This place is beautiful and looks like a great place to live. Unfortunately I lost a lil buff(light orange/blonde) Kitty named Cotton. He ran up to this place and I haven't been able to find him. I love him so much and am absolutely heartbroken that he's missing.

Usually I don't go out of my way to leave scathing reviews, but with the rising cost of rent in the area and so many choices in complexes and rental space, I believe people need to know what they're signing up for.
I resided at Liberty Pointe for several years. That being said, I am still very much involved in the community and have many friends that still live here. I was/am on premise quite a bit spending time with residents. Since GREYSTAR has taken over, the service, amenities, and general care and concern over the community is abhorrent at best.
The clubhouse is listed as an amenity, however they've changed the hours, largely to business hours so socializing/watching sporting events after work, saturday evenings, or sundays at all is no longer a tangible possibility unless you spend the several hundred dollars to rent it. The pool is just beginning to open and they have already opened it later than the listed hours several times.
An employee decided to close the clubhouse early without prior notice, leaving residents and their guests to disband, quickly after a 20 minute notice, an hour earlier than the posted time of closure. The general disrespect shown to residents and guests from an employee I witnessed, not only with her behavior, but with how she spoke to the people present was enough for me to contact GREYSTAR directly with my concerns, to which they responded "We are sorry you are displeased .. Please feel free to get in touch if you'd like to discuss it with us directly." I was under the impression that bringing the incident to their attention was doing exactly that. Apparently not.
I find the current culture of the company shamefull, heartbreaking, and distasteful.
I used to love Liberty Pointe. It was my first home in Pittsburgh, but I've seen numerous residents leave and the ones who continue to stay are having trouble being heard and feeling considered. I used to suggest LP to friends/coworkers looking for a place in the Bethel Park area. I'm saddened to say that suggestion is no longer one I'm willing to make. Rent is too high of an expense to have residents continually disrespected and ignored. Unfortunately, this has been a steady decline at this complex for several years and the list of offenses are too numerous to list. This is just one cluster of several issues. These residents deserve more - and those looking to move in - I would not encourage you to join them.

This place is ridiculous. I lived there for two years never had any problems. I moved in under previous ownership and the complex was sold to GREYSTAR shortly after. I had my credit check run upon moving in and was happy to only put down $350 deposit for an overpriced apartment although the location is great. Really did enjoy living there at the time. When I moved out I kept asking where my deposit was and they kept saying it takes up to two months. Now two years later, they say I did not even have a deposit. I told the accountant for GREYSTAR that I even have my contract with the amount I put down and his answer was “he sees contracts all the time this means nothing to me. People say they put deposits down all the time and they lie about it”. Needless to say I was blown away at that answer considering I have contracts from my move in lease agreement and the second renewal agreement in which my deposit was transferred too. Yet this company has absolutely no record of my deposit and their accountant Jeff Postal with grey star is calling me a liar. Don’t waste your money or time here they’ll just rob you. Move out inspection was completed and 100% perfect.

We moved in in September of 2023 and was forced to move out February of 2024. It specifically states there is no smoking in the building but ours constantly smelt of marijuana. We have a young child and after finding out we are expecting a second, our doctor recommended getting out of that environment. We sent our complaint stating we need to leave. A follow up email letting tenants know smoking is prohibited was not sent until a month later. Upon receiving our final statement, the reason listed for leaving was “complaining about neighbors/noise” completely undermining the situation. I would not recommend living here as this was not handled in the best manor. They had offered to move to a different building but we walked through and smelt the same odor, which led to our decision to move, yet have to pay an early termination fee. All in all, bad experience.

Apartments are gorgeous however the leasing office is extremely difficult to get any assistance. If you need help best to go in the office or have to keep calling them even if they say they will call you back... they won't. They will threaten to tow cars parked in the future residents parking while one of the leasing workers parks her vehicle there daily.

Lived here November 2017 till June 2022; very nice experience, friendly neighborhood. I lived in building 1 where we had access to the clubhouse and business center without having to walk outside. Views were splendid! Could see the road, and bbq area, along with a nice green area.
Through our stay we had problems with water heater, dish washer, washing machine/dryer. Considering it was an unrenovated apartment for cheaper rent, I didn't mind. Maintenance gave us new appliances to replace our broken ones, no increase in rent too!
you have giant eagle, kohls, best buy and other shops within a 5 min walk.
In the winter sometimes i have had to call maintenance to fix heater, and it would get fixed by the end of the day which was nice.
Sometimes, we got water main break issues in the area as a whole... Maintanance bought water bottles, and got water tanks outside and in garages to make sure everyone had water for the day.
If you are looking for an apartment around Pittsburgh, Liberty Pointe is definitely one of the best. If not the best.
When we moved out, the management wished us a good luck, and in their check of the house, they were a bit more lenient since they were going to renovate it either way. (Lots of apartments try to rip you off money by saying random things)
I will definitely miss my time in Liberty Pointe, and do plan on moving back there in the future.
for those wondering why I moved out, It was purely for job opportunities in a different state.

Lived here for nearly a year. Good location, close to Hwy 19/shopping/restaurants but away from noise. Nice views from some apts (see photos). Management/staff generally friendly/helpful. Buildings/apts kept up well. Stove, microwave, fridge, dish machine all work well. We plan to stay another year, maybe longer.
