Me and my boyfriend have been coming here since 2021 and it has become our date night destination ❤️
The staff is always friendly and helpful and the food is always amazing( not just saying that). The servers are ready to serve you the second you walk in :)
Even if they're busy (on holidays), they will always make sure you know that they see you and didnt forget that you are waiting.
The servers are awesome and are just great in general.
Personally I've noticed that they adapt to their customer. For example, if the group jokes around sarcastically they will also join in on their vibe :)
If the group is calm and just wants to grab a bite to eat, they will follow their vibe aswell.

My two favorite servers at this restaurant are hands down Maddy and Martha
They're such a breath of fresh air.
They're always in a good mood and know us so well. It's ike we're going to a family members house for dinner.
BTW it is a great little spot to enjoy a drink and watch the games !
Just ask which game and they will put it on (if it's not on already )

The best tiramisu I’ve ever had! Not even exaggerating.
Nice little unassuming place in a strip mall area. Not too impressive on the outside, but quite nice inside. A hidden gem. It's a small place, making it quite intimate and quiet even when full. The food is all very tasty with decent portions, somewhat reasonably priced. Menu is mostly standard Italian fare, but not all of it. Burgers and salads are very good and they had a ribs and wings special that night which was very good. Their breakfasts are said to be very good, but I can't speak to that until I have tried it. Service was prompt and friendly, with no issues providing everyone with seperate bills and no imposed tip that I could see. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Our dinner here was amazing, it was our first time here and let me tell you it won't be our last. I was craving pasta and this place left me speechless. Very good flavor and quantity. And matty was an amazing server she suggested sea food trío it was delicious.
Decent place with standard breakfast fare. Great for seniors atmosphere. Dinner pastas are quite good as well. Friendly service. They are also on Skip the Dishes if you want home delivery.

Delicious food, great service, fair prices
We were greeted quickly upon entry by 2 servers. Our server that evening was friendly, kind, and attentive throughout our meal. She lit a candle at our table, which provided nicer ambiance with the lowered lighting. We got a cushioned booth, very cozy.
There's a wall separating the sports bar area. It wasn't crazy noisy for Friday early evening. There was quite background music playing in the dining area. From our booth, we could view -but not hear- the TVs (news & sports) in the bar-area through upper panels of glass on the dividing wall. This is great if you have a partner/friend who doesn't want to miss the game, while dining.
Cajun-Fried Calamari Appetizer: cooked just right. Tender, not chewy. Perfect to share between 2 adults. Tasty dip.
Lamb Entree: delicious! Tender, moist, cooked to order (medium rare), great assortment of roasted vegetables , flavourful mushroom gravy & mashed potatoes. *affordably priced
Chicken Parmigiano Entree: Yum! Also tender & moist. Mozzarella cheese layer looked like it would be a bit heavy, BUT it was perfect! Served with roasted vegetables & penne pasta with marinara sauce.
*Server offered freshly grated parmesan & grated pepper upon serving our entrees.
*Cloth napkins when dining in
Note: The side roasted vegetables help set their dinner entrees apart. Usually with a great variety of seasonal/root vegetables, plus carrots & broccoli. Also, not oily. Side dishes are often an afterthought at chain restaurants. You can taste the thoughtfulness & care put into each dish at La Scogliera.
We've been repeat customers for several years. Highly recommend dining at La Scogliera to anyone near the Cliffside area!

Wonderful Italian food in south Scarborough! Good value , excellent service , friendly staff. The cooks care for their food it shows in their presentation and taste . Will recommend the breakfast ! Hash brown is so good !
