Community Manager, Connie, was attentive, caring, and went above and beyond to make sure my roommate and I had all the info we needed before, during, and after our tour. She was responsive to emails and phone calls and always received our questions with a positive attitude. If you rent here, I know you'll be in good hands with management.

Every time I have any maintenance requirement, it has been resolved quickly without ever a need to follow up.
Recently I had raised a service request at night and by morning Javier Rivera from maintenance team was there to help me. He resolved issue quickly and is very professional.

TL;DR: Avoid Apartment #1309 at any cost, even if they give the apartment for free!

Do NOT even think about living in the North 1309 apartment, unless you enjoy hearing every single movement of your upstairs neighbors and the sound of their flushing toilet. It's absolutely pathetic how poorly this building is constructed with such thin walls. You'll never get a good night's sleep here because you'll constantly be jolted awake by the thunderous noise from your neighbors above and endless creek noise while the upstair neighbors move, forget at night it's just annoying even during the day! Keep in mind this is even after using earplugs and having white noise at night, so one could imagine the quality of the ceiling.

Don't bother asking the management for help either. They just try to be helpful, but there is absolutely no solution. Our neighbor upstairs just moves all over the house the whole night dropping things and making all possible noise, and upon informing the courtesy patrol, they just responded that they won't be able to help with it as the person just moves around the house even if it's late night nor did the management do anything about it.

Also, the air leaks from the patio door and windows due to broken seals make it impossible to keep the apartment warm during the winter, and you'll end up paying an arm and a leg for your electricity bill. The response from maintenance staff for this was, "this is the best an old house can do".

The management was not very helpful when we asked for their help to move to a different house inside this community. The only option they had for us was to move to a loft house or a two-bedroom house, as lateral moves to another 1B1B apartment were not allowed. We were hoping that the management would help us, but it seems like they are more concerned about their policies than the people living in this community.

And don't even get me started on the water clogging issue near building 12 and 13. It was like living in a swamp. We had to jump around constantly just to avoid getting our shoes wet, but most of the time it was of no use, we were leaving with dirty shoes anyway, which added to our misery. This problem was partially rectified after months of notifying the management and it's not completely rectified even now!

In summary, avoid the North 1309 apartment community at all costs. It's an absolute nightmare to live here. The thin walls, noise, unhelpful management, air leaks, and broken window seals make it a living hell. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a place to live. If you happen to take this apartment before you read this review, I'm sorry for you!

Will update this review based on how the management handles with the move out costs for us, we have suffered enough here.

I recently needed the assistance of the maintenance team when my washing machine stopped working properly. It had been running like a champ for several years, but finally washed its last load of towels.

Hakim (maintenance tech 2) and Javier Rivera (maintenance tech 3) were incredibly professional and quick to perform a complicated install of a new machine after diagnosing the issue with the old washer. I'm very happy with the maintenance and management teams as they are always there to help. Thanks Hakim and Javier!

Beautiful community, above average amenities. Unfortunately, the apartment had a litany of issues when moving in which caused many issues and was a negative experience. However, the staff were incredible and resolved issues expediently which ultimately redeemed the experience. The maintenance crew of Javier and Hakim were extremely competent at their work and made sure everything was in order, and Connie was great on the logistics end

Lakes community is an extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. Though I lived in the North block, both blocks was so beautiful that I felt like I was at a resort (surrounded by beautiful lakes) and at the same time conveniently located nearer to key places like groceries, shops & Microsoft offices. The leasing office staff (Connie, Jonas & all others) are extremely accommodating and friendly also. Maintenance team (Ben & others) is awesome & very prompt in attending the maintenance needs & helpful. Lakes has a lot of amenities to enjoy – gym is very nice, clean & has a lot of equipment, swimming pool, business center with a printer and cabana, movie room. Even when I had to vacate the apartment, the support I got from leasing office manager, Connie was very accommodative & empathetic. I would recommend this property anytime to choose as your “Home”...
