Beautiful island about 30 minutes from Toronto. You can either take the big boat or the water taxis. From what someone told me the big boat is free or a few dollars. I took a water taxi and arrived in about 15 minutes but it cost $15 per person. Once on the island there is so much things to do. You can walk or bike the whole place. There are small towers to see, beaches, and playgrounds for kids. I biked around the island and took pictures of the Toronto skyline (which come out great). Highly recommend visiting this island on a sunny day.
Went there on fall day, Sunday morning. Was not too busy. Beautiful lookout points. Had an opportunity to walk on the bridge. It was cool, windy and refreshing. On October Sunday morning fall colors were lovely. Beautiful view of Toronto
Live right by here but never tire of the view which changes with the weather and seasons. The lake is host to a variety of wildlife and migrating birds.
This place is so beautiful. Enjoy the ferry ride. Its 9 $ for 1 person. A great getaway from Toronto. You guys can do picnic there as well. Don't forget to visit the mini zoo there. Whole of the place is so pretty and mesmerizing.
Went to solo bike ride on a beautiful sunny evening at Tommy Thompson Park. Amazing scenarios, lots of bike riders around there. Will recommend anyone to go for a spin
A huge park with lot of space for walking and biking. Dogs must be on leash. Lot of benches and boulders to sit on. Views of docked boats and sailing ones on the lake are photo opps. Paid parking.

Beautiful part of Toronto to escape to nature at its finest. Car and dog free, a wildlife sanctuary full of birds, surrounded by water and green space. One of the best views of the city skyline from the lighthouse point. Bike or walk, spend the day and clear your mind.
Beautiful place. You will get an amazing view of the Toronto skyline. It's mostly crowded on weekends. Expect long queues on weekends to and from the island. Better to book the ticket online in advance for the ferry.

Best experience 🩵🩵! To reach island you need to take ferry from harbour front which will cost u 12.50$ cash or 14$ with tax! They offer other option as well which is one hour round trip!! We took first option in which we went to the island and returned in public ⛴️ ferry!
While going on island the city-line looks amazing! There are plenty of parks and 🧺 picnic spots are availabile !

This was a really interesting museum. If you are interested in locomotives and history, it's pretty amazing to think of what this was once used for. Also pretty cool to see the old rail cars and newer ones too. Have to say I appreciated the little gift shop too - prices that were not outrageous. Finally the little train ride was a good attraction too, not costly and seemed to interest kids and adults alike.
It's a gem if a place to visit in the city. No dog signs and enforced for wandering rangers. Long walk to the waters end. No shade. Carry water.
Cute little park to eat your lunch at or stroll around. Right by the mall too - plenty of benches and green space to lay a blanket and enjoy a meal or snacks :)

I’ve lived across the street from this park for over 10 years and it’s a great park. Lots of green space, picnic tables, a little park for kiddos, a brewery, and a couple restaurant options - and a train museum! They run a little train during the summer you can ride around - best way to see the whole park. Steam Whistle has an annual summer and winter beer festival that’s great. I have so many pics to share through my many years so I’ll try to keep it at a minimum:) - It’s my favorite park in the whole city :)
We've been going to this park for over 20 years to watch the air show on the September long weekend and have never been disappointed. The park has a playground for the kids, a public pool, and a splash pad. The park is clean. Dogs must be on a leash.
I had a lovely time at Center Island! Beautiful walking trails, plenty of cozy spaces. Perfect for a picnic, small family parties, time alone on the beach/ water front, hiking, and cycling. Don't miss the William Meany Maze and the beautiful kid friendly gardens. The bike rental place on the Island closes by 5pm so bring your own bike or rent from harborfront before getting on the ferry if you plan to go later in the day. Not too many options for food so bring yours if possible. Long wait lines for ferry but you can choose to take a water taxi which costs more. I'm definitely going back again!

