techniques, making the ride not only entertaining but also informative. Her ability to connect with the horses was truly remarkable, ensuring they were comfortable and well-cared for throughout the journey.
I couldn't help but be impressed by Taylor's professionalism and dedication. Her enthusiasm was infectious, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the ride. She was patient, answering questions and providing assistance whenever needed. It's evident that she genuinely loves what she does and is committed to making the experience unforgettable for each participant.
Thank you again to Taylor! Her exceptional guidance, combined with the stunning surroundings, made for an incredible adventure that I won't soon forget. This experience truly exceeded my expectations, thanks to Taylor's expertise and genuine warmth.

Easy process to rent a few bikes. Most staff very friendly, others a bit aloof.
Cashier was pressuring me to sign a contract but i wanted to read it first! Online (groupon) price honoured when asked, so only paid $36 to have 3 bikes for 4 hours.
Cycling round Central Park was easy from here as its so close. It was great fun.
Bikes were generally in good condition, not perfect but fine for casual riding. See photos - rear tyre on one bike has seen better days. Still did a fair job trying to keep up with lycra-clad people on super fast racing bikes though.
Note that they keep your ID as a deposit.

We chose to raft with Blue Sky in Glenwood Springs after searching for a good option for our 5yo. Great decision! We had a wonderful time with Marty guiding us down the river. She was wonderful with the 4 kids on the raft, calming their fears, telling river stories upon request lol and even adding in a few fun raft turns per kiddo request. It was so fun and we will definitely be back and hope to raft with Marty again!

Took the Razor ATV tour this morning with Eric. Absolutely fantastic tour! The equipment, the experience, and the tour guide were superb..additionally the ranch is gorgeous, as you travel from the Colorado River level up to the treeline you experience different terrains and gorgeous scenery. Highly recommend.

This was easy and quick to purchase. The staff was super friendly and quick. The bikes were comfortable. I'd surely recommend them.

The staff was so inviting and friendly. Bikes were perfect for our trip to Sausalito over the Golden Gate Bridge. Location is a nice distance from the bridge too. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Outstanding staff and equipment. Scooters were incredible like surfing in the city. Best part of me and my daughters and NYC vacation.
Claudia was phenomenal, super nice and friendly knew everything we needed to know and places to ride. Ask for her and definitely go with blue rental Central Park. I will be doing again tomorrow.
Efficient and high quality.

We had the BEST time! Our guide Gabbie was so knowledgeable of the river, gave us interesting facts and fun ideas to do in town. I called ahead because I was worried about rain. They were so great and put us on an earlier trip. So accommodating! You will not be disappointed.

We did the 2-hour central park bike tour and Sergio was our guide. He was probably one of the best, if not the best tour guides we've ever had on a tour. He gave great details, was engaging, and we had fun. It was HOT that day but he combined biking with breaks and it made it go so smooth. It was myself and my kids (teens). Highly recommend.

My kids and I had an amazing experience with Blue Sky Adventures. We went white water rafting and Tonto and was our guide and fellow adventurer. He was the best we could have gotten. He calmed my daughters fears with his really funny and hilarious jokes…. “scouts honor”! Hahaha
We highly recommend them for any future adventures!

A first float for much of our family did not disappoint. We felt safe the entire float, and it was a hilight to this long over-due and much needed family time. We were a group of 8 ranging in age from 8 to 64. Our guide was engaging, fun, and happy, which was a big plus. We selected a scenic and gentle float and saw numerous bald eagle, osprey, and other various bird life. We relaxed and "soaked in" the beautiful scenery. There were several short class 2 rapids, just enough to add some safe excitement. We also engaged in splash wars with other rafters (from this same company).. which was really so much fun. We highly recommend this company for their dedication to safety, a well rehearsed process, and an obvious priority to assuring that their clients have a really great experience.

Such a great, fun adventure. Everyone was very nice. Definitely pay attention to the instructions before getting in the raft because you may need to apply them. And bring a watergun or purchase one at their store. Have fun!

I was very happy with the service, the staff was very nice, they picked me the perfect bike and showed me where to go, I recommend this bike rental to everyone.

Fantastic service, the employees are very friendly and very helpful. if you want to rent equipment I recommend this place

We decided to go white water rafting last minute before leaving town and they were great about getting us on a boat last minute. Our guide Maddie was awesome! The rapids were so much fun! Will definitely come back here next time we are visiting Glenwood Springs.

