Meriden Monuments Inc

Going to Meriden Monuments Inc was by far the worst experience of my life. After tragically loosing my mother, my father and I went to Meriden for a headstone. We walked in to a gloomy and unprofessional environment. The man in this shop, did not even acknowledge us walking in. Anyone with common sense would know why we are there, a loss. There was zero professionalism and empathy. We tried to give it a chance and give the benefit of the doubt. Sadly, there was no hope here. When we inquired about information, designs, styles, etc., this man talked to us as if we were experts in this field which is far from a reality. His showcase material was out dated and run down. He gave us a price on a basic gray headstone for far beyond the cost it goes for we later came to learn. This was such a difficult time for my family and he had absolutely nothing to offer or aide in a time of need. I would never recommend this place and it’s disappointing because it is right near the cemetery. What a sad excuse for a business. Very heart breaking especially when you are suffering so deeply. What matters the most is treating others with kindness and compassion during this time and that was far from it.
