I love this place, but don’t get the HiFi chicken sandwich. Might be one of the dumbest sandwiches I’ve ever ordered. It’s 6 basic chicken tenders with a little bit of coleslaw and a tiny order of fries. You pick up the sandwich and everything falls out. It’s like it was designed by someone who’s never eaten a sandwich before.. Anyway, still really like this place, but figured I’d warn anyone else that might want to try something new here.

This place is the best!!! The food is delicious, the portions are huge, the space is so nice, and the workers are awesome. Great cocktails, delicious teas and lemonades made in house. Urban belly is one of my wicker park favorites.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here!

The ramen broth was a little too sweet for my taste, but the phat style udon was phenomenal- I was concerned about pineapples as they are not my favorite toppings in a savory food, but it was diced into small pieces and went really nicely with the dish. Their kimchi tasted really good too.

I ordered delivery this time but I would love to visit in person as well.

Wow, the spicy katsu ramen was incredible. Loved the hot chicken bao buns as well. My wife got the lemongrass udon noodles and loved her dish. Incredibly friendly and kind service. Easy to order from QR code on table and is brought to your table. $3 PBR on draft, can’t beat it! We will be back!

No fuss byo style food. The fusion is on point and delicious. I got the salad which had a bit of everything, bbq dumplings and a $3 pint. No complaints at all, no reservations required.
This place has a very pleasant environment. The food is hot (temp) when you get it and the dish I ate had lots of veggies. All vegan, you don't have to worry about what you are eating unless it's spicy. Lol They have wheat or rice noodles. I will go back to eat.
The food was delicious, exactly what we needed after being stuck in a food wasteland over by the convention center. if you’re looking for some clean vegetarian or vegan friendly food, this is the spot to go!

Today I tried Chicago Raw for the first time. I was met by the owner upon arriving. She greeted me with a friendly smile and made me feel warm and welcome. She offered me a sample of pizza and two smoothie samples. Everything I sampled was amazing. I was so grateful for the experience. I began looking through the food that was displayed. Everything looked so delicious. It was hard for me to make a decision. The owner suggested that I try the sampler, which consisted of hamburger, pizza, a meatball and a dessert. In addition to the sampler I decided to purchase a lasagna for later. Both dishes were amazing. I’ve recently begun eating raw dishes. I was totally blown away by how flavorful the food was. I will definitely be frequenting this restaurant!
What a hidden gem in Wicker Park! YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS PLACE! The food was so bomb: Kashke Bademjan (Persian Mashed Eggplants), Zereshk Polo Morgh (Barberry Rice with Chicken), Lamb Kabob Plate, Persian Yogurt (with mint), Persian tea, and Persian ice cream! We emptied every single item! Also, we were fully immersed in its culturally rich atmosphere. It has a family-like vibe and it's beautifully decorated with lots of Persian arts and crafts. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. Price is awesome! Wow! REAL cool and unique restaurant!!

If you love ethnic food or want to go on a food adventure, this is a must-visit joint. We will be back again!

What a radiant hole in the wall. I was walking to Whole Foods and decided to pop in. What excellent-quality food, recipes, and health focus!! Mina (who worked the shop’s checkout today) was kind, bubbly, and helpful. She also said Polly (the owner) is kind, knowledgeable, and “always has a smile even on her bad days”. Cannot wait to come back and bring friends.
Some of the absolute best food I've ever had in my life, hands down. I tried the red curry with seitan and spring rolls - even a week later, I can still remember the taste; the warmth and perfect blend of flavors and spices. A must try.
I love Urban vegan especially for dining in! They give you huge portions for a great price and the food is so good. So far the spinach curry dumplings, orange chicken, and crispy tofu salad are my favorites but there’s so much more to try. I love it!
The flavor of the lamb chops are amazing!
Also nice portion for the price.
If not for the fat on a couple of my lamb chops and no lemon slice I would’ve given you 5 stars.
Came with my Vegetarian Aunt for lunch. I'm not well schooled in vegan cooking. Tried the entree The Dark Side of the Moon which has 2 kinds of mushrooms and lots of veggies over rice noodles with a black bean miso sauce. And YUM!! Loved it! Will take her back there and try more of the menu.

