This light rail station is very good.

It's the most trashiest looking station I ever saw. It's never clean. The people who get off/on here are people I would NEVER become friends with. Where's Metro Transit Police? I swear people at this station LOVE holding up the light rail. I hope someday Metro Transit can get it's act together and clean this place up. And be careful here because it’s close to GF Square.

When I talk to people about how I take the train to and from work they mention "like the 3rd stop out of downtown" being disgusting evem before they learn that is my stop. The platform is often a disgusting mess, no one can seem to find the trash cans. The north stair well is repulsive, but of course that's the one closer to my destination. It smells like piss even after it's been cleaned. There are often homeless people sleeping or smoking in there, as well as on the benches at the top of the platform. The police station is a block away, I wish they'd do something about this issue.

The northside entrance (side of strip mall) to the train station is disgusting. It constantly smells like urine and most evenings the local drunks are hanging out. The southside entrance (by the school and office building) is pretty well maintained. No disgusting smells. I've never been harassed by anyone on either side.

Gritty Urban Feel and a nice view of downtown or riverside towers from the second level. One of those interesting public spaces where you never really know what to expect. Shameless hard drug use and mystery substances / liquids on the floor and walls spice up morning commute. For most authentic experience visit in midwinter early morning before the sun comes up on a really F'ing cold day.
