Bukchigo Jangguchigo

This place is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Vancouver. The flavors are very authentic and they use great flavors for their soups. The type of dishes is what alot of Koreans like to say is their comfort food. Even in Korea the type of soups they sell here is what an average Korean would eat locally at least once a week. It also pares the best with soju on a cold winter day or even eaten is hangover food. It's my go to Korean soup place, but if you can't eat pork intestines, tripe and other meat parts there are other menu options so don't worry.

Low key feels like you’re in an actual Korean neighborhood eatery. The serve some traditional Korean foods that are not common in or use uncommon cuts of meat.

Prices are a bit steep but it’s delicious.

Very hot Korean traditional for dinner.

One of my favourite Korean restaurants in BC. The atmosphere is quite cozy. Sundae soup was a bit pricey but delicious. The spice level was perfect. The staff was friendly.
Totally would recommend.

Most favorite Korean restaurant in vancouver, but sometimes our server seems like don’t want to help you. But we still will keep coming here because of the food

Not a bad place for sun dae soup but quite pricey. At the price point I think there are better places for similar dishes they serve. Ambience is unique but not pretty or anything hence one star off. Try it, you might love the place or not.

First time visiting korean restaurant in canada. The server was super nice, and the service was swift and smooth. Some korean guys were drinking soju while chatting loudly so I know this is an “authentic” korean place.
I ordered a regular size Sundae soup, and the portion size was pretty large for the price.
Side dishes were decent as well, not too salty. I think I will come back when I’m in the area.
