Great place for stunning views of the entire city. It's easy to reach, not too difficult to find parking, enough and clean toilets. It's nice to just walk the tiny mountain 360 degrees (it looks like a top of a volcano). There are several platforms along the boardwalk, where you can take pictures. It's a perk that there are no fences anywhere. A coffee shop would be an idea to score 5 stars.

The lookout has a great view of the skyline and harbour and is on the edge of a dormant (I hope) volcano which has an interesting story. Read the information panels!
It’s a tough walk on a sleep road for those with mobility or fitness difficulties. Park as close as you can!

Beautiful lookout view of downtown Auckland . Despite the signs to stay on the trails, people feel a need to walk through the grass and down or up the hill.

This one the best free things to do on Auckland, While it is best at sunrise or sunset, any time of day is OK. Going here is better than Sky Tower. Bring a mid day lunch and have a picnic, which is what we did this time.

Absolutely amazing views! Going for sunset is a must, and then make sure to stay a bit longer to see the city skyline at night.

Tip: make sure to check the gate opening hours for the parking. If you’re planning on staying past the gate closing times, park at the lower parking or in the streets nearby.

Beautiful place especially at the top. A little bit of climb and but I managed to push a stroller all the way up till the hilltop, so it's pram-friendly.

This park is beautiful. We hiked to the bowl for sunset and it was a gorgeous view of Auckland, there was construction when we were there, so we couldn’t get a full 180 degree view. It was a bit crowded, but overall, a great experience
