I have had many good experiences here. I came to this office a year ago for help. Because I don't have any work experience and I don't know how to find a job. With the help of the staff here, I got the idea to be a warehouse worker. Then they introduced me to the forklift training, taught me how to make a resume, and trained me how to answer questions in an interview. To increase my chances of being employed, they helped me apply for the wage subsidy. With these help, I finally found a job. In the process of working, there are also a staff member who do check-in regularly. I feel like they really concern about my situation and are always ready to help. Now I am still employed, and I am very happy to work there. I can proudly recommend work bc to everyone, especially with this office. They really care about the candidate's success. Words cannot express how grateful I am.

Had a very positive experience recently with WorkBC. They were well organized, supportive and very informative on helping me find employment in a difficult situation for me personally. They have very kind, knowledgeable and empathetic staff with useful informational resources and computers even though they were a bit dated. My counselor helped me with career advice including possible change of profession, job applications, customizing cover letters and resume construction. I am very grateful I went and they were a big help in me finding my current employment.

I feel local residents can benefit even more greatly from WorkBC if more government support is allocated into services such as this to make it even better than it already is!
