Great little coffee shop in midtown. I ordered a 16oz black coffee(single origin Brazilian) and had the best cup of coffee I’ve had in NYC. I only wish the lady who took my order would have filled my cup properly. It was maybe 70% full, but I didn’t care too much due to how delicious the brew was.

My second visit to a Black Fox Coffee during my stay in NYC and I was one happy Aussie. Fantastic coffee, service and a lovely space.

Great coffee and very quick, even during the morning rush (less than 5 min). Went 2 days in a row while at a conference nearby.

Unique flavors which were so good, and not too sweet. I had butterscotch and maple
Pecan for my lattes and the milk was so frothy, really a perfect coffee to start the day.

I didn’t have any of the food, but the croissants looked really fresh and good, plus they were huge.

Definitely stop by if you’re looking for your morning coffee near grand central.

I wanted to love this cafe because of the impeccable branding, interior design, and coffee quality; but the service (or lack thereof) knocked it down a peg. I came twice and both times was met with a less than enthusiastic barista, and both times I got savory pastries, neither of which were offered to be heated up. Warming up a croissant should be standard by law. lol So a note to the owners would be that if you put just a fraction of attention to your service design like you do your brand design, you’d have an easy 5-star spot. ✌🏼

Delicious coffee! I got a latte and the espresso was amazing! Cute place to sit down and enjoy your coffee! They had pastries that I didn't try, some were gluten free!

I like their minimalist interior design. They have a good assortment of merchandise on their shelves. The wait time is pretty good at around 3 pm.

I ordered a cup of Honduras drip coffee. It wasn’t what I had expected. I’ve had a really good cup of Honduras coffee from other coffee places and has become one of my favorite coffee beans to buy so I had a bit of an expectation from my order. Unfortunately, the black coffee I got was flat, lacked flavor and body. It seemed watered down. Since I didn’t want to toss out a $4.50 cup of coffee, I added a splash of milk and paired it with pastry to help me finish the drink.

I’ll try the espresso based drinks next time. Perhaps I’ll get a better drink then.

Great coffee spot! I was venturing around here on business and was looking for a new coffee place to try and so happy I came across this place (and the helpful reviews!) The storefront is nice and big, and the barista greeted me right away. They have a cool design in place of a mat that caught my eye. Before ordering and the menu I noticed they had a bunch of merchandise! Upon inspection everything was really high quality and desirable stuff (think Starbucks but Black Fox Coffee logos and merch). I’m definitely getting some next time I return! They also had a nice display in their pastry case. I tried the iced Matcha dessert and was impressed; it was a nice treat. Their coffee was really good too. Hints of arabica but felt like a medium-dark roast which is closer to what I prefer. Really good stuff. Saw quite a few people going in and out while I enjoyed my order and hope the foot traffic stays high. The barista was also really nice and accommodating to all my small extra requests with no problems. Great spot! Definitely add it to your coffee tour if your in NYC.
