First update. Thank you, planet fitness owner. Plus one star ⭐ for a quick response. You asked if I shared with the facility manager. I asked the attendant how I could share my comments with management. She told me that she had put it ticket in for the lack of CNN channel and lack of volume on the other CNN channel. The answer is no, I do not know how to share a comment with management. I will be happy to and of course I will update my review at that time.

Today's experience was less then stellar. I usually leave five stars for everything I rate. Please see my notes There was no CNN on the main bank of TVs. The volume did not work on the secondary bank of TVs. Minus 1 star. This is important to me. I got little, very little help from the staff. She wouldn't even agree to report the TV problem. Her point was that Somebody else comes to set up the TVs. After she didn't answer my question as to whether she would report it, I asked directly. Will you report it or not? She agreed to report it. Minus 0 points anyone can have a bad day or a bad attitude so what! It was very difficult to sign up for the hydro massage. I had to scan my card five times, she asked me to keep it out cuz I had to scan it again. She asked multiple times if I had a black card, clearly I did since I was able to sign in. 😞 , I usually get great service. Today, not so much. Maybe next time. Minus one point on the difficulty hitting a hydro massage. That is also important to me.
The massage chairs were off limits. Some equipment not working meh, report it. Lots of equipment not working combined with marginal service and an overall poor experience equals minus three points total. I hope someone is listening.

Every morning I walk into the gym, I get greeted by the most friendly smile and laugh from Sam behind the desk.
What a great employee to have who’s always cheerful and full of joy. If I only I could find/hire my own employees to be as wonderful as Sam!

This specific gym charges a late fee after you already paid and canceled your members ship several months prior to today I have been out of town for the past 6months and could not deal with this as you HAVE TO COME IN TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP. ALSO THIS MANAGER WAS INCREDIBLY DISRESPECTFUL BLAMING ME. for not paying saying I have a credit card never had a credit card in my entire 33years of existence. Where the gym itself is nice it is not consumer friendly neither is the company planet fitness. Theu want to steal your money and entrap you to having a line of cash flow for themselves. I will get my money back.

My brother and I have been going to Planet Fitness for a couple months. I have seen a significant change in how it operates and the cleanliness. Angel has been a great addition in that. She has been awesome! . Angel has been one of my favorites. She had a welcoming smile, greets us with enthusiasm and makes coming into the gym enjoyable. She’s a keeper!

Love this gym, the price is great for the amount of equipment and availability of 24/7 access. Much cleaner than our previous gym. My ONLY qualm is the lack of 45lb plates for the leg press and smith machines. If all machines are occupied the chance of one or more ppl not having enough weights becomes an issue.

I’ve been going to the downtown and valley locations for a few months now - I really love the intent behind these being gyms for every body. So far I have had minimal interaction with staff but they all seem nice. Check in is easy with the app, bathrooms and lockers have been clean and there’s always enough equipment for a good workout. I’m giving it four stars because I’d love more space for using free weights. There’s one corner with mirrors on the wall and it gets crowded fast in the evenings.

I’ve been a member at NW Blvd for over four years and the condition of the gym right now is worse than it ever has been. The door on the only private dressing room in the ladies locker room has been off its hinges for almost a year. There are machines down that have been down for months, and it’s becoming painfully obvious how little attention is being paid to maintenance. All that happens when you email in to discuss this is you get told to talk to the manager. I have talked to the manager who does not have a clear timeline on any repairs. Some of these repairs are as simple as replacing bolts. Two machines were missing pins and were down for over a month. Speaking to the manager doesn’t work, emailing concerns doesn’t work. How is a paying customer supposed to justify a gym membership at a gym that no longer maintenances equipment. So disappointed in the continued lack of response on this issue.
Ironically as you can see, the owner yet again requested pics emailed to [email protected] even though I posted them directly in the review. It’s as if the intention is to keep the customers pointing out the concerns about the condition of the gym in an endless loop of useless communication all while the maintenance of the equipment continues to be ignored. This is an absolute joke.
