Godfather

Absolutely lovely pizza with generous amount of toppings! And the man behind the counter is equally friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

I don't normally write reviews for local restaurants and takeaways... but I've reached my limit with Godfather Kingsway. I have been coming to this place since 1996, and with this much time you'd think there is some level of service you can expect when it comes to the quality of food you receive however you would be wrong to think so. Coming to this place you can expect nothing more than a 50/50 chance of getting a decent pizza. recently I bought a couple of pizzas for the family, and the first thing i noticed was the dough and cheese was expired. And on this occasion, not being the first or the last time, the pizza just tastes off. Now I love a good godfathers pizza when its done right, but at £25 for two pizzas I want my bloody pizza not to give me and my family the runs the next morning. I hate to write such a review for what used to be one of my favourite places in manchester.... And frankly i dont any amount of inflation will ever bring back the great Godfathers Pizza we enjoyed many a time .... Disappointing !!!

I have been using this kebab shop for the past seven or eight years it’s a treat
to stop in when I’m passing by The lamb Donor is home-made and I can honestly say you will not get it anywhere else in Manchester and the Lamberger is absolutely scrumptious. The only thing that frustrates me is the decision to take the lamb Donor or the lamb burger as both of them are superb.

Used to love this place. Went to order a pizza and there are flies hovering all over the ingredients at the pizza section. When asked the guy there, he said he can’t do anything about those in the most carefree way I have ever seen at a restaurant. The owner used to be very proud of his place and I don’t see him now. If I had seen him, I’d have definitely talked to him. Unfortunately I didnt and hence posting this review hoping it would reach him and also that he’d change things there. Had to turn back disappointed after hyping the pizza for my family.

Epic kebab and you get salad whilst you wait! What’s not to like. Either pay on the app or take cash though.

Won't deliver to us even though we're only 2.5 miles away, they deliver within 3 miles. No explanation given. They make up rules as they go along. And they also don't accept card payment. So if you come from far, make sure you find a free cash machine, because the one outside this takeaway charges you.

3 updates. Disgusting customer service.
1. They slammed the phone when my wife called on withheld.
2. Their price for our regular has increased by £5.
3. Their quality has dropped. Sprinkled a couple of pieces of chicken, and hardly any sauce.
The difference in quality is in the pictures.

I tried it for first time and the taste was amazing. The pizza base sauce was like something special and a specialty of their own. The chicken pizza was amazing. Really liked and enjoyed. The qeema one wasn’t good as had a smell of meat.
I would definitely recommend the chicken and would eat again.
The box says since 1984 so that’s truly wonderful.
