This place was So Much Fun! We did the Koala photo experience and while you can't touch or hold the koalas, you get closer to them than from the general viewing area, and the keeper can tell you the history of the bears there. 💯 enthusiastically recommend!

Enjoyed the Koala Breakfast at the zoo. Arrived at 7:30 and got a tour of the zoo before breakfast (and before it opened to the public). Justine was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and had great energy. Buffet style breakfast was around 8:30. There were at least 10 koalas around and you could get up as much as you wanted to take photos. We were lucky enough to see a couple of joeys! Around 9:30 Justine began taking photos of people with the koalas. By 10 we had our photo taken and then we went and walked around the zoo a bit more.
For me, it was definitely worth the price for the experience. The only slight negative was waiting for breakfast til 8:30. Maybe eat a light snack if you're like me and wake up early and are hungry right away.

If the goal is to see koalas, I would definitely recommend it!
There is a koala in a position that you can reach if you reach it.
If you pay 30 dollars, you can take a picture with a koala.
But touch is impossible.
There are not many kinds of animals, but the accessibility is so good.
There is an opportunity to feed or touch.

Short and sweet attraction, not many animals to watch but it was good experience for us. I especially went for koala 🐨 and very satisfied watching them because we got lucky they woke up exactly on our arrival 😄
For me, main attraction was koala then crocodile 🐊 aligaltor, kangaroos 🦘
Oh there was wallabies and Tasmanian devil too(flexing cuz we see lot of them here in Tasmania 😎)
Great to hang out with family. 🙂

Such a terrible attraction. The exhibits were very limited and the place was almost empty inside. We visited Currumbin a few weeks ago and we’re amazed by the open area and the joy of all the animals. Here, the animals are confined to tiny little spaces, with barely any real nature, and close to the smog of the city, and the animals look very sad and unhappy. It really should be relocated to an open air space!

The environment smells good (they put some perfume over there?)

Animals are being kept very well. All of them looks good 🤩

Kinda sad about the koala photos. Couldn’t hug or touch those cuties 🥹🥹

The kangaroos were so cute and friendly, glad I went a little earlier cos there weren’t too many people. Relatively small zoo but very informative on the animals and well designed.
