Piada Italian Street Food

I am a regular customer at piada. Normally, everyone is friendly. However, tonight that definitely was not the case. My mom and I had ordered 5 meals for takeout. When we got to the register, Valecia explained that the order my mom got wasn’t half off (on half off Tuesday’s). My mom was upset and explained she has gotten it half off before. Valecia was no help. When my mom asked her to punch her punch card, she told my mom to calm down and ended up calling my mom “mental.” This was completely inappropriate and I will not be back.

The food is fine, but while there you often get the burnt food smell. My most recent experience was less than mediocre. I went to pick up an online order about 7-10 minutes after I was told it was ready. When I got there I looked for my order, and it wasn’t there yet- which was fine. I inquired about the order & was met by, “if it’s not there then it’s not ready.” I was still patiently waiting another 5 minutes, although my lunch break was now halfway over. Finally my food was ready- the lady seriously threw my bag of food across the counter and said “here you go” with the biggest unnecessary attitude. Job satisfaction is clearly lacking here if they treat other customers as they treated me. My food was pretty good though haha.

My work place needed a huge 17 item order for lunch and they not only accommodated the entire order great, but they were able to get it all prepared in under a half an hour. They know how to make incredible food, prepare it unbelievably quick even during a lunch rush, and they were all very nice inside. I don't know how they could deserve anything less than the full 5 stars.

Went in a bit before 5 for dinner. Was greeted, restaurant looked clean, chefs were friendly, especially Chef Valicia. Most definitely one of the nicer locations. Will most definitely be back.

Food was good. The African American working today was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She was very kind and patient throughout all my neediness. I was quite disappointed to hear the staff aren't allowed to accept tips. This girl definitely deserved a huge tip!

I had the best experience and just wanted to share. After a busy few weeks preparing for the holidays I stopped in for a quick bite to eat. As we all know the holidays can be stressful and I was greeted with all smiles, friendliness, My meals were prepared perfectly! I would definitely recommend and will be back!

If you are a vegetarian, I would suggest going through the menu carefully because some of the food items contain meat. For example, my daughter doesn't eat meat but her wrap had meat due to lack of attention to read menus (my bad). Otherwise, the food is delicious and worth it to have a meal here. If we think carefully, the cost would be pretty much the same if not cheaper if we go to some fast food restaurants. In my opinion, it is a bit healthier and tasteful. I would highly recommend visiting this store.