I really love this place. They customer service is wonderful and helpful. The desserts are divine and I rave about the slice of heaven and lemon bar. Only suggestion: check the best buy dates before you purchase especially if you are buying food for the week. Since its raw the shelf life recommendation is important.

A vegan dream! Our server Filip was so nice and the food was amazing. That garlic aioli can go on everything! There are so many things I wanted to order but I went with the Tequenos, Empanadas, and fried Cauliflower with a waffle.
Lamb chenjeh was good, but the Koobideh not! The restaurant owner was very polite and friendly, brought us Tahdig and didn’t charge. The tea kettle was so big enough for you to have bunch of teas after your meal while talking 😄 and it was not pricey which was impressive for me. He is very hospitable. I just wish there were played happy persian musics as well as the sad ones.

Yummm! This place has been on my list for a while and finally stopped by for takeout. I got the Big Daddy hot dog and tastes just like the real deal. Well seasoned, fries are thin and delicious. Staff was very prompt and friendly, and I’m very thrilled to be back and try other items.

This really was a nice spot! Very cozy and GREEN! No paper menus so make sure you charge your phone to scan the code. Kid friendly. I ate empanadas. They were good, fresh and filling. Only request would be, MORE KALE. The presentation was cute and I’m glad i caught a pic before i devoured. Thanks to Kevin for being my server. He was alone and held it down ✨💚

I came in passing through Chicago and Kale My Name definitely lived up to the hype I've heard. Coming all the way from Alabama, I definitely enjoyed the experience. I got a to go order and it was fresh and ready when I arrived. I had the Mac and cheese balls, broccoli cheese soup, and lemon cake. It was all amazing! The Mac and cheese balls had a perfect crunch, broccoli cheese soup was delicious, and the lemon cake was moist and flavorful. Service was immediate and very friendly.

Great option for vegan and vegetarian. The quality and flavor of our food was excellent. Prices versus the portions were very reasonable. Service was extraordinary. The entire team was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back and recommend two friends and family.
Food was Delicious! The lamb was fantastically cooked and tasted amazing. Barg (thin marinated ribeye steak) was tender and flavorful. Shrimp were delicately charred. Persian salad reminded me of cucumber salad a bit, little strong on the onion, it was an experience. The environment was well. The staff was attentive even the manager came by and spoke with us and refilled our drinks.
We came from out of town for a event and couldn't ever remember trying Persian food before. Glad this was my first experience with it.
GREATEST THAI VEGAN food I have ever had! Love LOVE love the jungle noodles! Yum! Also tried few different things there. This time it was orange soy chicken with brown rice. So yummy! My friend got rice shell pasta curry, it was spicy for me but if you eat spice regularly you will be fine, it isn't bad at all. Absolutely worth a TRY! Absolutely recommend this for all Vegans and fellow Vegetarians!!!
As a Jefferson Park native, the surrounding neighborhoods have a needed this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is peaceful. If you’re not Vegan, cool, but still give this food a try. It’s money well spent.
I have passed urban vegan many times when I have been driving around. Have to say this small local restraunt is a hidden gem! Let me get into it!

The food here is beyond amazing. I order the freshy roll and they were very fresh and every bite made me want more. The orange chicken is the best orange chicken I have ever had any where. If I could have this dish every day I would. The pad Thai reminded me of when I had it while I was vacationing in Thailand! The service was all star level. The waitress that served me walked me around the menu and filled my water when she saw it was low. Hard to find places where waitresses are that attentive. The atmosphere or ambiance like I like to call it, perfect. The natural light from the outside and the decor and music that placed really was pleasant.

