The Capital Grille

We had a great anniversary dinner and Capital Grille did not disappoint us. Food, drinks, and service were fantastic as expected. My only disappointment, and it was minor, was that there was only one option for non-alcoholic beer.
Overall, it was a great experience and we will go back.

We did not know that walk-ins had to make a deposit of $300 at the door for a table. I thought that was a bit weird, but other than that the food was great. The service was also great. Nothing too special, it was what you would expect from a steak house. They do make your guests feel special when celebrating a birthday!

Went to The Capital Grille for a large rehearsal dinner and was highly impressed with the service & coordination. Old school steak house with a study vibe in the back room. The back event room had a long table for the bride, groom, and crew.

The service was unbelievable. We were given an abbreviated menu but they were able to cater to vegetarians and those who wanted substitutions.

Started off with an excellent spread of different breads and butter. Followed by a typical house salad with vinegarette. Everyone was ordering espresso martinis (including myself) and I was impressed with our servers speed in shaking and pouring everyone's drink as requested. The old fashioned was firm with muddled cherry, pretty standard drink. I chose the dry-aged NY strip which was seasoned and seared to perfection. Cooked as requested. Buttery with extra flavor from the bone. Everyone else mentioned enjoying the salmon as well. I was over the moon about the creme brulee encrusted berry cheesecake, truly phenomenal along with the regular berry creme brulee.

I highly recommend Capital Grille for upscale dinners and gatherings.

I worked with Diane at the Capital Grille to plan a corporate 50 person happy hour event. The service and food was outstanding. I was very impressed with the detail, communication leading up to the event, and overall experience. I didn’t get the chance to capture all names, but all capital grille employees did an excellent job. I did remember Jeff, as he kept the drinks flowing and never missed a beat. I will definitely be back!!!

The bacon appetizer and the fries appetizer was very good! Actually better then my lobster and steak dinner. Mojito and dessert was great. Service was fine. The celebrity wall decor/paintings look out of place and clashes for a restaurant like this. Just my opinion. Not sure I would go back to this place unless it’s for those delicious truffle fries.

This place is absolutely incredible!! The service was professional and impeccable. I will always be returning for special occasions! Carlos was a lovely host! The atmosphere was great! I highly recommend this restaurant!

My husband received a very generous gift card for The Capital Grille so we used it for our anniversary dinner and splurged a bit! It is an incredibly fancy and upscale restaurant. We felt a little bit out of place when first arrived, but the service was excellent and the food was absolutely divine. We started with the cherrywood smoked bacon appetizer, which literally just melts in your mouth. We each ordered a New York strip and both were cooked to perfection. We got sides of asparagus and brussels sprouts. We definitely favored the brussels sprouts. It was overall a very nice experience, but it was very expensive and I don’t know that we would be willing to spend that much money on a dinner out again.