After carefully reviewing a large amount of rafting companies, I decided on Blue Sky Rafting, due to reviews and pricing. We drove from Denver to Glenwood Springs and ran into an accident which had traffic at a standstill, so I called to notify them that we would possible make it around 11:45, I was told that that it's okay, they would figure something out if I don't arrive on time. Thanks for the assurance. We got there at good time and process was very easy. Jay was our Captain and he was very knowledgeable and experienced. Let's say this was a very enjoyable 56th birthday birthday bucket list check off for me.

The TopView hop on hop off bus package comes with a 2h extension to any reg bike rental (excl. e-bikes and e-scooters), and got 3 hrs for just $15 per bike as a result. Helmets are free of charge. Pretty fun riding around Central Park and Columbia U. True the bikes are not in top notch conditions. But for that price, I have no complaints. Most importantly, not a scam at all.

Excellent way to see the town and then some. The shop will quickly and easily fix you up with what you need to get you on your way on an E bike. Jessica in particular delivered excellent customer service.
Its worth taking the ride up to Carbondale (12 mi each way) (stop at Whitehouse Pizza, you wont be disappointed) passing beautiful and diverse scenery along the very well maintained bike trail. You don't have to be back by close of business as they have after hours drop off too!

We had a wonderful time at Whitewater Challengers.
We were a group of 18 people and we camped for 2 days here. First day we went for rafting (Premier whitewater rafting)
Rafting - it was a nearly 4 hour rafting in total. You will be instructed by instructors before the rafting begins. A group of around 80 folks are sent in one go with around 4 guides/experts to watch you along your journey. Each raft will have 5-6 people onboard. It is all safe, you may fall etc but there is nothing to be worried about. I saw kids of 8years doing rafting here. A few of the rapids were crazy but it’s all fun. You will be asked to stop mid-way during your rafting trip for lunch. Get yourself some quick snacks. You will be provided with buckets on each raft to put in your food, water and cell phones.
There is a camera somewhere towards the end if rafting, ask your guide to tell you where it is so that you can pose and buy the photos later from the store.
Pro Tip - make sure you wear water shoes and proper clothes upfront to save time. You get everything in the shop too but obviously it’s all expensive. I got my water-shoes from Walmart in around $9. Comply with Dress-Code or else you will be asked to wait in queue to rent/buy stuff from there. Save time.
Camping - Kindly note that you can only camp here if you do rafting with them. However, once you have done rafting you can stay here for multiple nights. Tents are also provided on rent ($10 per person) but I would recommend to get your own tent. The rented tents were dusty inside. Camping experience was fun. You have a big main shower area and multiple restrooms towards the entrance which were clean enough to use. Towards the center, there is another bio- restroom which is kind of OKish for emergencies;)
In our group of 18 people only 13 were rafting. So not everyone in the group should raft but majority should do.
Shops and Food - At the entrance there is store which has almost everything that you could need. Example - tent, sleeping bags, water clothes, water shoes, firewood etc
You also get food here during normal hours. I have attached the photograph of menu which should help you.
Good luck and have a wonderful time here
You will love it ❤️

Our family reunion group of 16 had a wonderful day on the Lehigh River with Whitewater Challengers on June 28! Our group ranged in age from 5 to 71, so the gentle introduction to whitewater worked great for us. Everyone had a good time, and most did some swimming in the slack water. The guides were terrific--really going above and beyond with us!

Really efficient check in/out service and really friendly staff. Great location for easy acces to bridge without having to navigate to much city traffic. The bikes could have been better serviced. The gears of one bike didn't work properly and the brakes of another where so squeaky that it became very annoying during the ride.

We had a wonderful time rafting today. Our guide Sage was above the top. He knew a lot and kept the ride interesting. Next time I'm in the area we will be going again

Tommy was super helpful and gave us directions and tips for our ride over the Bridge to Sausalito. We rode all over the water front and took the ferry back.

Loved it! We rented electric bikes and toured all over San Francisco and rode across the Golden Gate Bridge. The bikes worked great, the equipment was good, battery lasted all day. We were so glad we got the electric ones with all the hills around. Highly recommended!