Overall, I will say give urban vegan a try. The experience will want to keep you coming back as the food and service speak for themself!
Great vegan thai restaurant. One of the few all vegan places in the city. The portions are huge for the price. Would definitely go again.
I can not believe the American way they dispense things. I pay for extras that should come with it, and even after that I only get half of a 2 inch cup of hummus. I am very disappointed. It wasn’t delicious enough to be that skimpy, and hummus is cheap everywhere I think…

I love raw vegan restaurants for their creativity in creating dishes that requires little to no cooking, which is more challenging than one thinks.

The small shop is a womxn owned business and is a cozy, grab and go environment. There were a few seats by the window but I anticipate most people will swing by for something and be on their way.

For breakfast, I ordered their Acai Bowl ($15) with fresh fruit, protein powder, and granola. It was a decent sized portion and everything was blended nicely, although their granola felt a bit hard. But you really can't go wrong with acai and other freshness in the morning.

They sell a variety of takeout meals including wraps, sushi, lasagna, etc., and yes, all of it is raw so you're really benefiting from all the natural vitamins and minerals in whole foods. It's definitely on the steeper end but I appreciate that it's available to the masses.

Honestly one of the worst meals I've ever had. The beef had not melted shredded mozzarella and the cheese sauce was curdled and chunky. They gave the cup half empty when I opened it so I went back to request a full cup of cheese considering it's $5.99 for the cheddar fries then the person in the kitchen said "what's wrong with it?"
I regretted asking for it altogether.
Also $33 total for two people. Yikes!
Healing food for the mind, body, and soul for sure!
Your vibration is raised as soon as you pull up to this sacred restaurant. In need of healing I had to come to this restaurant.

My first choice is all RAW foods pulled straight from the trees and ground and straight into my body as it’s in its purest and natural form and that is what these energetic bodies need.

Food:
Jade Maki Sushi Rolls was good. Lacked flavor. I am someone who enjoys herbs and seasonings on food to wake up everything and then it will be a dance party in my body.

Seaweed and Spinach soup was a delight and very tasty.

Mung bean pancakes had no flavor at all. I did enjoy the fact that it made my body feel really good and comforted.

The Wolf’s Dream entree was ok. I’m learning although I love flavors in a massive way I’m more so concerned that my energetic body absorbs as many nutrients as possible and this restaurant makes sure of that by not serving you any toxic items. Most if not all is body safe.

Drink
Ginger Energy Tea was delight.

Very generous portions. Affordable prices. Street Parking. You get a discount if you pay with cash. There’s a 3% processing fee with credit/debit cards.

Customer service can use some help but overall it was a joyous and magnificent experience.

Wholeness and Infinite Love To All!

All of the food was for me.

We came here for two days in a row around brunch time while visiting Chicago. There aren't many healthy plant based options in the city. The food does not disappoint. We had the smoothies, the bowls and some desserts and all were delicious. The owner is extremely friendly and personable. A highly recommended stop for all plant based fans in Chicago.

Alright. I'm from Canada and feel like I got robbed here. $6 USD for the smallest and saddest hot dog with "cheddar". I don't know my freedom units, but I'm thinking that hot dog was maybe 1oz MAX in weight. SMALL af! That was also not cheddar in any shape, way, or form my dear friends from the south. Your city is great and I had lots of fun, but this place was so bad I couldn't wait to get WiFi and leave this review. Sorry (not really though).
Great food! Really good wraps and hummus. Only downside was the pita that came with the hummus was rock hard and very dry. Not sure how this happened. Everything else was v fresh and good but the pita seemed v old.

