My go to Taco spot. Carnitas are the best I have ever tasted in two countries. Cash only.

I had the Caldo de Pollo to go. The soup didn't have any flavor, only had 1/4 of a potato, 2 pieces of carrots, couple of cabbage leaves, 1 chicken leg and thigh. However, it didn't come with rice. It did have about 6 tortillas (the small ones that they use for tacos). Other restaurants that serve Caldo de Pollo serve it with rice. Maybe if they served it with rice, I wouldn't have to make a sandwich to satisfy my hunger.

I ordered 3 street tacos and a bean and cheese burrito, it took a minute to explain what a bean and cheese burrito was and the cashier was even confused when I said it in Spanish.
The bean and cheese turned out okay but the 3 street tacos where terrible. The meat was flavorless and like chewing wood chips.
Overall the place gets one star cause for the price I paid for my items the quality was severely lacking.
Oh and CASH ONLY?!?? REALLY???

A decent authentic Mexican place. Be aware that it is cash only. I have had better tacos, both in Mexico and in DFW, but it isn't bad. My Spanish is very rusty, which made it very hard to order. So be aware of that if coming here. It is a good price for what you get though.

DELICIOUS!
After a few years (I used to live around here)
I’d came back to have dinner here and it was delicious!
Highly recommend this place, still a great antojitos full of flavors.
Thanks!

I've been here three times and had three amazing dishes. The cuisine here is what I would call "real Mexican"– it's not Tex-Mex, nor is it some chef's hip modern take on Mexican that's adapted for American palettes to the point that it loses its Mexican-ness. Instead, it's an honest plate that tastes like something you'd eat if you were in a Mexican home in Hidalgo.
Note for my fellow Americanos: there's a picture menu above the register. Use that if you don't feel comfortable ordering in Spanish or you've been slacking on your Duolingo.

ONLY CASH. Translation: This food is fricken legit and amazing. Ordering can be a bit of a challenge sometimes if you aren't fluent in Spanish but if you're kind and try to use some Spanish they'll do the same with English. My girlfriend and I have a gone a few times and my Spanish vocabulary is growing with each visit! I 100% recommend this place to anyone craving Mexican food , this is not Tex-Mex by any means!
