My client resides in the Senior Living and was graciously allowed to attend ( day trip ) on the Alzheimer's floor at no extra cost. This is a true mitzvah for me and the blessing will come to all those involved there. Thank you so very much.

Dream realty has helped me in the past find stable housing for a reasonable amount of money in the Bronx NY. Not only was the apartment reasonable but it was spacious and in my opinion underpriced. I think they are a great place for any group of people for they are fair and friendly, I doubt there are any signs of discriminatory acts with this company.

Waited for an apartment for two months. We view it on a Saturday, where Mark was consistently rude to me and my husband. Belittling us and made fun of me for asking a question. He has a very condescending manner and “better than you” personality. Disappointed as I did really like them, they were sweet at first. We call on Wednesday as my husband And I were weighing pro/cons and he told us we could think about it but “don’t wait too long because I have many others that want this apartment”I didn’t think 3 business days was “too long” as I waited TWO MONTHS for even an update and they tell me that they already gave the apartment to someone else. Ana says she called me, which are lies. No missed call from them and no voicemail. I believe they called the wrong number and don’t want to own up to it. We waited TWO MONTHS FOR THE APARTMENT. If the apt wasn’t for us, that’s okay. I’m glad we didn’t give them any money with how we were treated. I’m sure others might have a better experience. Wasn’t our case.

Every time it rains massive flooding in front of the building which causes residents to walk into the street to avoid walking through the puddle extremely dangerous. Pretty sure damages the basement again rain causes basement to close because the laundry room is flooded, toilet overflowed in the basement, dead trees in front of the building. This building has lost its luster and has been in the past 10 yrs. And in the summer the front lawn is overgrown and cut maybe once with a weed trimmer. Management needs to do better

Excellent services and hospitality, helped me get my first apartment within a week. Omar, a very kind and genuine gentleman was very helpful.

I've been calling them for almost a year off and on. NOTHING. How are they staying in business with NO apartments available......unless they are lying TO ME.

I grew up in this building until I was 15 and a half. Our family lived in three different apartments over the years within the same building, moving from one to the other when children were born and we needed more room. Not long after we moved away, the building deteriorated so much that it was closed down, and sat vacant for many years. Then it was rehabbed and reopened. What the current conditions are like, I don't know.

The receptionist took my $20 for the application and never called me for an apartment . She probably put the money in her pocket.

Just above a slumlord, water damage from fire in another unit, still not repaired, you think they would check wires before hanging sheetrock no, now discover wires no good supervisors are a joke. if you rent from them you will be angry, and sorry. Frustrated vet.

Horrible building and mangement , doesn’t fix anything doesn’t care about the tenants just wants to get paid. Slum land lord , do yourself a favor and find a different building & mangment.

I have much love for Anna as well as dear Mark. They helped me get my apartment 8yrs ago then they helped my sister in law get her place. In great areas.

If you like a million people smoking and partying in front of your door or window than this is the place to be ! They give good heat

If you need something from them, definitely do not bother calling or emailing. They will NEVER answer. Apparently the USPS has been calling them for weeks to get a key so they can deliver mail and yet they never answer.

The receptionist is very rude and unprofessional, she made mistake writing my name and yet she has my state ID on hand when I asked her to correct that on lease she gave me three days to come back I don’t have time for that. Overall I will considered them as scammers in some way. I was first told I can’t use the basement and I can’t get my money hell no. To be honest don’t do business with them all they need is your money and they don’t care about your satisfaction

Complex is a comfortable living quarter

Even during COVID it has been impossible to get a response from this management office. I have been trying to get in contact with them for months and months so much that I give up. This is what I have been going through for months. No concerns for their tenants AT ALLL just go to the projects if you have no choice it's better there

Tip for new people: do not buy the big buck(200 balls) if you going by yourself lol. Or you be there for hours!

Horrible the Broad Street Apartments in Staten Island. was supposed to have been a Senior Apartments did not happen. We had a shooting in the building Feb 24,2020. I had 2 Packages stolen.People Blasting Loud Music.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! The walls are paper thin so you hear absolutely everything. It is awful. Also the neighbors love to play loud music at the most inconvenient times and you can hear everything! Management does not answer emails or phones. They are very responsive when you're signing a lease but other than that they do not reply to anything. When you have an issue in your apartment it will take a week plus for maintenance to come out to fix it. This place is god awful.

I have lived in this building for 4 months and i have to agree with most of these reviews except for the good review. I just recently had a package stolen as well and yes it was literally a couple of hours after it was delivered. To top it off, i found the box in the basement and it was empty and one of the maintenance men had been using the empty box to store his cleaning products?? Whats that about?? So i know that someone within the company or the building stole my package. Also yes, first we had roaches, then we had water leaking thru the ceiling and now we have mice! When is it going to stop?? Please stay away from this place.