It’s 1am, I’m hungry. I make an order at Taco Bell and they mess everything up so badly. My Baja Blast is just green water from the river and none of the food is correct. Im not surprised because they compete with other Taco Bell locations to see who can hire more idiots.
I LOVE KALE MY NAME! The food coupled with the amazing owner, Nemanja, and wonderful staff, make it an extraordinary experience every time! My absolute favorite is the cauliflower and waffles, which I ordered for three straight visits (brunch is now ALL DAY)!!! I also really enjoy the Mac n cheese balls, oyster mushroom wrap, lentil soup, chilaquiles, and avocado tacos. When I’m feeling boozy, my favorite is the lavender mojito. There is so much more left to try here, and I think vegans and non-vegans alike would find something to enjoy. I know because, I brought my family in for my birthday :)
So, I snagged some takeout from Urbanbelly, and let me tell you, it's the real deal! The place has this cool vibe, and the food? Absolutely delicious. Plus, it's all about Asian fusion, adding that extra flair to every bite. If you're up for some seriously tasty eats with a laid-back vibe, Urbanbelly's the spot.
So cute, warm, and welcoming! The food is amazing, and so beautiful! I’ll be making this my new favorite place!

This Taco Bell should be closed or at least these two female employees on duty tonight should be fired. You walk into the place and there are three people literally camped out on the premises. I place my order from the display at the entrance and decide to pay cash, I get to the cashier to pay and one of the two employees of the year tells me that the only cash register available to them is broken ( I see three registers) I have to redo my order, I go back to the cashier to pick up my order and 50% of the things I ordered are sold out, the whole time the ladies are talking to me in a slang that maybe they only speak in their neighborhood and I think they do just because I am a Caucasian person. If I had not paid with a credit card I would have already left, leaving the order with the two nice ladies. We get home to eat and there are so many ingredients missing. Keeping a place like this open is an offense to clients.
I paid $40.41 for what I consider to be subpar food. The portions are just not worth the price. I paid for an additional chicken kabob and as you can tell it wasn't a full kabob. Great owner though and clean environment. Prices aren't adding up to what you receive. I thought it would be enough to feed two people with additional grilled veggies and extra kabob and was let down. I should have went on Devon.
Incredible food with kind staff. I could eat here every day of my life and never get bored, super diverse menu and everything I've tried has been delicious. INCREDIBLY generous portions, especially when you dine in. Pictured are the impossible basil stir fry, and the spicy fried rice with tofu.
Great persian food and amazing hospitality from a very kind crew. The owner seems to check in with everyone to guarantee their satisfaction. For examples, he offerd tahdig and tea to compliment our great meal and experience. I really liked their Barg kabab.

Staff is either under-trained over over-worked, hard to tell. No one wants to be here, I get it, but every night there's an issue, and god fornid you're a delivery driver picking up, because they'll never have it, and they're rude to the driver every time these incidents happen.

While the ambience of this place may not be one of significance, the food is incredible and perfect to grab and eat on the go. Try the Chicago Style Dog as it is, don’t be picky! It’s delicious!! Also try Joe’s Peach Tea and thank me later, they keep it stocked. Sis and I visited for a quick bite on the way to the park.

Came here on a Sunday around noon and it was pretty empty. I got the coconut curry pho which actually tasted really good, however not super sure if it is anything close to pho more than the fact that it’s noodles in soup. My friend got some beer chicken dish and said it was alright. The food came out really quickly, would say it’s a pretty good spot to grab a quick bite.

You guys really earned negative stars but they won’t allow me to put it. All I wanted was my money back after waiting 20 minutes for some 2 fries and a tortilla with cheese and 2 taqiutos ( however you spell it). I sat and waited with my girlfriend for this order for 20min and got up after I seen many people get there’s that ordered way after me. When I got up to get a refund because I didn’t see my order being made after waiting so long.
You guy said my order was on the line but lied.
I said again, “I just want my refund” and you guys refused.
Then I watched you guys put my fries in the fryer then start making my food even though you said it was already on the line which it wasn’t.
After waiting for my order to be made again after waiting all I wanted was my money back before you guys began the process.
This Taco Bell is unprofessional based on my experience here and I would not recommend this Taco Bell to anyone.