Easy to find bike shop. Easy to follow directions to Golden Gate Bridge. Friendly staff. The only minor problem is that the bike I rented kept slipping out of the lowest gear. There are steep sections in the ride. When you are in the steep section and your bike slips out of a low gear into a higher gear constantly it makes the ride incredibly difficult.

Great place to slip a sailboat if you have one. Otherwise, you can rent one, take lessons, picnic, or just enjoy the view of the monuments or the planes land at Reagan Airport. The restaurant is closed. This place is jammed early for Ju4 fireworks.

I don’t leave reviews often, but felt it important to call out (in the most positive way) this company. My family and I rented some bikes and were shuttled to our destination. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and were made to feel very comfortable. Cannot say enough good things about everyone we encountered, in particular Chris, who shuttled us to our drop off point. He gave us tidbits on areas we would encounter, the town we would be passing through, and hit a home run with his lunch recommendation. This was a highlight of our trip. Thanks guys!

What a great experience! Super friendly and kind with a great merch selection. We were walk-ins and they had plenty of selection available; we were out the door in no time. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We rented at the Fisherman Wharf location. The 2 guys working there on June 9 were so friendly. They made sure to ask everyone where they were going and give them directions. We were headed out to Angel's Island so they gave us a like emergency bike kit (we didn't need it on our ride but it was a very nice touch that they provided it). I was surprised at the variety of bike sizes they had. We rented the specialized and they gave me an XXS frame which is great being 5'2. A lot time when we rent bikes other places are like a M is a one size fits all right? It was a short 10 min bike ride over to the ferry building a mixture on road bike lane and shared pathway. We rented from Fisherman Wharf over the Ferry Building because there were more bike options here. Highly recommend renting from them, reserve online and you get a discount too.

Our rafting trip was super enjoyable! Our guide, Maggie, was outstanding! A great conversationalist and very knowledgeable about the local area! The rafting trip we took was absolutely beautiful! The only issue we encountered was since the water was too high on one of the rafting trips we were interested in, the front desk staff offered an alternative trip which sadly didn’t seem to have as much action we thought we would be getting on the route we wanted. That being said, the rafting trip we took was still great!

An Unforgettable Rafting Adventure with Glenwood Adventure Company
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of going on a thrilling rafting trip with Glenwood Adventure Company along with a group of 8 enthusiastic members. It was our first time experiencing the joy of rafting, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations, leaving us with unforgettable memories.

The Marian truly stands out as a hidden gem, boasting a breathtaking view of the majestic Potomac River and an atmosphere that exudes tranquility. Its serene ambiance instantly puts you at ease. What sets this place apart is the unique opportunity it provides to witness the graceful landing and taking off of planes from the nearby DCA airport, adding a touch of excitement to the experience.

The whitewater rafting part of this business was fine. Their rental wetsuits weren't too nasty, and the supplied lifejackets were okay. The rafts were normal rafts and were in good shape. They use school busses to drive people to the boat launch and to return people from the river at the end. The river guides were good enough and seemed to like their jobs.
The downside is some of the campground facilities. (*EDITED to reflect bathroom info*) The bathroom that was closest to our campsite was a nasty smelling open pit latrine which has individual rooms over it. It really needed to be pumped out! There was a smaller bathroom which had normal plumbing over by the showers, but it was pretty gross too. And the ownership responded to my review saying there's another real bathroom somewhere, so hopefully that one was better. The shower building had four sinks out front with a single tap (which stops running in like five seconds) with warm water. (*EDITED to explain more*) I understand the water saving features of these types of faucets, but these shut off WAY too soon, making it tough to even wash your hands. Also, the automatic paper towel dispenser jammed on Saturday morning, and didn't work the rest of the weekend. (*EDITED this part with more info*) The showers themselves had extremely hot water that was way too hot for me. They had super atomizing water saving showerheads located about ten feet in the air, operated with a momentary operating pull-cord which is great for saving water. But the super-atomizing shower head put out such little water, that it was tough to wash the soap off of myself, as the volume of water was so low, and it felt like I was burning myself whenever the water was on for more than a few seconds.... And there were no shower curtains, so it was possible for your dry gear to get wet. I had hung my stuff on the hooks by the door and my stuff stayed dry, but a fellow camper with me said that he did the same but all of his stuff got wet due to the way that the shower head in his shower was aimed.
The campsites were okay, and there were tons of trash cans around which weren't full. Good job there. We had picnic tables and a fire ring at our large site (sites 10 A, B, C). There was also water available at several locations which helped make camping easier. They had extra events in the evening, including an ice cream truck and live music. Fun activities for campers.
So to summarize, good whitewater rafting, poor restrooms, mediocre bath/shower facilities, and decent camp grounds with fun activities.

