Aji Sai

Yesterday i visited restuarant to pickup the order and i was fasting so i requested glass of water and the owner was very nice and gave me the water. I was very thankful for them and highly recommed everyone to visit the restaurant to get the best service.

I’ve been here once before and I remember the sushi and service being very good. However on my second time going everything just felt very basic. Good but not great.

For the price, the food is good, but unremarkable. I tried their Aji Sai Maki, thinking that if it was named after the restaurant it would be their signature, but it tasted like a basic salmon and avo roll.

Additionally the service was quite disappointing. There were 2 servers and only 3 tables including ourselves dining in and it was still impossible to flag down a server because they were far more concentrated on all of their take out and Uber eats orders. We felt ignored the whole time.

I would eat here again but likely will just order take out since the dine-in experience was nothing special.

Route 66 sushi was delicious 👌🏽. Sushi rice could’ve been a bit fresher on the roll but, overall the food was good and tasted fresh and priced affordably . Staff is very friendly thank you !!!!

Putting pickled ginger in sushi roll is lazy. It's a condiment, like wasabi, and you don't put it in the centre of sushi (I hope).I understand the budget is tight w the inflation, but please come up with something better that makes customer feel worthy paying for.

I ordered Sushi Tray F ($46.95) and Spring rolls ($6.49, Free w order over $30) for delivery.
Overall, im happy with the meal, except the 12 pcs of ginger rolls. It's a lack of creativity, if not underestimating your customer. I've been to this restaurant since it's opened, think it was more thoughtful then, with the owner himself in the sushi bar.

Rice was cooked properly (it's important to me it's not pasty), and seasoning was great.

Ubereats: so I took the free spring roll which was great, but the tip was calculated for the % of sushi + springroll+ tax. Then springroll was deducted in the end. Small thing, but a freebie should not be in the calculation.
I heard this is the same for other restaurants "deals", tax and tip are calculated for the pre-discount price (unless the customer is not mindful to calculate manually). I felt somewhat tricked.

Got take out from here and it was so fresh. The sushi pizza was one of the prettiest I’ve seen in a while. I would’ve gotten just mayo with it instead of spicy mayo but that was on me. The mango avo roll was my fave, the mango was so sweet!

Ordered through door dash over an hour before they closed , sushi tasted off, it seemed old and dry, tempura was brown and greasy and the salad had butt ends of vegetables. Wouldn’t recommend, wouldn’t order again. Getting something else for dinner, what a waste.

The food was fantastic. The service on point! They really care about the presentation of the food, it was immaculate!! Take out was busy, but you could tell they where happy to have people in the restaurant. Absolutely the best Sushi 🍣 in a long time. Generous proportions. Very competitive pricing. Even the menu was fantastically designed, new, clean, and a great feel.