If you are an out of towner beware. They will NOT give you a refund. This Taco Bell held my money hostage and made me wait longer than I did at any restaurant in Chicago.

Chicago was great experience but you guys need to get it together or give me my refund for that terrible experience and long wait for 3 items.
$17.61 @ 8:37pm tell the owners to run back the camera.

I keep telling myself maybe this time ordering it.. it’ll taste better or won’t suck as much. Nope. I am no longer giving this establishment my money. Literally I never receive the correct order. The soda machines suck. The people suck. -10/0
The staff at Caspian are exceptionally warm and friendly, and many of their dish flavors are wonderful and distinct. The prices are a little high, but reasonable overall. I came here for dinner to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends, and the staff were kind, inviting, and offered to store the cake in the fridge for us. While it was pretty empty on a Tuesday night, the interior is beautifully and intricately decorated, making for a very homey and comfortable atmosphere. My group of 7 shared everything family-style.

For appetizers, we got the Fried Calamari and Kookoo Sabzi, and also got complimentary pita bread though it was a bit too dry and lacking flavor. The calamari was decent, though a bit too soggy and not crispy enough, and the Kookoo Sabzi had a spongey texture and mild taste.

For entrees, we tried the following (**= especially recommend):

- Kabob Platter for Two**: The grilled meats on this platter were absolutely delicious— exceptionally tender, juicy; rich and robust in flavor.

- Vegetarian Combo: I liked their hummus and baba ganoush; the flavors are strong and earthy.

- Zereshk Polo with Chicken**: The chicken was again cooked excellently: it was juicy, tender, and very flavorful in the sauce.

- Dizi Stew: A multi-stepped, resourceful dish with many components— our server showed us how to make / grind up the stew to both eat and drink. The flavors were rich and earthy, though the price was a little steep for the portion size.

We also tried the Dough yogurt drink, which is definitely more of an acquired taste, as it’s very sour, but quite good. Many thanks to the wonderful staff for their attentiveness and hospitality, and for making my birthday dinner feel fun and special! I’ll definitely be back in the future, especially for their richly flavored grilled meat dishes, which took the prize for me as some of the highlights of the meal.

Very special place filled with so much healthy and delicious food, savory dishes to go or creamy desserts, smoothies, juices, shots, raw desserts such as donuts, tiramisu or other cakes, crackers, chocolate barks, muffins, chips and more! I'm so glad to discover it there and they have 2 locations, the second one (Time-out market) has also warm pizza being sold by two slices. Everything so delicious and so great, you can eat a lot of this food and you don't feel heavy but full of energy. Real fuel for the body/mind/soul/spirit and there was a very kind staff. Overall, a good dining experience. A good variety of dishes from apps on through. Overall, the portions are large and the flavors are pretty good. Just know that the dishes are expensive and can feel like you’re paying a lot of money per plate. Also be prepared that there are no non-vegan options, which isn’t a bad thing… just something to be prepared for.

This Taco Bell is in a horrible building: While claiming to be a train station the building has no working water fountains even in 100+ degrees Chicago weather. Unless the friendly staff at Taco Bell to fill up your sitting dry.

Love their 3 topping bake potatoes. Wheat stick with ranch dressing. All their salad are great. 😻😻😻
Everything was amazing. The soy chicken was on point. The orange chicken regained its crispy texture despite the sauce and the portions were very large. Large enough that we filled up a take out box and it didn’t look like we’d had a single bite of it. A lot of food for the price. Nice servers. Quick service and tasty food. Drinks at a cheaper price than most Chicago restaurants too. 10:10