This is the most beautiful biking trail in Toronto. The best part is from cherry beach to Tommy Thompson Park.
A long beach trail, along with the waters, an enjoyable bike ride. The view points have been chosen with a lot of deliberation because the view of CN tower is simply breathtaking. Nice sitting area. Very we’ll maintained.
Visited here 3 times in a week.The first time we walked and swam.Second time we took bikes over from our hotel and cycled the whole island and had a swim.Third time we canoed and had a swim.

Nice park for an evening walk
This is one of the best parks in town for a quick getaway trip. Easily accessible from the heart of downtown Toronto, It has a great view of the skyline, areas where you can watch the sunset, loads of picnic area, multilple beaches, bike rentals, and much more to do! It does get very crowded in summers. The view does not get old, though!
Great park for the Toronto views and a little day of afternoon getaway. With the beaches, boardwalk, parks and pier it makes a lovely location. For tourists and locals. Easy to reach with a boat departing back and forth every 15-20 minutes. Took me about 2-3 hours to explore and enjoy.

Neat and peaceful waterfront for a quick picnic. There isn’t a lot of stone benches to sit though and no restroom. Parking lot is not big enough as well. Has a good playground and a very good trail for bikers.
The skyscrapers and CN tower view will be good and we were lucky enough to spot rainbow too.

Excellent way to remember our heroes of past
I love the place. If you are up to engines I think it's a must to visit this place where you can have a look of the different trains in the past. I recommend to try the Biergarten Restaurant in the place.

Excellent place for kids . I've been here twice, and both times have been amazing. Very friendly staff, efficient service. Nearby food truck Food was great.
Also a fun stop for grabbing a beer. Their tour is interesting. If you go, pull the whistle cord!

Love taking a stroll through the trail along waters edge. There are so many things to discover along the way. The views are spectacular of the city line. There is street parking as well as Green P. Usually on a nice day, the area is very busy so parking is hard to find. A handful of restaurants, food trucks one cafe, Tim Hortons closely around. There are a few benches but mostly people will sit on the rocks or ground.
Secluded, serene and beautiful. Wide walking and cycling tracks. Went for the sunset, stayed for the moonrise.

A nice little corner tucked into the heart of the bustling city. The monument there is quite unique! I didn’t get a chance to explore the food court underneath. Overall a good small place to walk around or just hang out with a friend.
Prefect place for a little day off strolling in the afternoon. Great lake view! Parking is kind of tricky however.
Nice open park area in the centre of the city. Located right near some other major attractions like Ripley’s Aquarium, CN Tower, Convention Centre, Rogers Stadium and more. There are a bunch of old train cars, engines and a caboose on site that are great to tour, photograph and just generally explore in the park. Fun spot for kids to visit.

In the food court, it seems like many places have closed or are closing /reducing hours for the holidays. (workers need time off too)

Beautiful little open space infront of the CN tower and behind the Ritz Carlton. There's a food court underneath which is handy to get to when it starts to rain.

Quite a lovely park just off Lake Ontario. It’s near enough tor hustle and bustle to walk to for a stroll, yet feels like you’re far enough to take a breath and relax.

Who knew there was a labyrinth right in the middle of downtown Toronto. While walking the area I noticed a sign directing you to the labyrinth and decided to go check it out. It is a large circle in Trinity Square with a path leading to the centre using paving stones of two tones. It was just an interesting way to spent a few quiet minutes tracing the route to the centre of the labyrinth. The square was also being used by a few homeless with tents set up but although I thought they probably question the logic of wandering a route through the Labyrinth, they just ignored us.

Love going on the weekend cause it's so quiet
In the summer, this park is quieter compared to its sister park HTO Park. There is also more shade as the willow trees are still standing and the buildings block the sun from the west side. Overall, a good place to go to enjoy some green space in the city.

Big life sized cows in a grassy space in the middle of big bank buildings, what's not to like?
There is nothing special about this place it's a good place to sit and eat your food or walk around , but it's relatively a small area located behind the CF Eaton Center next to giant trash bin!

