I think it is one of the most beautiful parks in Zurich city center. I would love to live in one of the housing estates around it. Inside the park there are hundreds of huge plane trees aligned in a square. There is a playground for children, restrooms on the side, drinking water on two diagonal corners of the park.
Great park, large and somehow also hidden from view -- if you don't see it in the map you may miss it.
Nice place to stay
A nice place to sit down and enjoy some Indian food from the delicious Indian place nearby. Beautiful lawn for dogs, picnics or kids. Also a nice playground for kids. I often see people going for runs around this park as well.
Ok if you have a dog and live nearby - its definitely better than nothing... but there's always a lot of trash on the ground and in contrary to other places in the city, no views at all. So I recommend visiting the "Chinawiese" or "Rentenanstalt" f.ex. that are all right at the lake side.