Pretty pricey for bad bikes. The bikes were very hard (exhaustive) to drive and in a bad shape. The bell was not working and used. The grips were sticky and beyond used. And the staff was not friendly. All in all not a nice experience and we regret the rental.

Yea they gave u a discount price for E-bike; but when it comes to returning the bike, they would say the price was for regular bike. You would be forced to pay the “full price” in the end to get your ID back. Highly recommended for people who want to be SCAMMED! Many thanks!!

Boat rentals, lessons, and tours are available here. It's also a great location for plane spotting from DCA.
Not much motorboating going on here, mostly just sailboats and kayaking. Check out their website for lessons and rentals.

Nice and easy pick up of the bikes for my family and I. They made sure our bikes were fitted for us and had good quality helmets.

Great experience! Renting a bike was quick and easy. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We rented the e-bikes for the day and it was perfect! The staff recommended the Rio Grand Trail to Carbondale. We loved it and the bikes were amazing! My wife and I highly recommend GLENWOOD CANYON BIKES!

Great experience! Mike and Morgan were very friendly and helpful. They told us about the best route to cross the Golden gate and the points of interest. They advised that we returned with the ferry from Sausalito which was a perfect plan.
We took our bikes at the fisherman location and it is a very nice starting point.

We hired two e-bikes and made it all the way to Tiburon and back to downtown via the ferry with plenty of battery to spare. The guys setting up the bikes were excellent and accommodated finding the right size and model for us. A highlight of our visit to SF!

Highly recommend renting a bike and cycling across golden Gate Bridge!
I reserved bikes online (got a discount for doing so), pick up was easy (one form to sign) and staff were friendly and helpful.
The city bikes are very basic. It took a bit of getting used to the gears. There is no suspension and absolutely no cushioning on the seats.
The route across to golden Gate Bridge includes some decent hills and the Bridge itself is not flat, towards the end of the ride it became quite uncomfortable for me on the solid seat and even worse for my parter!
Perhaps the more expensive bikes would have better/more comfortable seats.

Very fun to ride around the city and so much more convenient than the bus! Getting the bikes took no time at all and the staff were friendly and helpful. First day we rode through presidio park to Marshalls Beach, Ocean Beach, Golden Gate Park and the famous wiggle to the mission. We called to extend our reservation which was super quick and easy to do and the next day rode across Golden Gate Bridge to the Marin headlands. The bikes were perfect for the riding we wanted to do and fit well. Returning was quick and easy. I’d recommend getting a city hybrid bike as they have a larger gear range for the hills.

This was a fun experience. The only bad part was timing. We had somewhere to be at 3:30. I bought 3 ferry tickets, but should have asked for the schedule in advance. We also didn't ask where the ferry station was. We got a bit lost and had to ride back b/c once we found the place, it was a while before it left and we wouldn't make it. Crossing the Golden Gate was a bit nerve wracking. Overall, I did enjoy it, but could've saved money if I had planned better. Also, it was about a 12 mile bike ride there and back. Energy, fitness and strength wise I was fine. I discovered there are bones in my butt that a week later still hurt. Fair warning.

We had the best time. We went over the golden gate. So glad we rented the e-bikes. Those hills can get pretty steep. The sites are beautiful.

Lovely shop, wonderful people, very willing to help us plan our bike ride. There are a ton of bike rental places, but to find one right on the wharf with super helpful people, this is your place! We rode across the bridge over to Sausalito, and fair warning it’s a lot of uphill, but totally worth it! I wish we would’ve been able to spend more time in Sausalito. The ferry ride back was cool too!

Have to say this was one of the best experiences we had during our stay in New York.
Our guide Dan was absolutely fantastic, not only did he get everyone involved across the multiple nationalities of our group, but he was also very funny, warm, approachable and professional. His knowledge about the park was brilliant. The tour was a nice pace and kept with the group. The bikes and equipment where all top notice as well. 5 🌟 review and very much deserved. Happy birthday Dan.

