This hidden gem inside a silent National Gallery at night has a lot to surprise you. Strongly recommend the beef randang, the roti and the chicken rice rice 🍚 😋 The vibe is great, the interior is lit, being inside a National Gallery it can't be bad. Very reasonable price for food. But it could be quite noisy and may not be good for dates. More for big groups gathering or catching up with friends. Almost needed to shout speaking across the table.

If you're vegan/vegetarian, it's not recommended going during the weekend high tea service! There won't be much at all for you to choose from.

There's no plant-based high tea option, and we were told that all the a la carte plant-based options were unavailable for order at this time. This was a disappointment to us, as we thought we could order from the otherwise quite plentiful plant-based options on the menu. I guess they just can't make them at high tea time.

That being, it's a really nice place otherwise, and the food is delicious. Best chendol I've ever had. Beautiful surroundings too!

Minus one star for the lack of vegetarian options during high tea service. It shouldn't be so hard to expand the options. Otherwise, 5/5.

This is indded a place not only good for business, but also good for family. Authentic nyonya food at its best. Alsp reflecting the unique food that are only available in SEA especially straits settlements. Food portion also generous. Service needless to say top notch. Do not miss this place.

Ordered the prawn soup, kway pie tee, tauhu goreng, assam fish, chicken, chap chye, upside down pineapple cake and tapioca cake. Overall the ambience was still quite ok and nostalgic though it could be a bit noisy for conversations. The food were generally quite tasty, and it cost about $80 plus per pax. Recommended dishes were prawn soup, kway pie tee, chap chye, Assam fish and tapioca cake. I wouldn’t really order the chicken or tauhu goreng again, as it was just ok. Tauhu goreng to me felt a bit overpriced and it’s a bit strange to do in deconstructed style.

First time eating in this restaurant, was invited here for a business dinner. Booking is needed. It is full house even on a weekday dinner. Good customer service. The place is nicely renovated, classy, atmosphere is good for conversation. Food is decent, majority of the food are on the spicy side. All the atmosphere comes with a price and this is definitely on the higher end. To give you an idea, a chicken rice will cost u SGD26. A place worth trying especially if it is on a celebration.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Singapore for local and Peranakan dishes. I love to bring friends from overseas here.

My favorite dishes are dry laksa, gado gado, chicken curry, beef redang, and sambal eggplant. The dessert, Coconut Delight, is surprisingly refreshing and perfect to end a satisfying meal.

Celebrated my wedding anniversary here, and the staff went out of their way to make it special.

Had the beef cheek, which was nice and soft, melts in your mouth. Also had the garam assam fish and brinjal.

Washed it down with 2 cocktails, and for dessert, we had the coconut pudding.

Lovely experience. Will visit their other outlets to try it out as well.