I strolled in and had the small potato kale soup, summer roll and blueberry cheesecake and it was all soooooo delicious. It was exactly what I didn’t know I needed.
Great portion sizes and kept me satiated. A very peaceful ambience. Will be coming back soon!
Will start with the good part: Tequeños were really tasty! We are grateful about it 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 No doubts the best we’ve tried…Now the other part: Maybe we had high expectations considering all the amazing reviews, but me and my boyfriend were very disappointed 🤷🏻‍♀️ we ordered the tofu buffalo wrap and it was ok, but in general the place was just so so…not a great atmosphere, lack of good music or ambiance. We went all the way there from downtown because we really wanted to try this awarded restaurant while visiting Chicago and we really felt it was all just good marketing. Sorry guys maybe the hype was good and now it is a bit unattended 🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe we’ll try in LA next week
I really enjoyed the food and ambience in this restaurant! The vibes inside are chill— it’s spacious and nicely decorated, good for groups both large and small. Service is quick and the staff are very friendly.

The lunch and dinner combos are the same portion size, but dinner is $1 more. The portions are large, and the variety of spring rolls, salad, entree, and rice makes it worth it. I got the Praram’s Plate Combo with Soy Chicken. The soy chicken was good, but I think I generally prefer the texture of soy beef more. Still, it was very tender with a meat-like texture, and the peanut sauce was creamy and flavorful (the highlight of the dish, for sure). The spinach added fresh flavor and color. The purple rice was a little hard, but tasted good. The egg rolls were crispy and piping hot.

The prices are not low, but they’re pretty standard compared to similar vegan Thai restaurants in Chicago. The menu is also pretty similar to some of the other nearby vegan Thai restaurants, but the options are nonetheless diverse and expansive, and I’m looking forward to trying more items on the menu with different protein types too!

My partner and I went for dine in yesterday ( we have ordered delivery in the past), and had a great experience!
First off, I called to make sure they were open and the gentleman I spoke with was very sweet on the phone ( assuming the owner?). I ordered the wonton soup, There was another soup that we ordered and three entrées and the dumplings. Everything was very good! Some things were a little spicy for me, but that I’m sure it could be made more mild if you ask. The atmosphere was so chill. It was exactly what I needed after a crazy weekend at work.. also, a sidenote, I ordered the fig tea and it was absolutely amazing and I will have to find out the secret next time ! Thanks again ❤️

Delicious Rueben Sandwich!!!! It’s now my new fave item on their menu. All the spices and ingredients came together nicely, no overpowering flavors. Also cool spot to grab a bite at anytime.

This is a great little restaurant with decent prices and some of the best food we've had in Chicago. Their menu is big and there is something for everyone, including Chicago dogs and burritos. Definitely recommend!

First time having a Chicago Dog and it did not disappoint.. Never would’ve thought this combination of toppings on a dog would of taste so yummy!
It's just an awesome, cozy place in Wicker Park on Ashland Ave. The atmosphere is full of ambiance and decor from the old country. There is a nice stocked bar with seating as you enter, and you cascade down the steps into the dining area.

The owner, Mazoud, is really nice and laid back. He prepares fresh and authentic dishes with eloquence and meticulous precision. There is a lamb dish that he prepares at the table for you. Every bite is succulent and delicious. He really loves and cares about his patrons, and of course his restaurant, and especially the food. He can recommend and point you in the right palatable direction.

Definitely recommend trying Persian here if you haven't or have before. Nice experience. You won't be disappointed!

I always liked eating crunchy Tacos from Taco Bell. It's still a guilty pleasure for me to this day. You can not go wrong with their classic beef Tacos. I can eat 10 of those easily. However, some of their new items are hit or miss. I tried their protein bowl (chicken), which was okay. Bland but passible. Their grilled Steak Burrito is another story. It was nasty and the steak was too chewy and rubbery. The cheese couldn't save that thing. I thought I was going to be disgusted by the Mexican Pizza too, but I'll be the first to say that I was shocked by how good it tasted. Overall, I recommend Taco Bell because of their ground beef. Avoid any of the other food that doesn't have their beef because they aren't as good. Glad to have a location downtown. I like to have cheat meals that every now and then aren't necessarily the healthiest, but that I still like because of how the food tastes. Live mas right?

