This people is Useless apart from not helping with a good attitude, they do not know how to maintain correct information. What a shame I hope they teach them how to be good customer service or hire different staff to help them and do their job well.

Ms. Young was Very Caring and Polite when reaching out to me. She called me and kept me updated and let me know what was going on with my Case. I didn't have to call nor wonder anything. I Really Appreciate the Courtesy. I haven't experienced that kind of Customer Service in A long time. Thank You Very Much

I’ve used this location several times without an issue but in recent months I truly feel like my applications were tossed. I had a receipt for the medical application which was my saving grace and ended up calling the city. Speaking with a supervisor does nothing but annoy the staff.

My second application was tossed as well because the case worker was annoyed and she asked where my baby was. I asked a valid question since my child was a newborn but still in the hospital (NICU). Well I found an electronic letter stating that DHS received my SNAP application and I was awarded but some how my case was still closed. Stop being spiteful to people who are coming to a city entity for help when they need it. Families who make time to apply and submit documents should not have their applications tossed due to a case workers attitude!

My experience was excellent. The staff was very informative and no nonsense. Have your information and have it open. They are by the book! so yes, I had to leave and come back with one document I didn't have. The front desk lady is a sweetheart ❤️ thanks for letting my son charge as he has asked politely. Ending my experience with Velina, she was very smart, helpful, worked quickly with excellent customer service and care. In my opinion this office is very compassionate about helping the residents of the District and I would recommend.

This review is for the Energy Office only as I have not been to the other departments.

The entrance security was also excellent.

I arrived at 9:30am and was seen at 2:30pm. You have to be prepared to wait a long time to get seen. It's not the most comfortable or inviting building to wait in for half a day.

However, once I was seen, the staff member working my case was kind, helpful, and clearly dedicated to assisting me, although I'm sure it had been a long day for her as well. In the next cubicle over, I heard another customer talking about how she had been sent away yesterday because they were at capacity, and she was almost sent away today when a staff member recognized her and said "not her, I told her to come back today, we'll help her today." I believe all the people who left negative reviews of this office had genuinely frustrating experiences, but I also believe there are sincere, helpful people doing their best here.
