Grand Adams

one of the worst apartments I've lived in. Management is hard to get ahold of, they often band aid issues rather than solving them and they're not friendly. since moving in, there have been a number of issues: lock on the apartment door was broken, window in upstairs bedroom broken, hot water doesn't stay hot for a long time, our oven door broke 4 times before they replaced the oven with a used, filthy oven with a broken light, the in-unit washer/dryer combo does not work well, the laundry units on the floor also break a lot, there are mice (I've seen them in the hallways and in the unit), the parking garage is horrible too -- very sharp turns on the ramps, it's impossible to drive down the ramps without doing numerous k-turns, very tight spaces and over crowded when all cars are parked in the "spaces". definitely do not recommend moving in here, especially with such high rent prices. the only good part is the security guard who is incredible!!

Any service issues were always handled quickly and without hassle, never had to complain for something to get done or for the entrance area to be cleaned.

This building can be the best of times and worst of times but being realistic, things happen that are out of our control. What keeps this place going are the people and the resiliency of the staff. Living through a transition of property management groups you can expect everything to change and things can take a bothersome time to ramp up but, management have been outstanding with maintaining efficiency during this period. The maintenance for personal requests in the apartment has a quicker turnaround than before. All around, it’s a very welcoming environment and I enjoy living here!

I've been living at Grand Adams Apartments for 1 year and I'm very happy with it. The apartments are modern and well-appointed, and the staff is always quick to respond to any maintenance issues. The location is also great, close to everything I need. I would definitely recommend The Grand Adams Apartments to anyone looking for a new place to live.

I’ve been living at Grand Adams apartments for the past three years and I’ve loved every minute of it. The apartments are spacious and well-maintained!

Edit: After I posted this review there were suddenly what … 10 reviews posted in the same day with all 5 stars from accounts with names of people not in our building directory, come on guys. Don’t fake being better, just do better.

If you get an apartment without issues it may be fine but in general management will ignore and band aid everything.
-Communication is terrible, I also hate that they never sign their emails from management, it seems like it’s purposely to avoid responsibility/giving a face to anyone
-There’s some mice mostly reported on the 2nd floor
-Recent break ins and bikes have been stolen and management couldn’t care less.
- Dog park isn’t maintained further than asking tenants to wash themselves. The hose doesn’t have a spray nozzle or reach the whole park and the door hinges are always coming off and literally just left rusty and dangling
- Occasional Roof Leaks
- Occasional Elevator Breaks (including dropping down with people in them) and usually not repaired quickly

Pros: Fernando the doorman is the nicest human being

My husband and I lived in the building for three years and absolutely loved it! The apartment itself was beautiful and featured all upgraded appliances with high ceilings and a walk in closet. The building features an awesome outdoor area which we used to entertain friends and has onsite parking for a reasonable fee. The management team could not have been nicer. We moved out to the suburbs to buy a house, but if we were to ever move back to Hoboken we would 100% rent at the Grand Adams.