The receptionist is very unprofessional and rude . When I ask her a question she got a big attitude . I paid the $40 fee that they asked for and she didn’t explain that The application expires within four months after I kept calling every day and she EVERYDAY that they would call me back. They need to hire new professional people

@ Chris Tripodi and Jose Guzman am having same issue as you guys. Encountered with them since 4 weeks now. I saw a studio they advertised and called they said is available went there they said they are not showing until I fill a form, $40 application fee with tons of documents. Next thing I was told was the landlord is not ready to show the apartment. So why then take my money and lie. I think we should team up and Sue them. Then they will stop coporate scaming. Thank God I have proof of my receipt.The only reason they have a star is I cannot post my review without it. So I give them below a zero. Mysha if you read your reviews rest assured I will definitely find a way to bring you people's shady biz out. It might not be immediately but trust me I will eventually do it.

The experience was bad here. I lived here for 2 years and had terrible experience with their management and the super. The management was irresponsible, messy and negligent. They NEVER NEVER NEVER reply to any of the emails! You can call them or go to their office. Besides, everybody in the office gives different answer to the same problem. You hardly can get a same, straightforward solution! Especially Lou who showed absolute careless to the residents. The other guy was great. Their super is irresponsive. He avoids phone calls and lacks punctuality. By the way, the apartments are easy for rats/roaches and all kinds of bugs to come in, despite their monthly exterminator services. The exterminator service is useless.

Worst place ever so unprofessional was told studio was available gave them $40 for the application they coming up with the story of the landlord not ready so why put it up advertising it. I ask for my $40 back because they didn't show me anything. I just waisted my time and my money if they new it was not ready why don't say it before. Still don't understand how I can not get my money back if you didn't do anything for me

this management is in cahoots with Axe at 209 W 242nd St, in the Bronx. getting money from you for background checks then having the realtor state that you have delinquent accounts. the ploy is to get your money with no intentions of accepting you for an apartment. when this happen to me i checked the yelp and google reviews and they have been doing this kind of set up for years. i then got a detailed background check on myself to show them they are inaccurate and i called and asked on numerous occasions for a copy of my report and i have been ignored. they are scammers both Axe realty and Genesis

I personally had a very good experience with Fordham housing. I lived in a very nice apartment at Cambreleng ave (see photo). Price was reasonable. My utilities were about $80/month.
I had to request a maintenance a few times when there were no hot water and everything was fixed quickly.
Especially I want to say thanks to Louis Krieger. He was very professional in his decisions and questions. Overall - my experience was very good!

Their management is messy and irresponsible. Before we moved out, they ensured us it was okay to leave our furniture inside the apartment and they would help us move them out. However, right after we have left Bronx, they told us we will get a fine if we keep furnitures inside. It is totally ridiculous.

They are also unresponsive. I called five times today during their office hours and yet no one answers. Didn't even get a reply to my email either.

When my friends who lived in the next building told them there were rats in the apartment, their response was just like"oh really I am so sorry to hear that." They just don't seem to care about your living condition after they have taken your rents, and would try to find a way to fine you too.

Overall, it was a very bad experience with this company. I have now switched to another real estate company in the neighborhood just because they at least know how to reply to emails right away.

this place never ever picks up their phone, when you have a problem. but if you owd rent or you did something wrong, they are quickly to send you a dumb letter. the worst landlords ever and the employees are too..

I agree with the previous poster and also think that a lot of the reviews on here are either from employees/former interns/friends of the owners. I reside in one of the apartments in Belmont Avenue. The pros are that the buildings are pet-friendly and the rents seem lower than most other apartments in the area. The neighborhood is also a pro. However, although the rents seem low, note that this landlord does not cover heat or hot water and each unit has its own boiler. The boiler is electric. This means that the costs of heat and hot water are passed on to the tenants through increases in your electricity bill. The electricity bill can add anywhere from $200 to $600 per month to your costs. Almost all landlords in NYC cover heat and hot water. Lastly, I agree with the previous poster that maintenance is not as great as it could be. I did find the management (Lou) here to be much easier to work with than other landlords, but there is now new management (Livingston Management) and they are not as nice as Lou and never answer their phones. Just realize that the true cost includes an additional $200 to $600 and add that to your rent.

I think a lot of these reviews are from employess......I have been here less than a year and turst my experience has been way way less than steller. Management/maintenance sucks. I will say the maintenance manager is professional and he tries, from what i understand, but it will still take you forever and a day to get things fixed. Ive met people in my building who have the same complaints, i referred a co-worker who moved in to a different building owned/managed by this rental company and they have the same complaints.......

