I’ve been going to this post office for a number of years and it’s always an enjoyable experience. I’m usually served by Ash who is always very helpful, knowledgable and always up for a chat. Thanks Ash for always making my day better 😊

I had the same experience some others have mentioned. The guy behind the counter made me stand outside in frigid weather, he actually shouted me out in this very passive aggressive way. Well, there wouldn't be a huge line if he could do his job more efficiently, that is all.

Great little Post Office run by excellent, knowlegeable, and very friendly staff. The person in front of me had a complicated issue which the staff sorted out very patiently. I was impressed at how professional and helpful they are.

I am so grateful to Ash for helping me today - and not for the first time. He is very kind and immensely helpful in an incredibly busy post office. I don't know how he copes with all the different customers, some of whom need detailed help - like me - and some of whom aren't very pleasant!

I just posted an old broken iPod in a small Jiffy bag using a service that allows a maximum letter thickness of 2.5cm. The postmaster “red x’d” the package because the Jiffy bag was a bit puffed up. It fitted through the letter thickness template he had with a small squeeze. Red X’ing means the package will go through an extra level of scrutiny to assess whether or not I or the recipient will be penalised. I’m now concerned that the recipient might be charged unfairly for an item that fits through a letter box if whoever checks it out is overly pedantic as I found the postmaster to be. Two stars because he didn’t raise his voice and was not rude. I usually use Hammersmith delivery office instead where the customer service is brilliant. I’ve never had this problem before.

***UPDATE***

Months after writing this review I received compensation for the loss of the item I posted. I suspect it might not have been lost if it wasn’t ’red x’d. This cost the post office £70+ as well as all the inconvenience to me and my eBay customer.

They are small but incredibly busy post office. Even still a hard-working to make sure the customers get the right assistant and services they need. Have a little bit of patience and they will help with all enquiries

Been coming to this Post Office almost everyday for the past 4 months to post items for my business and have recevied truly excellent service each and every time. The staff work tirelessly to serve customers. Lots and lots of people use this small Post Office, which is why there is sometimes a queue, but the staff do everything they can to serve customers as quickly as possible. And always funny, friendly, and with great character! Cannot fault these guys for their superb dedication and work ethic.
