Great practice, staff always helpful, GP's, physio's, pharmacist services all excellent. Appropriate advice given timely. Polite and respectful.

Been with this Dr's for over 20 years and seen the Decline in service Spiral down in the past few years.
A simple task such as getting blood results has resulted in a month of calling an waiting 20 minutes on the phone to get through only to be told different stories everytime I call up.
First they don't have them, then the Dr needs to read them then a week later told the same thing even Though I was told it would be done that week. Same story next week, I call back again and was told the Dr will call me in 30 minutes, this of course never happened and here we are another week later and now I'm told they don't have results only a discharge letter receieved 2 days ago and I need to book an appointment for that. This was told by the rude impatient receptionist who had no sympathy for the situation and didn't believe what I was saying.
Very disappointed by the service, the lies and disjointed communication with the team and complete lack of care. Awful awful Dr's will be moving on to another.

Had to take my mum for a specialist appointment for cardiology, which is based in this surgery. There is parking in the main street which is paid. Surgery was spacious and friendly staff.

Absolutely useless. Tried to book a doctor appointment for my kid, and the next available is in 3 weeks time. So unless you are bleeding to death you wan’t be seen by a doctor. Very Rude on the phone too.

This surgery is horrible! You don't have any option to book an appointment with a GP. I need to call 111 to have the possibility of getting a doctor's advice after 3 weeks of trying to get a phone appointment. Any chance of getting that because anybody didn't pick up the phone.

Very poor practice, the people who answer the phones sound miserable and they take their inner pain out on patients, no human side to them. The GP's are clueless, too casual and incompetent, you have more chance of finding a solution for your problem on Google. I was told by a GP from this place that apparently because I'm Asian I'll get blood pressure issues and diabetes. Still waiting over 2 weeks for a call back from my doctor regarding my MRI head scan, I call the reception they said I'll have to wait 1 month for a phone appointment.

In these times of so many people bashing their local GP practices, and the mismanagement of the people's NHS by those who should not be in their job through incompetence, I feel credit where credit is due for Southdene Surgery.
The receptionists who answer the phones have been nothing but helpful, polite, sympathetic and willing to help when you might not be able to get the GP or appointment you want. This is the case when you attend the surgery too. I had one bad experience 13 years ago with a receptionist who didn't last long after that, but since then I have no complaints at all. All the GPs are wonderful, and really care about getting you the best treatment they can, and working with you to understand you as a person.
I considering myself very lucky to belong to this practice and the high standard of service from every single member of their staff. Thank you