My go to spot. This is my favorite spot in Toronto and can be found here too many times.
Not much to look at but there is shade and a grassy area to sit and eat lunch. The labyrinth wasn't all too impressive i.m.h.o, just flat concrete and map of the area to walk. Tried to get a better vantage point with the drone but got the dreaded "too close to an airport" warning. Nice place to relax for a bit but not much else. Some areas near the church have a few aggressive homeless people there so just be on your toes...
A park that's is mostly overlooked by the people. And it is great so it is empty most of the time!
Great view of the dock, the tower, the airport and the geese and ducks, of course. Has benches and a little attraction by the water : a fountain composition with trees and bushes surrounding it. Pretty nice.

The best veal sandwich in the world!!! I love everything they serve. This is not a quick meal, this is a meal to savour and enjoy. I've been eat there since 1992. Great family and great people. I recommend this place for anyone. All walks of life. Everyone should enjoy the traditional southern Italian food. If you are on the fence about this place, you must get off the fence and get to a California sandwiches.
Cute small Park for a good walk and outing
One of the best areas to walk in the city! Lake Ontario is so beautiful and awe- inspiring at any time of the year. Paved paths for both pedestrians and cyclists and also places to go where you feel like you're totally alone and out in nature. Remarkable!
One of the most enjoyable parks in Toronto and the largest to date just keeps growing. Now you can enter from Outer Harbour Marina Road and parking available across from the new entrance to the Pavilion.
A lovely park right across the street from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The CBC Broadcasting Centre is to the west, and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel is to the north.
Has a number of lovely pieces of art in the space, including the dramatic mountain as well as the sombre workers memorial that pays homage to those who lost their lives while at work.

The Toronto Public Labyrinth (formerly the Trinity Square Park Labyrinth) is Toronto's first outdoor labyrinth in a public park. Designed by Stuart and Mary Bartholomaus from Knoxville, Tennessee. The labyrinth was created out of turf grass, temporarily, but is now constructed out of paving stone. The labyrinth is 77 feet in diameter. It is a copy of the 13th century stone labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral in France.
Installation of the Toronto Public Labyrinth
The Labyrinth was installed as a Millennium project in partnership between Parks, Forestry and Recreation and the Toronto Labyrinth Community Network (TLCN). TLCN is a grassroots community organization which fosters the creation of labyrinths as meditation tools in the Greater Toronto Area. In partnership with Toronto Parks and Recreation and the nearby Church of the Holy Trinity, the group guided the creation of the Trinity Square Park Labyrinth as a Millennium Year project.
TLCN, in continued collaboration with Parks and Recreation, will also guide the development of the "Lasting Labyrinth", a permanent labyrinth feature of stone and grass, to be installed at Trinity Square Park.

Great park for a walk, it's an extension of the HTO park. Close by the music garden and chill. You can also board a water taxi for $10 ($5 if you negotiate further) to the islands

Very pleasant, spacious, cool oasis in the middle of downtown hustle and bustle. Centred between the Eaton Centre, Old City Hall, and containing one of the city's oldest churches, this is a perfect escape.

Place is pretty fool when they do the CBC kids day. The area is full but they need to place the bouncy castle near the shade. The line ups this year was better organized and PJ Masks was a huge hit 👍

The only good thing I could say about HTO Park West is that its south end has a great view of the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport landing strip. The few minutes we stood there we watched 2 small airplanes land. There is a drinking fountain located near Queens Quay W.
After passing the tall ship, Caledonia, anchored off the waterfront, and the Toronto Fire & Marine Station next to it, we continued on to HTO Park, touted as Toronto’s urban beach. It also has the slightly rolling green lawns of HTO Park West as well as the weeping willow trees and the paved walking loop paths, but its south end has a sandy beach (swimming not allowed), lots of yellow beach umbrellas and a few beach chairs.
Tip: Unobstructed view of the CN Tower on the east side for those wanting to take a pic of this Toronto landmark.
