Federal Hill Park is truly a signature landmark in Baltimore, Maryland. Located on the south shore of the Inner Harbor, this park offers visitors some of the most breathtaking views in the city. From our event room, we are fortunate enough to have large windows that frame the park's beautiful scenery, creating a serene and picturesque ambiance for our guests.

The park's most notable feature is undoubtedly its view of the downtown skyline of Baltimore. It is a sight that has been photographed and admired by many, and we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have this view as the backdrop to our events. Whether it is during the day when the sun casts a warm glow over the city, or at night when the buildings light up the sky, this view never fails to captivate our guests and enhance their dining experience.
I love to sit here and enjoy the breeze and watch the birds. There were even two black and white rabbits hopping around one day. It was beautiful. Always a beautiful experience.

Good place to go fishing and take photographs.
I photographed this couple at the canton waterfront as part of their elopement. It has so many great spots and views. Highly recommend this area for portraits of any kind. We also got lucky with a little rain so we were the only ones there!

This is a male/male hookup spot and not kid or family safe. Totally insane that the city of Baltimore allows this in a public park. Lots of drug activity. Needles and condoms litter the ground. Do not recommend coming here alone, especially at night.
So beautiful 😍 I love the place. Relaxing
Full of history and a great view of the Bridge and sunrise

Great time with the grandkids , playground right there took game's, potter pot there for the bathroom runs love
The park
Great view but has been not so family friendly. Was just up two weekends ago and they literally had 6 cop cars on patrol. Don't get me wrong makes you feel safer but what happen to the point they need all that enforcement.

Must to visit place if you want to enjoy the best view of the inner harbor area. 5-10 mins of hill climbing is required depending on where you park. There is toilet and playground in the park, but not sure when it’s closed.
It is very peaceful, quite a good place to relax

This is a very cool and fun old abandoned place to visit and take pictures. It's sort of a Graffiti Art Exhibit near Baltimore.
Baltimore Downtown is a great place to visit they have nice shops, restaurants, hotels, bars close by
This is a very scenic part of Baltimore, but the water was relatively polluted. Overall, I had a fun time in the area!
Another great performance by Seth Kinel, his Son and Bob Abbott at the Summer in the Square series. I live my neighborhood!!

Nice, clean park right with amazing views of the harbour. People will bring their blankets and relax on the grass or toss the Frisbee. Not too many people on weekday afternoon. You can catch the water taxi to Fells Point from this location.

a small and beautiful park next to the BSO.
The first monument to Washington in the United States. The marble column forms the centerpiece of the four park squares of Mount Vernon Place, a National Historic Landmark District. Entrance into the monument is free, visitors can also purchase a $6 ticket to climb the 227 steps to take in the impressive view of downtown Baltimore.

Must visit place near Inner harbor. The park is very peaceful and pleasant. Pet friendly park. You can enjoy the weekend with your friends and family. Picnic park for the weekend. Great view of the inner harbor from the top of the park. You can also get kids playground here.
Would recommend everyone visiting Baltimore to take a long walk down the entire harbor front river walk. So scenic and relaxing to take a slow walk while enjoying the beautiful views.

Beautiful park. Beautiful view. Clean. Kids were playing football. Others walking their dogs. It was a quiet and relaxing stop on our trip to Maryland. Love the open layout.
Beautiful place. Saw a couple having a picnic. Lots of people walking dogs!! When the weather is good take a trek, have Happy Hour at one of the waterfront restaurants nearby. You won't regret it. (Check with @charmcitytable for those recommendations)

We made several stops on our walk from Inner Harbor to Fort McHenry. We made a stop at Federal Hill. It was well worth the stop. The views of Inner Harbor are great from the top. Small park, monument, and a cannon are also worth the hike to the top.

Amazing staff!! They gave me lots of info and had an answer for every question. The stairs were worth it, amazing view!
Awesome views, definitely would be weary of your surroundings and have protection.
Yesterday I discovered that I have claustrophobia, please can you include some information for Spanish-speaking tourists, I have basic knowledge of English and I lost some details in the explanation, I could not finish to go upstairs since I felt very bad for the reduced space and the few windows, I almost fainted. Apart from that, the place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. please improve the signs at the monument. Thank you.

Park was clean for the most part other than the docking areas had trash that washed to the steps. Bathrooms were 3/10 definitely looked as though they haven't been cleaned in a while, exercise extreme caution with going into use it. Enough grassy area to have a picnic and benches or seating spread out throughout the park.

Easy to get to, next to a playground, and road gets minimal traffic.
Best place at the Baltimore Harbor to visit. Never to miss this place. Sunset was beautiful. Some people said Sunrise was the “best”. I believe them. The view of the downtown Baltimore is amazing. A nice park to lay down and enjoy the breeze. There are benches available to sit and of course a water fountain. There is a small place where children can play and enjoy. Overall a five start place.
The cost is $6.00 to go to the too of the monument. The view is absolutely fabulous. There are 227 steps to reach the top. Worth it though. Not too much space at the top. Will get crowded with 4-5 people.
Beautiful Park

