Woolworths Leichhardt Marketplace

Medium sized Woolworths with BWS liquor attached to it. It’s fairly busy most of the times, there is direct access from underground the car park , and there is ramp access from the top floor. The shopping Center has no electronic parking so u can park whole day if u wanna shop at Woolworth, aldi , target and fresh fruits and vegetables market.

Fruit and vegetables shelves are often half empty and staple items, like bread
are missing especially in the late afternoon or evening. Prices for many items seem higher than at Coles or Aldi. Very friendly staff though.

Picking up online order is a hassle. Nobody gives a response at the door and have to wait alot of time just to wait for an employee to come. It’s better to just do your own groceries. It takes the same time tbh.

I dislike the duopoly and price gouging as much as the next person (shop at Flemington as much as I can where produce is 1/3 the price and better) but what really annoys me about this store is that products are often incorrectly priced on the shelf. Best avoided!

Never answer the phone, delivery is Uber and not one Uber delivers all my items. The old Woolworths delivery DID.

Staff are helpful. Store is poorly stocked. Online order pickup… complete joke. The Uber pickup people clog up the system standing around being rude to staff, not aware when their order is ready and normal pick up people have to fight their way to the front to get the pickup. Send these guys to another pickup spot out the back.

Update. This Woolworths has improved, however woolworths HQ mentioned the manager would contact me. He never did.

The store is so poorly maintained. Woolworths HQ please address the store manager!

Safety risk! The refrigerators near the mushrooms and salad have been leaking so much water for over 2 weeks plus! I've complained to the store directly (deli department). They immediately mopped up the water, however the manager has failed to resolve the issue! For weeks!

Whilst these photos look like something is being done.... Wet floor signs and mops and buckets should be a temporary immediate response! Not a permanent fixture!
