I spent a fortune on doctors visits. My back had been hurting for ages and I was always in pain and getting sick. I was told it was stress and told to go to their physio for my back which never helped. I asked for an xray and sure enough I had severe scoliosis . I asked the doctor if she'd received the results and no she hadn't.I changed doctors after I was still getting sick all the time. Turns out I had ragingly high calcium levels and was rushed to hospital with a tumor on my parathyroid gland. So any longer and I might have died. Just not listened to and some of the doctors have no people skills.

I was booked in for my pepi's 3 months vaccines. She was exactly 12 weeks and we were on our way to the appointment when I got a call just before my appointment saying she can't go in as she needs to be 3 calenders months. Now what confuses me is my friend took her baby at 12 weeks and they allowed his vaccines. I am livid.

I have been a patient of this practice for over twenty years. When I moved away from the area I looked for a Dr closer to home but couldnt find a centre as good as this, so I came back. The Dr's, nurses and staff are great and their systems are good. Would recommend.

Couldn't get my usual Dr so went with Dr Hutchinson. Had to wait 1.5 hrs, that's 90 minutes. Thats suicidal in the business world. Imagine keeping a customer waiting for 90 minutes at the counter. I felt like charging Mt Eden Medical Centre my hourly rate to recoup. However, due to smart phones, I had a very productive 90 minutes in the car doing business and got through a lot of emails. When I did eventually see Dr Hutchinson, I knew the reason why. He is old school. Does not believe in keeping to 15 min time slots but rather 1950s chit chatter about nothing. Good sense of humour. May work with his older clients, but not the time conscious generation coming through. He did however, give good medical advice.

Don't bother wasting your time and money! Second time now that i request a repeat of my ongoing urgent medication online and then nobody gets back to me in 4 days, then you call and they say sorry he was on leave or some excuse, and then charge you extra for a urgent script. Why have a portal to request medication online but when your dr is on leave or away due to a family emergency nobody takes care of it, just nothing happens. For the price i am expected to pay, this is ridiculous!

PS: this is medication that causes severe side effects if stopped so they are putting my life at risk!

I’ve been going to this practice for about 6 years and have nothing but good things to say about them. Due to mental health reasons I see memc every 3 months and even when my doc is booked out I’ve always been treated as part of a family. Sure I’ve had to wait 5-15 minutes sometimes but it’s a doctor, sometimes thing run longer than expected. I’m not sure about too sure about some of these other reviews as I’ve never experienced anything negative and some of the reviews arnt even by people who have been there.

Very surprised to read some of these reviews. I've been going here for about 7 years and have only received impeccable service and care. I deal with mental health issues and would go as far too say my doctor there may have even saved my life. I want to move overseas but am actually apprehensive because I'm terrified to have to find another doctor. And the reason they are always running behind is because the doctors here never watch the clock. Don't complain about them running behind because you wouldn't want them to watch the clock during your appointment.