PROS: Move in was fast.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. If I am giving this 1 star that means something must be really wrong I mostly see things on the positive side and try to give people the benefit of the doubt. The secretary mysha is very rude. Let me explain I traveled from queens to come into the Bronx location with my 9 month baby. Mysha watched me struggle with the door when I was trying to get in. Her desk is literally 2 feet from the door. But hey she isn't obligated to help me so that's fine right. she was on her cell phone and the whole time I was standing there she is not even acknowledging me or even tell me to hold on. But ok it's common sense right to just hold on when someone is on the phone. I am not sure how long her phone call will be so I am like let me have a seat then to stand up in front of her while listening to her on going conversation. As I push my stroller towards the seating area she then pause her conversation and says you can leave the stroller right there so I assume she is about to end the call to speak to me so I said ok. She continues her on going conversation so I told her I am going to have a seat and she then says you cannot take the stroller over there just leave it no one is going to take it. But why have a seating area where strollers are not permitted. She expected me to leave my baby in the stroller by the entrance because they have a no stroller policy on there carpet. How unprofessional. I was upset But instead of going back in forth I just stood there. Then she asked me what are you here for I explained and she took my Id and paper work to make a copy and said she would give me a call. I was like wait hold on I spoke to her on the phone the day before and told her I was coming from queens. So I thought we would be going to see apartments today. So I ask couldn't I have faxed this information instead of traveling all the way here she said yea you could of but you didn't. Something she failed to tell me over the phone. Throughout this whole conversation from the beginning she was just so rude you can hear the aggressiveness in her voice and she just had a attitude the whole time.So me then finding out I traveled all the way here just to be treated this way and then on top of that I could of faxed this information. I then told her she can throw out my information. I have a program so I assume she felt that I was desperate and just treated me any kind of way. I am a nice person but I don't care what position I am in I would not do business with someone who is just so disgustingly rude when I've done nothing to them. God will give me another opening. They will not be getting any money from me or my program. I advise you if you don't want to get out of character don't waist your time and money going here. Because I was this close of telling her about herself but Instead I just ripped up my paper work and silently walked out.

One of the worst Rent Apartment Management in the Bronx. No cleaning of apartment,most apartments leaks, no elevators and longer rèsponse to issues. Apartments are almost hundred years with in adequate maintenance.Find a different Management. A word to a wise is enough.

They’re great! Super professional and accommodating. Everyone I know in my building has nothing but good things to say about the landlord and the operation as a whole. Once I decided I wanted to rent last year it only took 20 minutes from start to finish to lock it in and when I decided to renew it took even less! Highly recommend.

We've complaint about our neighbors the running that their kids do,is out of control.
We've been to the office,written letters.gine upstairs they don't open the door. All we ask is that management brings this to their attention. Our bathroom ceiling is cracking because of their constant running .yes they jump in the bathroom ,in the kitchen, the whole apt. As I'm writing this they're jumping now. Please bring this to their attention. We need some peace of mind.

This company is HORRIBLE at managing buildings. I live on 1001 Home Street (DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT. ) and they do not upkeep the property and apartments but have the NERVE to raise rent. They only care about rent checks to be honest and not much else. Also customer "service" is not very helpful. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN...

THIS COMPANY WRITES OUT FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS! BEWARE! i was looking for a room for rent. I reached a guy named Cadell who works for this company. The advertisement read " King size bedroom $600.00"...so i contact him and tell him i want to look at it, He lets me know i have to be there by 10am the next day. The next day comes, and i get there around 10:15am. I call him and let him know i was at the location. I was expecting him to be either walking to the location or driving there to meet me, it turns out the dude actually lived in the same house on the first floor of the house, I was okay with it, but then i go inside and this guy has on sweatsocks and sandals, sweat pants and a tee shirt. He looked like he just woke up. He takes me upstairs to go look at the room, and it turns out the room he was renting that was on the Ad was $800.00 a month without utilities included. I asked "where is the 600 dollar room that was on the ad? he then goes and shows me the room, and it literally looked like a box, and wasnt even on the ad. You couldnt even put a twin bed in there. I wouldve expected someone who was serious about renting a room to look more presentable and add more lighting to the house so you can see where everything was. This house was so damn dim and all the curtains were closed letting in NO LIGHT! then he finishes off our meeting by saying "you have to give 2 months rent, 1 month security and 40 dollars for an application fee, im thinking to myself "im renting a room, not an apartment, why am i being charged so much??? this was a complete trainwreck....I'll never go look at anything from this company again if this is how they do business. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

BEWARE OF THESE OWNERS/MANAGEMENT.
These are brand new buildings. NO real heat in winter, NO hot water or water pressure all year round, NO clean hallways, elevators, stairwells. HUMAN AND DOG FECAL MATTER IN THE HALLWAYS, ELEVATORS, INCINERATORS in buildings with no windows in the hallway. PWB/managers constantly harassing for rent you don't owe due to their crooked operations. People serving you 3 day notices at late hours of the night on balances that don't exist. The owner has been present as tenants are getting beat up in the elevator and at another time at the entrance of one of the buildings, this tells you the elements in these buildings and the kind of landlord/owner. As a result, their management feels they have the right to humiliate and intimidate the tenants that dare call the city for basic services.

Horrible customer service! I called 6 times on a weekday from 11am-4pm inquiring about an apartment and the time it went through, they hang up on me. What a great experience with these "professionals".