With the new york pass, a bike tour with normal - non electric- bikes. We loved the tour hosted by Dan (the man!) he told a lot with a funny twist with cool local music for everyone in the tour. Bikes where OK.

My dad and I had a great time on the half day mild raft adventure. It was a relaxing trip and the scenery was epic. Hannah was a fantastic guide (much better than Emily!). She told us and the others interesting facts about the area and stopped at a cool hot spring along the way. I definitely recommend and will be taking another trip with Blue Sky if I am ever back in Glenwood Springs.
Disclaimer: Don't actually know if there is an Emily that works here---if so, sorry, I'm sure you're a fantastic guide as well. We were told to blame you if we had a bad time :)

Great place to spend an afternoon by the water. Food and drinks available or bring your own for a picnic.

Bikes worked but not great. Did a tour of central park. It was supposed to be a small group for but there were 11 in the group. Tour guide was knowledgeable but not personable at all. Guide also was not conscentious of slower people and traffic that he could cross but others could not. It made it dangerous. Also not kid friendly or interesting for kids.

Rented bikes using the website. The online booking portal was quick and very easy to use. We picked our bikes up and had a great day. All of the employees were really helpful and gave us some great recommendations for places to check out in the city!

Great customer service!Gavin-mentioned Happy Birthday to my son since my sister arranged the bike rental for his birthday. Gavin located our homeland flags which was impressive and added the stickers on each bike . The hybrid bikes worked out well. We started of at the Golden Gate park location. I recommend you enjoy riding through the park on the way to the Golden Gate Bridge.

As tourists, it was our first time renting bikes in the area and the staff were super patient in explaining everything (how the rental works, which routes we could take) to me and my husband. Chris took time to make sure we're good before we left, which was really assuring and comforting!! The bikes are also very smooth to ride on. It turned out to be one of our best days in the Bay Area or even our entire US trip. Highly recommended!! :D

My sister and I came on the first of april. We rent two bikes and paid for it at your shop but then we realized that it was including in the Go City Pass. So we asked Priscillia if she could do anything for a refund. She called her manager and then told us it was ok for a refund. She asked my sister to put her credit card on the terminal again to get our money back. We still don't have received the refund. I am VERY DESAPOINTED because at the shop Priscillia told us it was Okay. Moreavor, as we told us it was ok for the refund, she scanned our pass so now WE LOST ONE ACTIVITY of our pass + WE LOST 50$.

Went today to rent a bike. 2+hrs to get a bike. Super unorganized and huge delays. Half the staff didn’t know what was going on. On top of that they wanted to charge be $40 late fees when two of the hours were due to their delays in getting us bikes. Kudos to the two guys distributing bikes (Spanish guy and older guy) that were doing the best with what they had, but the rest of the staff were lost and had no idea what was going on. The helmet I received was extremely dirty, sweaty and gross. They had no locks and all their baskets were broken. Beware!

A beautiful marina and lots of beautiful boats and yachts right next to the Indigo landing restaurant. We caught a big catfish here. Haven’t been to the restaurant since the pandemic. Their food was pretty good when I visited. Need to visit again.

We rented 3 bikes and none of them were any good. The bike I was given, the drivechain would make a creaking noise every time I'd go uphill. My wife's bike wouldn't stay in the middle gear on the front ring, and would only use either the biggest or smallest ring. My son's bike started making clicking noises an hour into our ride.
When they first gave us our bikes, on both mine and my son's bike the brakes were rubbing one of the wheels. While they did fix them both; they didn't realize the brakes were rubbing until I told them, which indicates they don't do regular maintenance checks. This also makes me think that, if I hadn't complained about the gearing on my wife's bike, the next person to rent that bike would have the same problem.
Several of the helmets they first gave us had broken adjusters. This was easy to notice and they brought replacements before we departed the store, but this again calls into question their general maintenance/quality check process.
When we were returning our bikes, another couple were returning their bikes and reported that a pedal fell off one of their bikes.

Great views and plenty of shade, check out little store with snacks and 🍺 beer.

Near Reagan Airport. So you get to see planes arrive & depart. Also visible is a view of D.C., Capitol building and Washington Monument. Nice place to get a shot of nature and relax. I arrived by bicycle. But, parking is free for non- boaters. Boat shop & bathrooms are open.

