Nice breakfast plates with ingredients that feel fresh, not soaky eggs or potatoes, good portion without exaggeration. The latte was very nice, with a beautiful aromatic espresso shot.
A Sunday at a community coffee place with freshly brewed coffee, lattes, and espressos sounds like the perfect way to unwind and recharge for the week ahead. Enjoying the nice environment, outdoor seating, and the company of others makes for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Nice place to get a bite to eat and some coffee in Carroll Gardens. The inside is quite airy, which provides a nice atmosphere. I had the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and it was delicious. I would definitely return!
The flavour of the beans is what sets this place apart from any in the area. Definitely the best coffee for 30/45 minutes walk. The 8.4 cortado was excellent, the aftertaste was a little acidic but it was welcome after having so many bitter aftertastes from coffees in the area. The milk work was expert as well.
Definitely a nice brunch place. Pancakes are good. Not too sweet too. Coffee is better as a latte or flat white, as the americano was on the sour side in my opinion.
The ambience is more high nose stuffy side also so not everyone will make you feel welcome or comfortable so be prepared, being white is an advantage. HAHAHAHA this is the reason I give only 4 stars.

We were actually at the Eatery, which is just around the corner from the Roaster coffee shop. Excellent Cortado… especially the beautiful heart on top! If you want the typical American breakfast, order the brooklyn fry up. If you want something a bit different, order the caesar toast.
Set at the Eatery at East One coffee roasters and loved it. Their avocado toast with salmon and poached egg was very good. Also their burger was really incredibly juicy. I didn’t like the maple sage latte so next time I’ll avoid it. Service was super nice.