I love the Korean Asian fusion. We had to try the curry pho which is really good. It tasted even better with rice since the soup is thicker and stronger taste it went well with rice too. We also ordered the spicy Korean rice cake soup which has flat Korean rice cakes and was spicy but I enjoyed it alot too. The Mango was a shock and somehow I didn't expect it but enjoyable non the less. It was very spicy but thank God we had the rice. Over all I enjoyed the meal. The restaurant gave a cafeteria vibe and it was very casual and great for group setting. I highly suggest trying them both.

Same as always - food and service quality at all Taco Bell, like all fast food, can always be a bit hit or miss, but the folks here tend to work pretty fast and courteously. Easy late night option, great for people with busy schedules. Prices have increased a bit and Rewards program has gotten worse in my opinion, neither of those are issues with this specific Taco Bell though that's just frustration with corporate
I had the BBQ Chicken Wrap on my first visit to Pockets. I thought the wrap was good overall. In my opinion, it seemed a bit heavy on the lettuce vs chicken ratio. Wrap, chips, and a can of pop were about $15.

Not sure where to start but embarrassing place to say the least...Embarrassing that this place is even downtown. Not sure how long it'll be in business. Messed up our orders, other customers were awful. Customer before us was waving her hair brush around...Needs to be revamped and a whole new crew. Scary situation.

We enjoyed the show! Two stars 🌟

Decent taco bell, super convenient if you work in the building or are waiting for a train at the station. I've seen some complaints about the price being high for a taco bell, but it's definitely not outrageous, I wouldn't have even noticed a difference. Workers are quite fast, quality of food is good. Located in the food court on the first floor of the building, past the escalators.

Edit: I am ashamed to admit the staff recognize me by name and face.
This is the best Persian restaurant in the city, definitely a hidden gem.
I love the food here, good portion and reasonable prices. They have the most tasteful Iranian tea and also, they have the traditional home made Saffron ice cream which is amazing.
Make sure to call every weekend to know their weekend specials.
Employees are very nice and patient. We also got to see the owner, very kind and welcoming gentlemen.
I love the interior design, very cozy and warm with great music.
I'm very confident about giving this place a 5-star rating!

1- Food: Food was absolutely delicious and healthy, you can eat as much as you want here without feeling stuffed. Everything is very healthy and cooked with little to no oil. I loved their teas too!

2- Vibe: The environment is great, pretty calm and relaxing! Also a lot of art work and interesting messages on the walls!

3- Pricing: Very reasonable, relatively cheap and totally worth it!

4- Cleanness: REALLY neat and clean. Germophobe approved!! 5/5!!! From the table to floor and bathroom, everything was very neat and clean!

5- Staff: super nice and friendly, didn't have any issues!

6- Menu diversity: their menu looks amazing and has tons of delicious options!!

100% recommend for vegans and non-vegans! Especially if you're looking for a relax place to eat some healthy food!
We recently catered from Ameer Kabob. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable to tailor our order for a large family party.
Aisha (spelling?) was very thorough and patient walking us though the menu.
Our family left happy and full 😋

I love this small vegan family owned cafe. Along with their variety of food choices and smoothies, there is always a wide selection of board games, informational pamphlets and books on veganism, and classical music playing in the background. The food is consistently delicious and best of all they are always considerate and careful about my food allergies. I’m so glad to have this restaurant in my neighborhood and I recommend anyone who wants to try a vegan food choice for the first time to come here. The curry bowl (pictured) and green smoothie are my go to choices, but no matter what you choose you will not be disappointed!
I got the happy burger and it was really nice. I was so grateful to eat a yummy, nutritious, vegan burger. I liked that the texture wasn’t really mushy and held together well while eating. It was my first time having cucumber on a burger, so that was pretty cool. They have educational decor, and the books/games shelf is really cute
This is my first time eating anything plant based vegan wow the burger is amazing happy burger is the name the soup also was piping hot very good as well a bit pricey on soup all in all 5 stars.

