Try to phone call , no one pick up .
Email, nothing reply .
How can contact to the this management?
I’m unbelievable. Never seen like this coop management before.
I’m working with a lot of coop management, usually very quick response, especially email reply.
This management is very difficult.

I never give reviews. 1 star is an overstatement. Thieves at best. My security deposit is being illegally withheld. Management’s communication is little to none, and renewing tenants have not even received a new lease for the new term, even though these thieves are expecting them to pay rent. Anything above 1 stars in these reviews are probably by the “management” themselves. Repulsive and disgusting and I hope they get overturned.

My mom has been living in one of the apts this company owns, and they have let the building fall apart for ages now!

No one does anything!!!

It’s sad honestly, this company is the worst in the history. They don’t fix any repairs , the apartments are falling apart, super unprofessional, unkind , and there’s no word for describe them honestly.

They don’t do. Shying to improve, they let the building get terrified by teens or unkind people , is not a safe environment, people smoke week all the times.

Management does NOTHING!!!

The worst management company I’ve had to deal with. They do not pick up the phone, or answer emails. Last year, in August 2023, reached out for repairs.. the repairs were made in March of 2024. Now they sent the super to tell us they don’t want us to have a doormats. Why? Of course I tried calling to find out and OF COURSE they don’t ever pick up. They’re worried about doormats yet their tenants are calling 311 constantly because of the rat issue outside in the alley way.

As a tenant I have requested numerous repairs via their website and no repairs have been done. I have email their info email to obtain some information needed and still have not heard back from them. The super is non-responsive and would appreciate that someone reaches out to me ASAP.

I've been renting with Chestnut for over 5 years and unless there is something wrong with the lease info or banking information it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of them. They are real uick to call you and even send someone to the door if they didn't get their rent -- but God forbid you have any of the following issues I'm dealing with and it's like trying to get a hold of the Pope. Here are my reasons for a 1 star review:
- All of the reasons below aside -- what made me come here was the fact that all of their lines on their phone work -- but for some reason the Repairs line is completely broken -- they leave you on hold, someone picks up and then hangs up. You can hear the pick up too which is what frustrates me the most.
- I've had a leak in my bathroom ceiling for over 1 year and the other day almost faced a collapse from the bathtub in the apartment above from us. I hope I don't have asbestos -- I'm talking about pipes and inner walls exposed.
- The super finally fixed it but won't paint over the sheetrock. So now my bathroom has exposed sheetrock and plaster.
- The extermination issue in this building is out of hand -- mice and roaches crawling all up in the walls and making holes into the apartment from outside.

All this said -- everyone here should file a Better Business Bureau report. They don't play - watch them call you back with the only quickness.

I’m just tryna understand why yall charge Visa cardholders a $44 fee to pay their rent, regardless of it being Visa credit or debit. The rent itself ain’t enough? Also, why is the tenant responsible for maintaining co2 / smoke alarms when THE LAW quite literally states that responsibility falls solely on management companies?
