I do not attend there, but my children just started there. The jury is still out.

The cost of a algebra class was one grand approximate. That is to much for one basic class.

Stefani Trajceski, MPA Was amazing!!!!!! She stayed on top of things I went with a mess for financial aid and a horrible gpa !!! She made sure she told me everything correctly to do too go forward on getting enrolled back in school ! I went into another campus but wasn’t helped or satisfied, I went to Valparaiso campus and met Stefani Trajceski on a Monday by Thursday I was back enrolled! She is truly amazing she actually cared!

My experience with Ivy tech as been a mixed bag. It's more affordable than other colleges. I have had some amazing instructors. However, the classes seem very watered down. It feels like I'm really not learning anything. Some of the instructors aren't best at teaching. Ivy tech is overall meh.

I suggest nobody come here unless you really have to. Your advisor will lie to you about you date to graduate. English 101 teacher will target you for no reason, she will embarrassed you in front of other people and yell and scream.
Rhetoric and argument teacher will make you fight for your life if you don't agree with her political beliefs. She will yell at students over disagreements over covid that she brought up.
If you are older than 19 you will be blamed if your 19 year old partner refuses to do any work because you are older. You may be thrown out of a class if you dare go to a your four year colleges mandatory first year student experience and sign up for classes. The teacher knew about this BTW.
Every English teacher here has a horrible attitude problem and feels they are doing you a favor. Did I mention people here don't know what they are doing regarding helping you graduate.
The only people who should come here are adults who have been out of highschool for a while (this was my case) nursing or any medical student or anything that isn't intellectual example being psychology.
I had no advisor through 2020 and nobody would answer my emails or calls. When I was months from graduation my new advisor disappeared. I would never come back or do it over.

The professors are very nice and knowledgeable. I really like it here and it feels more welcoming and more of a personal experience than it did when I was at Purdue a few years ago. I feel like I can expand my knowledge more and be able to be a part of something bigger. I am very glad I am attending and for the money, it is very very amazing.
