US Air Force and Space Force Recruiting

SSgt Melendez has shown great leadership and dedication to new recruits during my time working with him. He offers great information and help to those who are interested in becoming airmen in the Air Force.

Great recruiter, she was incredibly helpful throughout the entire encounter guiding me with professionalism and accurate information that I didn’t get from other recruiters. Her knowledge and support along with her friendliness makes her a great option to start your enlistment process with her.

Sgt. Bono was really helpful throughout my enlistment process. She answered any questions I had about the enlisting process in a professional and courteous manner.

Also, the staff here are incredibly pleasant and made my transition to the Air Force a breeze. Come here if you're in the area and thinking about joining the Air Force. I also did RAP here and had a fantastic time!

SSgt Bono is a great recruiter, she made sure to thoroughly explain the process of joining. I was able to go to MEPS and ship out about 7 months from when I initially spoke with her. A year later I'm proud to be an Airman and looking forward to continue on this journey!

Honestly best Decisions I have made in my life so far. Came to this location looking for some answers and a couple of months later, I am now an Airman. I also gained my citizenship in a matter of 6 weeks. I am so glad I joined the AF best branch to join, so many benefits, Tuition Assistant, retirement, job security, etc. Love the fact that tech school and BMT are considered college credits towards a degree. Can’t beat all of the benefits that have come into my life since I’ve enlisted. Recruiter Tsgt. Ackermann was able to guide me thru the process and gave me his best advice to navigate thru. I am very happy with AFSC entomology (pest management) tech school was a lot of fun, felt like a college experience. I have meet so many cool and like minded people. Now I’ll be heading to my fist duty station and I really can’t wait. VA here I come 😆

If you’re looking to join the military, definitely join the Air Force. The recruiters here were accommodating and worked with me. Been in the service for about 8 months now and I can proudly say that I don’t regret joining one bit.

I visited the Jamaica Avenue location today. Was greeted strangely by stares. I was offered a seat and, “asked to wait” for the person that I was told to, “ask” for. I was them greeted by a female sergeant that offered me a private room to ask me, “why you choose to join the army ‘now’ at this ‘age’? “…
My response to her was, “I don’t know” because I taught she was messing with me at first with her blank paper and a pen. Telling me she wasn’t aware of all the requirements I needed to enlist in the Air Force Reserves.
“But being honest, the soldiers of United States America stands strong and courageous to make the people of this nation feels ‘safety’ and ‘comfort’ ,even when they are at ‘war’ for us all. And that is PEACE. Defending our country and keeping our love ones safe and ever innocents on their journey.
