Unfortunately, they have one of the worse policies. Everything is done through a third party which means you have to install and register to all their apps. For instance, for mail you need to use an app, where you must registered. For internet you need another account with a different party. In fact I never found internet connection stable in the past 6 months, so good luck with that. For payment you must register and share sensitive info like SSN with another party. It seems like all this is intended to collect data which is of course worth selling. I dont feel comfortable sharing so much information with different agencies unnecessarily and neither should you. No to mention the sulky attitude of the office managers. Good luck if you chooses to live here.

In response to The View’s reply under my review, I still don’t see an apology for the attitude of your staff. Instead, the response seems to shift the blame onto the residents for the dissatisfaction caused by your management. This lack of accountability only adds to the frustration.

First of all, I would like to clarify that I did not ask your staff to kill the bug for me. It was raining yesterday, and after standing outside in the heavy rain for over twenty minutes, I decided to ask for help. However, all I received was an unappreciative attitude. While we did not report any bugs or cockroaches initially, would reporting them even resolve the problem immediately? Are we supposed to just wait and watch the bugs or cockroaches fly around the unit while waiting to submit a request and for you to come and fix the problem? This would only cause anxiety for everyone in the unit.
When I first moved in, there were already two bugs inside the apartment—one was a worm the size of my finger, and the other was a spider the size of my palm. Other bugs were seen in my roommates' rooms. Clearly, pest control hasn’t been done, or there wouldn’t be this many bugs present.

Second, regarding the parking situation. Do you think I haven’t tried to park within the community, even though the parking lot near my unit is always full? I reported this problem over the phone when you called for a survey on 9/14/2024.

As I mentioned earlier, I completed a phone survey with your team on 9/14/2024, during which I also reported the maintenance issues. If our maintenance request was not submitted successfully, why weren’t we notified so that we could resubmit it? Your staff clearly has records of our maintenance request history, which proves that you are not prioritizing residents' concerns or addressing problems promptly.

Lastly, regarding "RentPlus," when did residents receive emails from "The View Apartment" notifying us that we would be automatically enrolled in such a program? I receive a tremendous amount of junk mail every day, and you expect me to check my junk folder daily? If the program is optional, residents should have the right to enroll at their own discretion, rather than being automatically enrolled. To opt out, we have to waste around five minutes searching our email for "RentPlus," figuring out what it is, and then going to the website to cancel it. If we wanted it, we would enroll ourselves.

The View is the worst, and the living experience is TERRIBLE. I would rate a 0 star if I could.

1. The staff is unfriendly, especially McKenzie and Makayla, who claim to be the managers.
2. They sign you up for a third-party service called "RentPlus," which charges $8.95 per month without notifying residents or obtaining consent.
3. They do not conduct any pest control. Bugs, cockroaches, and moths are all over the place, both inside and outside the units. They claimed this is “Mother Nature’s land” and said there isn’t much they can do, but pest control should be the bare minimum.
4. The kitchen disposal often spits out trash when turned on. We were told this happens because we put too many fruit and vegetable skins in it, which supposedly caused it to jam. But isn’t that what the disposal is for?
5. During the in-person tour, we were only shown a premium unit and were told the only difference between the standard and premium units was that one had carpet, and the other had flooring. Based on this, I signed the lease, but it turns out the units are completely different. The furniture is old and unfinished, the chairs are broken, the wardrobes are scratched, and the carpets are moldy. Every time we report these issues, we’re told to submit a maintenance request, but the request we submitted in August still hasn’t been addressed by October.
6. You won’t find a parking spot anytime after 6 PM. You'll have to park at the Valley, another apartment complex, and risk having your vehicle towed.
7. TVs are not provided, or you'll have to pay an extra fee of around $15 per month. While I don’t necessarily need a TV, it’s frustrating that this wasn’t communicated before signing the lease. This should have been disclosed upfront.

If you’re paying similar rent, I strongly recommend going somewhere else, like the Yards or Aspen, for a much better living experience. The environment and service at The View are not worth the money, especially with such terrible staff.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could this staff member named Katie Ishler is incredibly unaware of how a toilet works. They tell me it’s a clog that resulted in 2 inches of water being all over my section of the apartment even though I called up 2 experts who have been doing this for years and they said that that much water could never result unless there was something else wrong with the toilet than just a standard clog. I am also not convinced the toilet was clogged in the first place. They will do anything to save a few bucks and refuse to sanitize my carpet for something that was wrong with their toilet. My apartment now smells like wet dog and I have to clean up a problem caused by them out of my own pocket because they refuse to listen to reason. These people suck at their jobs DO NOT LIVE HERE!

Nice landscape setting and spacious rooms. Cleanliness can be better though.

Renewing was the best living decision I made! I was offered a great renewal rate and it was leaps and bounds better than any other apartment in the area. It is currently my second year at the view and the only reason I am not renewing this year is because I’m graduating. If I was here for another year I’d be living here again for sure. Best bang for your buck, plus it’s a beautiful place to live with a great and incredibly helpful staff!