We went here last week during the Arts Festival, it is a cozy little restaurant, very clean and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We the Chicago dog, which contained pickles, onions, bell peppers, some kind of chili pepper and tomatoes, at first site, it was intimidating however after the first bite I was hooked. The flavors complimented each other so well. The poppy seed bun added to the marvelous taste of this Chicago dog which exploded the mouth senses. We chose the meal with 2 dogs, fries and a drink which was reasonably priced. I suggest you venture out to find this gem of a Chicago dog house and experience it first hand. You will not be disappointed.

This place is AWESOME. Had a Southwest pocket sandwich, and the Gobbler hot sandwich and both were amazing. Super fresh, clean environment, and really good flavors. Not your average salad restaurant, will definitely return to try more of the menu.

Also kind and quick service!

There are so many things to love about this place. Great service and very helpful with all the questions you have. Food was delicious and fresh, what tops the whole experience is this place are doing their best to be eco friendly. The only thing kind of put me off are the propaganda tv that's being played constantly by the water station. But overall, great cute little vegan cafe, we will be back for sure.

They messed up my order. The person working the register didn't know anything about what came on the food. The bun on the burger was stale. The hot dog was overly burnt and oddly chewy. The staff was unprofessional. Tacos weren't half bad.

All in all would not recommend.
COVID-19 delivery. Super good food! Everything arrived on time as expected, hot and fresh. Falafel and chicken were both cooked to perfection and spiced for flavor. Definitely on my fast list for Mediterranean in the noble square area!

This location charges more than the others which are only a few blocks away, and barely put any filling/toppings on the items you order. Want a tortilla tightly wrapped with barely anything inside? Come here! Want to get your order wrong/incomplete? This is the place for you! I only feel bad for the people that work here, it’s not entirely their fault, I’m sure they are only doing as instructed, but to be so stingy - leaving ingredients out, filling things up only halfway? I’ll walk to another location.
Fast and Fresh! First time visitor. Went for the original turkey w/pita and the balance of fresh cool veggies and a soft warm pita hit the spot. Completely flavorful with a side of ranch to add, but did not require it. Service was quick, and the gentleman who helped me was almost too quick to understand, but respectfully took my order and proceeded to make it himself. Clean tables, but I wasn’t sure if I should wait for the meal or so they bring it to you. It a lot of signage, and no place to recycle my empty bottle when putting your own trash away. Not enough negatives to deter my rating.
Ordered a chicken shawarma entree and a small hummus, along with two cokes, for $18 (before tip). This portion size was enough to fill up the two of us, and will be having the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. This place is PHENOMENAL, the flavors of each dish complement one another very well! It has been a very long time since I have had a shawarma dish of this caliber, I definitely will be a long standing patron of this place. Owner and staff are very accommodating!
Loving Heart Vegan Cafe feels like home. With such huge hospitality, this has easily become one of the top vegan restaurants in the city. Its menu is rich in flavor and very economical. My favorite are definitely the bowls!
**OLD REVIEW**
One of the best Arabic foods I had tried in Chicago land.
Babaghanoosh was amazing and delicious.

**UPDATE**
Apparently they have now merged with Hummus Grill. The new restaurant also offers pretty damn good food.

-The kefta was decent quality
-The Chicken Kabob was pretty damn good and tender.
- The Hummus taste very authentic and creamy
- The Taboleh Salad also tasted authentic and home-made which is good...
- Very clean resturant which is always a +

- Unfortunately the portion size is nowhere close to what the OG Ameer kabob used to serve. In General the meal size was a bit smaller that what you would usually get at a Mediterranean restaurant when you order a mixed grill plate
- The food is not quite like what I used to get at the OG location tbh... overall the food was tasty and FRESH.
