It was a nice experience here, the place is big with many tables in salon and patio. Service was attentive and they have a sommelier helping you to choose wines. Tiradito Bachiche Yauca which was recommended by the waiter was tasty with rich flavors but a little bit salty. Cuy Pequines nice too. Arequipeño pride (Chupe de camarones) was a soup with this famous local shrimp and rice, potatoe, pumpkin…这个有名的chupe de camarones就是小龙虾泡饭啦，撑死我了
I know this is a highly rated restaurant by a famous chef, but I thought it was just alright. I’m not sure if it’s something else that I ate, but I also had food poisoning for a few days after this meal, similar to what a couple of other reviewers had experienced.
The ceviche was just ordinary. The Pekin guinea pig tasted like Peking duck. The chupe de camerones (shrimp broth) was rather underwhelming. Worth a visit, but not a repeat.

Food is good, atmosphere nice but the service is really bad. They served the food in quite acceptable time but once you finish they forget you forever. The plates keep dirty on the table for HOURS. Only when you call them they come, if not you can spend HOURS until they come again. Do not order deserts because they forget what you ordered.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Peru I've been to. The staff was very outgoing and friendly. The atmosphere was great. The soup I've had was delicious and one of the best I've ever had! Definitely recommended and I think you can't make any mistake here by choosing anything they have on the menu.
After dining at La Mar by Gaston Acurio, I decided to give this restaurant a try. It was an average experience overall. While there were some highlights, like the torrejas de verdura and the espresso martinis, I don't feel compelled to return. Unfortunately, the rice dish was overly salty, and the alpaca didn't stand out as anything special.