Barish and Darryl were absolutely awesome. I bought a used hybrid bike from here. Barish let me ride the bike for the day to “test drive” it before I bought it. A week later, I had some self-imposed issues with the bike and they fixed it no problem. In addition, they fixed the brakes and adjusted the seat on my daughter’s bike free of charge. Excellent customer service! Great guys! Highly recommend this place

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Canyon Bikes!
I was looking to buy a bike in the "offseason" as I was going to be living in Carbondale for a few months and Canyon Bikes came to the rescue. Their staff and the owner were both incredibly helpful, responsive, and knowledgable about which of their bikes might work for me, and they set me up on a great Giant! The owner even called around to other shops to other bike shops to find the pedals I was looking for when they didn't have any left.
Furthermore, the owner went above and beyond to drop off a part for the seatpost where I was staying in the valley as their shop was closed. I am floored by the generosity and helpfulness that was demonstrated!

These guys are easy to rent from and we're fast moving people through. For sure get the all day. 2 hours isn't enough time to see the park and stop and enjoy things. They have bikes with baskets for stuff and include a bike lock. They have a number to call if you need help while you are out. Great way to see the park.

We made a mistake with the reservation... (We ordered two more bikes on a group of 7 people) They did not refund us. Their politics are to give a credit -what we did not needed-. We don't like this customer politics. And also the guys outside, they check each bike as if you had stole something...

We've spent 3 days in Glenwood Springs and these folks made our vacation unforgettable. They made us a full package RAFT+PARK+POOL+Hanging Lake by bike at a very good price. We had everything scheduled in few minutes and all adventures were simply amazing. Great stuff, young, punctual, professional and full of energy and fun! Thank you folks! You are great!

We chose this company because of the reviews, however unfortunately it didn’t quite deliver for us and was a shame since it was our first time in NY. The actual shop is quite far from the park so not great if you can’t cycle NY roads. Our bikes weren’t the best, very worn out and one of the bikes the chain came off when changing gears. It took us time to fix this which eat into out 2 hour slot. When returning the bikes we were told that they have a helpline were they would come and fix issues but we were not told this. Although the Turkish owner was front and apologetic it did spoil our visit to central park.

Went for a 2.5 hour ride to The Golden Gate Bridge from their location in Fishermans Wharf! Very easy to do thanks to their map and tips! Fair price and great service!

I led a school party here in July. It was our first morning, we were running late and we needed 35 bikes. But the guys were great. They were relaxed about our time keeping and had everything ready when we arrived. The bikes were ideal. It made for a fantastic introduction to NY. Thank you. Strongly recommended.

I was visiting New York City from D.C for a few hours and decided to rent a bike around Central Park with one of my friends from there. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! The staff was awesome and super efficient in getting us the bikes. The park was beautiful and it took us around 3 hours to go around. We ended up taking the day pass and it was worth it because we stayed out and went to the Hudson River with them. The bikes are all in amazing condition and they gave us locks and baskets which were really helpful!

Central Park Sightseeing is a one stop shop for all of your Central Park activity needs. They have the best bikes you can rent in the entire city. They have new Cannondale bikes the are sleek and lightweight, unlike the ones that you get when you rent one of the City Bikes that are kinda heavy and clunky. There’s definitely a huge difference so if you’re planning on biking a lot or want to take one of the tours, opt for theirs because it’s much more enjoyable. You can also get a basket attached to the front of your bike to put your belongings at no extra charge.
Last time I was in NYC, two of my friends and I decided to take a private pedicab tour around Central Park with one of their guides, Chengo. He is by far the most knowledgeable tour guide I’ve had and he’s such a funny, delightful person. He brought us to some amazing hidden gems off the beaten path in the park that were great photo opportunities! He has some really cool ideas and is great about helping you capture those special moments. You won’t regret choosing him and this type of tour!
Next time I visit, I’m going to try the horseback riding in Central Park. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Canyon Bikes was very helpful when I left a wheel at home. I got a used wheel from another shop, and they got me set up, even providing a spare quick release at no charge. Thanks!

