Ordered pan fried dumpliing (large, 12pc, A$18.8), Prawn-egg-chives dumplings (Large 15 pc, A$19.8), beef kebab (A$12), salt and pepper squid (A$15). salt and pepper squid is definitely the the favorable among them all. There is a special promotion going on: over $15 order, they give you a small sample of chicken wing, chicken salad or tea.
Loved it! was craving for some hot and fresh dumplings, went there 3 days in a row and loved it! clean and hygienic, also try their honey chicken, very yum
The dumplings here is gold, very yummy, I ordered soup dumpling. Pawn twistier is good as well, the chicken is very average, I never had it with opinion before and there are too much onion and too little chicken. The front desk lady was very nice.

Established in July 2022 by Alana Li and Ying Bai, Oriental Dumpling King is the place for Chinese dumpling connoisseurs, with 6 different dumpling varieties freshly hand-made each day. Offering both steamed and fried dumplings, they quickly gained a following.

Ambience is modern casual, with the warmly lit place arrayed with rows of functional wooden furnishings. Along one wall is a self-service area for customers to help themselves to beverages and condiments.

Service works hard but can sometimes be slow, due to lack of manpower. That said, staff are friendly and polite, demonstrating decent product knowledge and offering recommendations. Cleaning up is occasionally completed fast, other times slow.

Food is Chinese cuisine, focused on dumplings and light bites, made fresh daily with quality ingredients. Tasty and enjoyable. Portions are sized for individuals, or for communal group dining and sharing. Prices are reasonable, budget about AUD $27 per person.

The Spring Roll (AUD $8.20) version here is suitable even for vegetarians, with a satisfying crisp crunchy juicy texture, the piping hot filling carrying lovely vegetal sweet earthy salty savoury peppery spice flavour. Enjoyed this immensely.

The Dumpling Prawn Egg Chives (AUD $15.70) bursts with a juicy tender texture, and carries lovely sweet savoury eggy vegetal herbal flavour. Best paired with some black vinegar and chili oil, for added sour spicy kick.

The staff in this shop are very friendly. The shrimp Sanxian dumpling has a thin skin and a large filling. Each dumpling is very full. It reminds me of a very authentic Northeast dumpling I tasted in China. Next time I'll try dumplings with other fillings.
Fast service and loved the pork belly rice. Very tasty. The dumplings also taste different from the usual ones I ate. Very fresh. Must eat with vinegar for enhanced taste.
Went out for dumplings + mains during Fringe. (EDIT: Fri 8 March, 8pm) The dumplings were nice enough, noodles very mid, but most importantly was not impressed by service:
I have nut allergies and made it clear multiple times with the server I could not eat nuts/peanuts. I was dismayed when our cucumber and bean salad came back sprinkled with peanuts! I brought this to our server’s attention and he went to the kitchen and was back within a minute… but we could see the debris of some missed peanuts which they had scraped off the old dish! Massive cross contamination risk.
So I went to confirm they knew it was a serious health risk for me, and was assured yes, yes I know. You’ll never guess was on the noodle dish we ordered…!
We were encouraged by other reviews but unfortunately cannot agree with them in our experience. Self serve condiments was a nice touch to atmosphere, though.
