Had the sharing menu for 2 - here’s my honest review
=======
Charcoal Grilled Spanish Octopus, Spiced Salmoriglio, Romesco Emulsion, Feta
Burrata Campana, Medley of Beetroots, Toasted Pine Nuts, Pomegranate ———> overall the appetisers were really good, 10/10 in my opinion

Orecchiette Al Torchio, Eggplant Caponata, Deep Sea Red Prawn, Liliput Capers ————-> very good, I loved the flavour
Spaghetti ‘Monograno Felicetti’ , Cacio & Pepe —————-> this was BAD. it was so dry. It was so disappointing

Jack’s Creek Black Angus Tenderloin
Futari Wagyu Butcher’s Cut
———-> the mains was good, though can taste the difference between the tenderloin and wagyu. The tenderloin was Wayyyy better than the wagyu

Sides were ok

Overall impression: good to try once but won’t go there again

Had a lunch there for the first visit and their dishes were mind blowing! Appropriate pricing and portion, it’s delicious. Friendly service throughout, there are quite a few wine selections too. Love the ambience and I will definitely back here again.

Food was awesome and fitting to the fanfare. Price point for the set lunch was well worth the money. Only downside was the service. I had intended it for a birthday celebration and left a note via email to their staff with their acknowledgement. The staff was not attentive when the meal was over. I had to ask for the birthday complimentary dessert and they seemed at a loss. Moments later they served. Was probably a mix up. But the surprise for my partner wasn't there already. Other than the service mix up, all was good. Just a tip, staff should brush up on articulation of the food descriptions. It seemed they were mumbling all the time. If not I'd have given a 5 for service.

Glad to try the Sunday brunch with my husband - service was super with special shout-out to Jay, Alvin and the rest of the team. We love the food and especially the wine! Highly recommend friends and family whom would like a chill, laid back Sunday bottomless brunch.

Visited during restaurant week and tried their dinner menu. Ambience of the place is beautiful, tucked in a corner in National Gallery, nicely designed interiors complementing the national gallery decor.

All the dishes we tried was special. A good curated menu that allowed us to try their selection of specialities including seafood, pasta and meat. Smoked trout was the dish of the day for me, perfectly seasoned and smoked trout complemented with gel and herbs. Steak again was very good, perfectly cooked steak which had loads of flavour.

Good selection of wine (old world) but felt price wise it's bit on the higher side. Expect to pay around $150+ for a decent bottle.

Overall a very nice restaurant and we enjoyed our experience.

We had a delightful dining experience at Gemma. The food was incredibly delicious, with a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes that truly captured the essence of Italy. The attentive and friendly service added to the overall charm of the place. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking authentic Italian cuisine and exceptional service. It's a gem that should not be missed!☺️ Thank you for having such a wonderful team especially to Tom and Wendy that elevates the dining experience to a whole new level.