Found it on the fly via google maps minutes after exiting subway. Walked in, booked a cheaper rate on line (that the shop offered on site) while in the shop, and we were on our bikes and in central park literally 15 minutes later. Quite friendly staff of one (Darryl, I think) made everything easy and fast. Great value and convenient. Although we didn't go over our rental period, the overage charges would have been cheap cheap... Definitely recommended! Enjoy!

i have rented a bicycle numerous times in New York and without a doubt this is one of the best companies. It's very conveniently located especially if taking the subway. Also the employees were extremely helpful. Would 100% recommend.

Used city pass rental via Costco. Good deal that way. My bike was a little shaky. All in all great way ride around central car.

We had a great experience at Central Park Bicycle Shop. Very conveniently located, nice employees that gave us all type of details regarding the park and routes to take. Very well maintained the bikes and fair prices. We rented a bike with a baby chair and another bike with an extension for our 6 years old son and I can tell you this is an experience we will never forget ! Thank you Barish !

Awesome place to go rafting. The staff does a great job and the trips run like clock work. The guides are great and make the trip as fun as possible. Took the duckie for the first time this year. Brian and the crew did an awesome job as our guide in the pouring rain.

Just a great experience. We were worried about renting bikes after seeing so many bike rental people yelling at us in times square and the condition of some of the rentals. Well this place was awesome. We wandered on in a few blocks from the musuem of natural history and they had us on a few great bikes quickly. I bike a lot in Houston and these were cruiser road bikes by trek and giant. Great quality and we booked online saving a few bucks. We may just be back tomorrow!

Well maintained bike, good service.
We rented a tandem bike reserved on the same day and had nowhere to put the coupon code at checkout for 50% off, so I put it in the comments section. The 50% off is a SCAM. The owner says I had to reserve 24 hours in advance but there is nowhere on the website that says that. Anyway we had to pay the full $57 for three hours on a tandem and never got the refund.

We rented bikes from this bicycle shop today and I must say that these guys are the best of the best! If you are looking to rent bikes to explore Central Park in New York City look no further - they had brand new comfortable bikes and they are located only 2 minutes from Columbus circle and the Apple Store!!! Our friend took a Central Park bike tour and they have loved it as well. A must thing to do when you are visiting new york NY! Thanks Cycle Central Park .

Helpful, friendly service. Bicycles are fairly well maintained. Helmets and locks provided. The shop's location is only an easy three and a half block ride from the 77th Street entrance to Central Park. We went for the two hour rental and were able to ride the outermost path in Central Park as well as make several 5 min stops at some of the key sights.

As a California native, I've always wanted to experience the whole movie-like "riding a bike through Central Park" thing. So when I visited NYC for my internship, I looked up Cycle Central Park and went for it! As you can tell by the 5-star rating, I'm glad I did!
First off, what differentiated this company from the average is the fact that the employees obviously love what they do. They didn't just give me a bike and say "have at it," they provided detailed info that helped me maximize my experience. I was obviously a New York newbie, so they gave me the scoop on what was nearby and how long it would take me to get there. I was even directed to the nearby sandwich place at which I had what may be the greatest pastrami EVER (and that's saying something).
The bike itself was in great working order with no problems, and I was able to legitimately save money by purchasing their Yelp Deal via smartphone before walking in. I was given a lock for my bike as well, so I could enjoy my pastrami without losing the merchandise! The return process was quick and easy, my only regret is that I didn't have more time to spend seeing as a Central Park biker.

My children and I rented bikes from Cycle Central Park last week, and we had a blast. They have bicycles of all sizes and colors, so part of the fun for my sons was just choosing and comparing their bikes; they felt like they were little adults buying cars! The staff was friendly and funny, while being informative at the same time. We took one of their guided tours to make sure we had the most engaging experience possible.
While on our tour, the guide catered to my children very well since it was obvious that
they were my focus. The explanations and stories he delivered were easy for them to understand and kept them involved the entire time. I was able to not only enjoy the serenity of cycling through Central Park, but enjoy watching my kids' excitement at taking their first guided tour!
All things considered, Cycle Central Park is a great value for the price. They have plenty of other kinds of bikes other than the traditional ones, which we will definitely have to try next time. One of my sons just recently learned how to ride without training wheels and is still a bit shaky, and I was impressed by how much patience the staff had with him. This lets me know that CCP is a good choice for beginning bicyclers all the way to professionals. I haven't tried any other New York bike rental establishments, and don't need to now that I've discovered Cycle Central Park. I give them an A+!