I came here yesterday and was greeted warmly by the friendly staff. I was intrigued by the history of the very first "Washington Monument" that was built in George Washington's honor. To enter the monument is for free, but there isn't too much to see inside. For a small fee of $6 you can go up 227 narrow stairs to the top. Going up felt like going up a lighthouse, except the space seems a tad tighter. Once you get to the top you have a nice view of the Downtown/Mt. Vernon area with a slight breeze. Be forewarned that in order to enter and/or do the climb, masks are still required. Overall, this is definitely a landmark for anyone to visit while staying in Baltimore.
Stately, historic city park in the most gorgeous neighborhood of Baltimore.
A peaceful little park
One of my favorite landmarks in Mount Vernon, and also in Baltimore in general. Fascinating history, the uniqueness of the statue at the top, the various other elements surrounding the plaza - honestly, I'm still shocked we have had so much trouble picking a nickname for our city when James Madison said it best. 'Baltimore, the Monumental City'. It's got a nice ring to it, and sure sounds more plausible than 'The City That Reads', or 'The Greatest City' or even 'Charm City'. Maybe 'Birdland' is as accurate, but I digress. I have been here for the lighting ceremony, and that was a heckin' good time, I'll tell you what. I also have climbed the tower, which I strongly recommend if you are curious what your heartbeat sounds like to the other people with you on the climb. Doesn't sound to hard, but when you are roughly 450,000 stairs up it sure doesn't feel like the 210 or so originally promised. Or maybe my cardio is flagging somewhat. Either way, if you want to see black spots in your vision as you look over some amazing views of downtown Baltimore, this climb is for you! This was quite a fun place to visit, and I will be back here again! At the base, where the steps aren't.

It's a wonderful idea to honor a great American as is Harriet Tubman. The location is beautiful. Yet, the city has not kept it clean. In addition to the graffiti, the stand that once honored two traitors to the United States is still there with its inscription and donation by the white supremist & Baltimore banker Henry Ferguson. It would be great if, in its place, a statue that could honor Harriet Tubman and/or Frederick Douglas could be there.

Very nice lay back spot
Quaint, historic and charming square that takes you back in time. They host free events sponsored by the Mount Vernon Conservancy. Museums around the square offer free admissions.
It's a beautiful statue but unfortunately it has graffiti on it, done by ignorant people who don't know their history.

Nice park in Bolton Hill
Awesome walk along the water front. Lots of great shops.
The Baltimore waterfront promenade rhymes with peaceful walks.. with the fresh breeze and beautiful water scapes.. it’s worth the miles..
I recently just moved to the area. I live walking distance; and I have made this my daily jog and walking trail. Great scenery of the boats on the marina. Various nice restaurants and happy hour spots I will try with friends and my guy. I will definitely be renting and buying a boat from one of the many yacht center companies that sit on the waterfront. In addition, the water taxi is here located here as well.

Hellooo!! The monument is very well maintained... It is free if you want to get inside but you need to pay $6 if you want to go to the top for a view. No elevator. Jus stairs.

Theres a monitor where you can see live stream by cameras of the view from the top.

The area around is very nice too, especially the church in front...
Lots of dog walkers and kids. Students too. Nice benches and fountains and the Washington Monument.
Way cool old military installation from late 1800s to early 1900s underground tunnels , public beach and free boat launch’s definitely go during daytime only!!
Finally visited Federal Hill and it was nothing short of amazing. I entered into the lobby and they had an educational film that played and gave you alot of information on the fort and the U.S. in that time. It was unexpectedly emotional and does make you feel good to be an American. The condition of the fort was immaculate and well kept. They have the the cannons that were actually used in the battle, which are huge and really are impressive to be in the presence of. The view from the fort is awesome to look out from into the bay. The image of British ships holding positions firing cannons really does put into perspective the hell these pioneers were put through. Anyway, very pleased to finally see something with such relevance.
Nice place to take a stroll.

It wasn't what I expected when I arrived. There's a lower area which is Beautiful with a circular path to walk around. People were meeting with their dogs which were off their leash. Pitbulls at that. Although they seemed trained, being on alert was heightened. I noticed people living in the park in tents which lead to an uncomfortable feeling. I went their to relax, not stress about others life issues. I sat at the top part of the park area, where the statue was removed and noticed picture of deceased loved ones at the base of the statue of candlelight for a Memorial. Sat on bench for a few and left. Totally not what I expected.

There is a big caveat for my high rating: it is NOT a place for everybody. However, if you want to fish or explore in an area which is essentially an urban ruin where the forest is reclaiming the structures, or you are a photographer or someone who loves abandoned places, this is the spot for you. It is the best area for urban explorers I've encountered since the demolition of Henryton State Hospital. There is trash all around and there are dark tunnels which burrow deep into the darkness. Proceed with caution and avoid the place after nightfall, unless, of course, you love that kind of thing.

Nice place to walk my dog.
The nations first Washington monument, situation in the middle of a historic square. It's definitely worth checking out if you visit the city, you can even climb the monument for some awesome views of the city, there is a entrance fee only if you want to climb the monument. The square itself is worth seeing, it has two beautiful fountains as well as several bronze sculptures. Plenty of benches and small tables with chairs to stop and enjoy the beautiful neighborhood! Lots of good food within blocks.

Nice park, clean, green and well laid out. Dog enjoys visiting, and looking for the squirrels. Feels safe.
Needs a bit of walkway and lighting maintenance, but that may just be due to limited pandemic funding.
After the south and east, west mount vernon place is my favorite. Solid lion statue.

This is a beautiful park that is going through some construction right now but it's a peaceful area that is nice to walk or sit.
A small but beautiful little park in the heart of Baltimore. Charles Street has tons of restaurant options within walking distance and the Walters art museum is a stones throw away.
